Ordered on their app. Meal was ready bang on time. Curry set meal for 2 was delicious. I can't understand some of the reviews on here trying to destroy a small business. Highly recommend this take away 😊 100% will use again

Worse than usual. Tikka masala, was a peanut sauce, horrible!!!!! Tesco would have been more edible and a damn site cheaper. Not coming back, sorry.

We had the pleasure of a very nice Ginger Gurka Masala with boiled rice and garlic tikka masala nan bread for dinner from here and the owners were lovely people and we will definitely use this place again when here.

Ordered delivery. Only good thing was how long it took. Food was the poorest Indian we've had - ever. Frozen processed chicken(what there was of it) in aloo curry. Sauce oily/greasy and tasteless. Naan bread poor. Wife's tandoori chicken - poor quality meat, no taste at all. Waste of money.

Took over 2 hours to show up and was cold, they were quite rude over the phone when asked when it would show up

Vegetable pakora and yoghurt sauce is great

Ordered online, food was delivered within promised time and delivery driver was very friendly.

Set meal vindaloo & everest masala. Also a 12" munchies box. Curries were OK, vegetable pakora were OK but the sauce is brilliant. The munchies box was over kill with chips & not enough donner meat, the donner meat wasn't good, the chicken pakora weren't good. Chose chilli sauce & garlic sauce to go with the minchie box & the sauces are bloody brilliant. Ashame the rest wasn't.

Went into restaurant at 16.50 to order a simple mealtime is19.10 still haven't arrived would have been quicker driving to Perth and back soso disappointed. Don't think I'll be back very slow service and very poor delivery service .

It doesn't look much from the outside but the food was soooooooo tasty 👌👌

Never received my order, man was very rude and abrupt on phone, I asked for a refund of £30, he said I would receive refund via app, tried that, been given the runaround. He said the delivery person was raging as he couldn’t find my address, like I care, I wanted food.

They accepted my order on Just Eat. The next notification said driver was on their way with my food. The next notification said my order had been cancelled. That's very poor from any company.

Food is very good and the woman that works there is amazing so friendly. but the man that answers the phones and works there is very very rude absolutely disgusted with the way he talks to you doesn’t let you finish what your saying doesn’t listen to what your saying I was asking about something on the menu and it’s clearly on their menu but he’s shouting at me saying it’s not on the menu when all I did was ask a question not a very nice man and I would suggest to them to keep the woman on the phones as she is very nice and helpful.

Go here for really great experience and authenic asian food with a twist.

Had the nanwich and biryani and it's one of the best I have had. Will be my go to when I am in Arbroath. Highly recommend

We asked for something that wasn’t on their menu so instead of just saying would you like anything else they hung up the phone then when called back they shouted at us used to absolutely love the food here but will never eat here again now and I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW about this experience so rude and disgusting

Ordered takeaway for 3 people. Huge portion sizes but food was really disappointing. Salad on kebab was not fresh and food was very dry. Will not be back unfortunately.

I don't know who has given this place 4 stars but it certainly wasn't anyone who has eaten anything from here. My Chicken Pathia was a tasteless bland mush, the chicken also bland, like cheap boiled chicken. One look inside the shop tells you to go somewhere else, somewhere cleaner, somewhere with decent food. My garlic nan didn't have any garlic on it, it was just a doey soggy nan with no flavour, how can you possibly produce food this bad? One look at the shop when I went in to complain rold me everything I needed to know, it was a dirty mess with nails keeping up bits of wood and probably the ceiling too. Go down and see the place for yourself it's horrible!

Ordered from them tonight and they gave me the wrong size of pizza so I phoned them up the man on the phone was so apologetic, came so quick with my order, I even got to keep the pizza they originally brought. Always lovely delicious food would recommend. 😍😍😍

Never disappointed no matter what ordered from curry to munchies box.

Didn't take longer than 20-30 mins. Had the chicken korma, chicken pakora and the chicken nuggets. Everything was delicious, would definitely order there again and definitely recommend this place.

Thank you so much to the lady who I spoke to on the phone regarding allergy/dietary requirement advice (I think she's the owner). She was absolutely lovely and so helpful. Their takeaway service is spot on and my mushroom curry was really tasty! Please do support this local business. 💙

Food is nice and you get a decent portion. They only accept cash though, or ordering through an app if you want to pay by card that charges 50p to use. Has put me off going back but only due to the cash payment issue, not for any other reason.

Best takeaway in Arbroath!! Their Indian is the best but the pizzas are better than the chains like Dominoes

Tried this for the first time as I am new to the area, I ordered Indian food and noticed it was a bit pricey for the meals. Got home with my food and no one would eat it as it was really bad!! It was greasy, smelled fishy, even tho there was no fish dishes ordered. We gave it a go but had to bin it! Lesson learned, if you want Indian food go to an Indian restaurant. Never again yuk!

Went in last week for a meal for my wife and I.....stood at counter for between 5 and 6 minutes. I could hear voices in the not so clean kitchen area but nobody decided to come through and actually take my order...........so I left and went to another carry out establishment in the town.....won’t be back!! Nobody els came in during this time....

The food was cold when it arrived and the chicken was chewy. I was disappointed as previous orders from Gurkha have been superb. The price on this occasion was excessive for the quality of food... £17 for 1 curry (cold with chewy meat), 1 lemon rice & 1 garlic naan (which tasted like a regular naan).

The food was disgusting and FULL of grease, we did not eat over 80%of it and it was put in the bin. Will never use them again.

I had Khatmandu sweet and sour curry vegetable as I am vegetarian the veg was clearly frozen tiny processed dice carrots and peas. Sauce was decent and the bread was good. My partner had lamb rogan Josh obviously made with my sauce as we’ve never seen such a pale rogan josh or one with a lentil base. He ate it all and said it was tasty whatever it was, just not what he ordered/wanted I.e. a garlicky curry with a tomato base. Unlikely to order again

Really disappointed with the quality of the food lastnight, I ordered a cheese pizza , cheese on chips, and chicken pakora and all three looked, smelled, and tasted like reheats. Normally the food quality is superb and I can quite easily finish this meal yonmybself no bother and it's my "go to" meal when ordering from here, but last night I struggled to eat 2 slices of pizza, a few chips, and one pakora, the rest went in the bin and ended up having to cook something (after a 12 hour shift it was the last thing I wanted to be doing at 9pm) very dissatisfied with the food lastnight guys, unfortunately I won't be ordering for a while if the quality has once again been compromised, sorry!

Never a bad meal from here! Food always hot, fresh and on time! My favourite go to takeout place in Arbroath! Always cater to any special requests for example "no onions in salad" etc, top food, top quality and top service!

We ordered the set meal for 2 online and initially there seemed to be some confusion, as we received a phone call saying there would only be 1 naan bread and not the advertised 2. This seems to be due to an issue on their OWN website/online menu, which advertises 2 naan breads, not 1. However, in the end, after quite a lot of insisting, we did receive the 2 naan breads. We ended up paying £0.50 extra for the garlic naan and £1.50 extra for a peshwari naan. So this is something perhaps to be wary of when you order. Delivery was £3.00. The food itself was really very delicious!! The vegetable pakoras were plentiful and tasted good. We had a classic chicken korma and an Everest chicken korma and both were beautifully creamy and just sweet enough, with big chunks of good quality chicken. Both the peshwari naan bread and the garlic naan bread were good. Really could not fault the food in any way. Beautifully cooked!Would definitely recommend and we will be returning customers, despite the irritating menu mix up.

Ordered meals for 12 of us visiting Arbroath from Yorkshire, no one was disappointed. The 5 curries we ordered were superb, large trays, succulent meat and proper strength on my vindaloo 😀

Don't know how the original chicken was cooked but it was definitely microwaved before we received it, no wonder it was delivered quickly

food here is awesome! our go to Indian! I love the kebabs and pakoras and my family partner couldn’t get over how good the chicken korma pizza is.

Usually happy with this place but curry sauce was watery and bland. Thai curry went in bin lack of flavour and so fiery compared to normal. For £32.50 my birthday meal was a disappointment.

Order was very late. Had to phone twice. First time was told it was on its way and would be here in 10 mins. 2nd time was told it would be 5mins. It was still longer than this. Chips were hot but both pizza's and pacoras were luke warm at best. Not happy at all as spent quite a lot of money on this order. Would have tried elsewhere if knew how long it would take to deliver. Plus I specifically asked on my 2nd call if it would be hot and was told yes. Very disappointed.

I've used this takeaway for what must be about 15 years! I've never once had a bad experience. I find the staff very pleasant and have to say I've tried many Indian restaurants around Britain but always prefer my local takeaway. I've often watched my meals being cooked etc and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Chicken tikka masala is korma made pink. Not impressed at all. A tasty korma yes.. but not a tikka masala. Rogan Josh very nice as was the pakora (sauce was different..) and the naan. Would not go for tikka masala again, pink korma sauce and chicken.

Ordered a meal for two THEY got it wrong and told me if I ordered again they will try and get it right won't be ordering again your attitude was awful and your curry worse you have lost a regular and I do believe if I got what I asked for I would have ignored the dirty kitchen and probably enjoyed what I got but instead I have sent a full report about your manky kitchen to Angus council

Sadly, items were missing from our order for 2nd time. Didn't see the point that in calling restaurant to have them delivered as it would have cost more for them to have done so. (Poppadums) However we've never had this happen when calling our order in, only upon using the Just Eat app.

Ordered chips cheese and donor last night , only to open it and find out there was no cheese put on it ..... Seems like a petty moan but when your are looking forward to a meal that involves gooey melted cheese and get landed with dry chips and donor meat , bit of a let down especially when it costs over £6 !
