Popped in while passing through Montrose. Service was excellent. Did not need to wait to be served and food order taken. Food was absolutely delicious and very fresh. Would definitely recommend the burgers. And had to indulge with a large slice of white chocolate cheesecake with strawberry and chocolate drizzle garnish. 10/10. Highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely cafe, we stayed at the linked hotel which was also very nice and clean with very friendly and helpful staff who kindly organised our early breakfast before we set off for an early morning Rally, the service in the cafe was exceptional, nothing was too much bother for the lady who went out her way and opened up early for us which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast rolls and coffee were just what we needed, she was very welcoming and we couldn’t have asked for better service. Highly recommend popping in and you can also see their beautiful black cat Rogue who’s super friendly and loves a pet.

I’ve reviewed the Bell Rock before but simply had to do it again. Last night, I had the best fresh battered chicken I think I’ve ever tasted. Crispy batter and it didn’t fall off the chicken. The chicken wasn’t chewy either. My other half had the regular battered fish and it was huge! The staff always greet you will a smile and hello.

I called to place an order and spoke with a lovely gentleman…however…my order…well done spare ribs…were so fatty 🤮 next dish VEGETABLE CHOW MEIN…found prawns on opening…🤮and final…curry sauce and onion ‘watery’ chips were lovely but for £30 NOT WORTH IT. I’m awaiting on an £8 refund BUT IM HOPING they will do better??? To continue…I assume it was owner who called me back…absol DISGUSTING ATTITUDE…and would only refund for chow mein n NOTHINGVELSE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ALL DISGUSTING!!! If it wasn’t for them closing for good tomorrow ID BE GOING TO TRADING STANDARDS😡😡😡

Hôtel très chouette. Halte super en redescendant des cairngorns. Et le must : une plage absolument magnifique à 3 mn...

Visited here on a Saturday afternoon. I was really surprised nobody else was in the resteraunt. Service was okay, did nothing wrong but didn't really go out of their way. Food was pretty good but a little overpriced. It was an okay visit, however three stars is probably an accurate review

Fab filled rolls and homemade cakes. Sausages, bacon, etc. all sourced from local butcher, which is a huge plus in my book.

Not long moved into this area and I have tried all Chinese takeaway…and this has been the best YET!!! The WORST was that one which recently closed down…I can’t remem name…plus they gave me wrong meal also and their customer service regards complaints was worst Iv EVER EXPERIENCED…but as I said if I could give more than 5 starts I would🎉🎉🎉this shall be my REGULAR FOREVER🎉💯

Recommended by a friend and I am so glad I went. Little bit out the way but worth it, I got some love Christmas trinkets and had a nice lunch to boot. Friendly staff, real family feel, such a lovely Christmas Treat

Worst Chinese I've ever had im nearly 60 years of age and eaten a few but this byfar was the worst ever and took over an hour to get the food stay away from it 🙃
