Chips cheese with barely any cheese. Donner, chips cheese with no cheese or sauce. Won’t be back.

We have ordered from here a number of times and the food is always good. However, the delivery service is shocking. Every time we order, delivery is at least 20-25 mins late and they seem pretty unapologetic when we chase it up.

Rip off mechants, paid for a pizza went outside to wait on it went back in and hadnt started making it saying they were waiting for payment, had a few drinks so clearly trying to take advantage, shocking that.

Usually really good but thought I'd chance a biriyani last night. Definately not cooked the way a biriyani should be. Chunks of plain rice mixed through a bland mix of small tilka chunks Was obvious they had just mashed up a container of plain rice into a mediocre sauce with little chunks of tikka Should it not be cooked in a clay oven with meat on the bottom and rice on top. Was really annoyed at this and it was £14 with a limp salad and a korma sauce with mushrooms mixed through. Really let down

We ordered a delivery from here last night. We ordered; 4 portions of chips (2 with curry sauce, 1 salt and pepper, 1 with Just cheese), chicken pakoras, mushroom bhajis, a donner kebab and a small seafood pizza - coming to £60 The food was late (not a good start but we kept open minded at this stage) From first look we noticed a missing chips and cheese and missing bhajis - instead there was some mushroom curry that we never ordered. The food was all cold so we had to heat everything up straight away. We phones about the food missing and there was someone sent to amend these missing items (thank you!) The donner was really overly spicy so unfortunately I couldn’t eat my kebab. As well as this the the seafood pizza didn’t have much seafood on it. A real shame, but I don’t plan to order again.

The delivery was slow, the food was cold and some items missing. A disappointing experience, I doubt we will use this restaurant again.

Probably the worst India take away I have ever had. Ordered on line for delivery at 19:00 arrived at 17:30 Totally tasteless. Absolutely shocking

Go here after Crown sometimes, hit or miss sometimes good, sometimes ends up in bin 50/50. Update - got kebab other night, could've choked when saw a dead big blue bottle fly in amongst the salad.

Just wanted to say they the delivery driver who went to my neighbours with their meal was AMAZING! We have a rescue dog who seems very vicious and foams at the mouth and barks at everyone, not even delivering to us but getting barked at, this lovely guy came back with some gravy bone treats and fed Bailey, what an amazing guy!! We had a Nawabi biryani, a chicken tikka Kadie. Ratia and a peshweri naan all first class. So tasty thank you. X

Start with service - Poor, we felt like an inconvenience to the boy serving, despite spending 50 note he couldn't be arsed. Food was pretty pish, despite the set meal stating any curry I had to pay extra for mines. One mate got a mixed kebab, that was OK, other mate got a couple pizzas and they looked like they'd been cooked in the crematorium. All in all just avoid the place

You have just lost a long standing customer tonight. Your attitude to a genuine complaint about another order being late was downright rude. This was a pre order and had been placed over an hour before collection was due at 18.55. The order was still not ready at 19.20 and the response from you was 'well that's the way it is' When told that we would not order from you again, the reply was 'that's fine'. We've been your customer for a number of years and put up with orders that are wrong and delays, but tonight's rudeness has gone too far.

I got the meal deal. I was not disappointed the nan bread was fluffy and light, the veg pakora was very tasty with 2 dips, and spicy onions. The main; I had chicken masala and was very tasty and a good portion of pilau rice with it. The next time I am in Monifieth I will be getting my curry from this place.

We had another great experience from the gul anar. Lovely food, delivered quickly by a driver that was courteous and chatty. What more can you ask for.

£7.95 on the board for large kebab, got charged £8.50, and charged £7.50 for curry sauce and chips, complete rip off

Ordered a munchy box and a chicken burger and chips. Chicken burger was good but the munchy box was a real let down. No salad or sauce. On trying to phone the take away to complain was met with a constant engaged tone. Returned the box. It contained chips with donner meat on top and all I could see were a few pakoras scattered round. Very light in weight also. Very dry. Was refunded exactly £11.95 for the munchy box. Would never use this place again. TIP: try Euphrates a few miles down the road in Carnoustie - AMAZING - 3 x the weight and a fantastic selection with salad and plenty of sauce

Used to be good years ago. Had several disappointments then had a curry last year and it was horrendous, said I wouldn't be back. Thought I'd give it another go tonight, had a pizza and it went straight in the bin it was worse than a cheap oven pizza.. asked for Garlic Mayo dip and it was like water. Very bad. Won't be back permanently this time.

The food is always delicious and we have been customers for many years. My only grumble is the orders are NEVER correct. Always missing one or two things, be it small sides are the main dish. They are quick to redeliver if you get in touch- but tonight we had food missing and their phone must have been ringing off the hook all night as we couldn’t get in touch to let them know.

Top quality every time. We have been customers for about 10 years. Our experience has been - always ready on time, always accurate with the order. The online purchase option is really good. Not the cheapest take away in the area but one of the best.

Have been a customer at this takeaway for over 20 years now and have always thought the food and service was excellent. However recently it has gone a bit downhill. Tonight got chicken chilli masala was OK but was not a patch on what it used to be. Keep giving them one more chance but they really need to get another chef

Now a dessert shop and very cool and modern. Kids loved their treats. Miss the curry house though!

Have been using this takeaway for over 20 years. I have to agree with previous reviews that it has gone a bit downhill recently. Had curry last night which was very nice but the plain paratha was terrible. Far too thin dry and brittle and totally inedible . Tasted like cardboard so went in the bin. Such a shame as it's our favourite takeaway

We bought 3 meals - it was more than enough for 4 adults . Curries were very tasty and had lots of chicken . Rice was excellent . Sauces were super . Not the quickest but worth the wait.

Ordered at 1745 and told 45 minutes. 1946 still no food. Will not use again. Service rubbish.

After 15 years of using this place, tonight will be the last time. Over the last year this place has went downhill and the prices are now just sky high. Customer service is... well there is no customer service, if I could leave no star review I would. Sure they will be losing plenty more loyal customers.

I have not ordered Shish Kebab, for at least 5 years, as my favourite place in Dundee sold up, and i also moved away. I ordered a large Shish Kebab last night, and it was AMAZING. The staff are very friendly also. I can't fault a single thing about my meal, or experience, and I shall definitely return. 10 out of 10, and I would highly recommend

First pre ordered online for 18:50 didn't arrive until 19:48 food also arrived cold. Tandoori meal was missing gravy which was selected during order process. Hoagie did not have any chilli sauce even though stated it was standard. Food was,at best, completely forgettable.

Great Service from staff at the Front and Great Tasty Food. I regularly see the young boy and girl going out of their way to keep customers happy. Keep it up!!

This was our 1st time we have had a meal from here. The food was outstanding. We had a mixed starter which was filling in its self. The two curries we got where full of chicken and lamb. We will be keeping the rest for tomorrow... Would definitely recommend this place.. 1st class

The takeaway food here is wonderful. Unfortunately I have never ever received a correct order. Usually sauces or salad are missing. Lovely food but it’s a shame orders aren’t properly checked before delivery.

We ordered a lamb Balti and a veg Jalfrezi and were told 1 1/2 hours before delivery which was fair as they had just opened. Delivery came on time but the food was inedible due to the amount of chilli in both dishes which incidently tasted the same. We had rice and a chat patt and a portion of onions and the whole lot cost £30 I believe they have been taken over by Ganges so now that is two restaurants that we will NEVER use again. Absolutely disappointing after looking forward to a Saturday treat.

Whilst staying in Monifieth we thought we'd like a curry take-away. We looked online and found the Gul AnarJaha. Out we went and on approaching it, it looked like a large, bright and clean kebab shop. However once inside and on looking at the menu, you start to get a good feeling. This is also an Indian restaurant par excellence We chose our meals and oh! What a surprise. They are up there with the best take-aways we've ever had. We had to wait 25 minutes for them to be made (everything was freshly cooked) but that gave me an excuse for a quick pint along the road. If you're a curry connoisseur, you'll be delighted with this place. I thoroughly recommend it.

Incredibly expensive. Curry sauce and couple of chapattis used to be £3.50 a couple of years ago. Now, £7.95. Chapattis average and curry sauce below average. Definitely last time I’ll go in. Feeling fully ripped off. Avoid.

Walk in order, 25 minute wait on a regular kebab, then the meat was hard and dried up, even the sauce couldn't save it. Had chips from nearby chip shop waiting which were cold due to wait. Won't be back.

Great mixed kebab fast prompt service

We use this carry out on a regular basis, at least once a fortnight. The quality of the food is just excellent. Have had various curry’s and various kebabs and always excellent. Staff in the carry out are also extremely friendly and obliging (I’m always adding or asking them to remove something I don’t like and never an issue). I’d highly recommend this carry out, excellent quality and extremely competitive prices.

Been a loyal customer for few years , but the last few times, we have found that when ordering food by phone the cost was inaccurate and when queried the reply was that we looking at the wrong menu. This explanation was given other occasions even though we had the most up to date menu. We normally don't query the extra cost as the meals are good but have found that the portion size have significantly made smaller and no where the same quality as in the past The cost of two take away meals with out any extras was equivalent to having a meal in a Restaurant. It's only curry!!

Never let down with curries from here. Usually have to wait a while as cooked fresh, but order can be phoned in. Foods always well wrapped and keeps hot until reaching home. Chicken tikka thali gives a smaller taste of four dishes. Parthia, ttikka masala...

After waiting a great deal of time compared to other establishments I arrived to collect and pay for my take-away that I ordered by browsing THEIR website and THEIR online menu only to be told it cost more than what i had worked it out to be. When queried, I was informed that the online menu has not been updated for about 3 years and the price now is the price; not good customer service in my opinion as with the business being at fault, a good-will gesture would have been to apologise and honour the online prices and possibly gain a new customer but unfortunately NOT! Also charged a supplement of £1.60 to change the type of complimentary sauce. Sorry but you have definitely not gained a customer. As for the food, it was OK, we could not fault it but also would not rave about it, therefore 2 stars due to your poor customer service and marketing.
