Delivery on time as usual. I always look forward to the food from here but I was disappointed, the curry was just watery sauce and cold. I must admit this is a first. My food ended up in the bin.

I was in the supermarket across the road from the Curriemuir but they get 20 ⭐ anyway.

Stopped off on our route home for a takeaway curry for 2. We wonder if it’s proper chefs doing these dishes as this had to be the blandest food we’ve ever tasted. I was the only customer in the shop when I ordered it was clean & customer service was good enough & friendly. A little more time and thought needs to go into the food …..especially at the prices we paid !! One dish had the same consistency as milk and absolutely no seasoning whatsoever and the other dish was just passable ….just !! £34 worth of food. All we ask is you get it right !!

Received the wrong item, cheese pizza instead of pepperoni, also, chicken pakora wasnt great, far too chewy, couldn't eat it.

Too much garlic sauce, probably twice as much as was needed which drowned the whole thing. Would be nice to have separate, shame to have to pay extra. Otherwise all was great.

Food was really quick and piping hot but ordered a peroma and yet again no doner on it 🤷🏻‍♂️ no point phoning to complain or rest of food cold by time it arrives, will still order again 🤣

The actual food was very good. However none of the boxes had been labelled up so we didn’t know who’s food was who’s (9 of us ordered including a veggie and a vegan). No idea what I ate but it was nice. My vegan friend didn’t eat as he didn’t know what he could which is a real shame

Order was late, not for the first time, when it arrived, food was barely warm and stodgy. Couldn't eat it, this is happening more and more, used to be a regular, but wont be ordering from them again.

Sorry to say this was not an enjoyable meal. The doner pizza was the saddest I’ve ever seen, barely any sauce or cheese on the pizza base. The curry sauce I got was way too spicy and had way too much much fennel which completely overpowered any other flavour.

The mixed starter missed sauce and Donner kebab wasn't very warm, the Currys were lovely although the Korma was watery.

Delivered in good time- however two of the three items were wrong. We ordered two burgers with bbq sauce and salad. One came with mayo and salad and one was completely plain.

Very decent amount of food in their munchy boxes however it's mediocre nothing special. Pizzas are also okay but at around £12 for a pizza I'm not so sure it's value for money, good enough food if you can't be bothered cooking or had a long day at work. Delivery took forever one night but was very quick the other so mixed opinions on that I guess some nights are busier than others which is totally fine.

I had a lovely meal asked for things not to be included and they weren't, meal was hot and arrived early so that was good, ur driver was very friendly too, thank you

Delivery driver was absolutely lovely! However things were missing from the order which was disappointing.

Over 2 hours wait for the food to come freezing cold

Took almost 2 hours to deliver a burger with chips and chicken kebab. Made 3 calls to shop in 30 minute period and was told each time, it was on its way. When food eventually arrived, it was barely warm and had clearly been sitting under heat lamp or similar for a while as it was tough and chewy. Not great.

I had asked for sauce and never received it was the main point why I ordered what I did.

Delivery was expected within an hour but arrived half an hour early. Food was roasting hot 10/10

Food was vile, fowl smelling, swimming in 3” of grease on 2 curries, the kids pizza dough was not cooked fully, both curries were curdled and less than 5 pieces of small bits of chicken in both. When contacted the restaurant was met with several excuses. Food was so bad even the chips were inedible. Have taken pics of everything trading standards to be called! Avoid at all costs

Quickest delivery I’ve ever had honestly took about 10minutes and was banging and roasting hot, no complaints here 😊

Really good pizza, really good delivery driver!

Asked for a double cheese burger and didn't even get asked how I wanted it. Just this pile of burger relish. Was not a nice burger, plus the chips were cold. Save you money and wait for something to open the next day. The shop across the road is the better option.

Changing this review, to many times I order online and get stuff missing and the food has been sub par to many times since the lockdowns ended. I don't know what happened but this place and the thrums takeaway up Northmuir are currently at their worst. Stick to the steeple chippy or the Chinese places.

Excellent food with a huge variety of dishes to choose from. It has everything and you could be spoiled for choice. I like the set menu for curry's which offer good value for money. Friendly staff and food is sent out quite quickly. Cash only so come prepared but a cash point is situated nearby.

The chicken on the chicken Maryland was completely inedible I had to throw it in the bin complete waste of money it was harder than stone

Best curries we have had even compared to sit in restaurants. Our baby has a bad milk intolerance and they made sure we know which items were safe (recent restaurant experiences either forgot or didn't care leaving our baby in alot of pain) kirrie really has the best takeaways.

Over 2hrs wait from ordering to being delivered. Just eat notified order was on its way but still no order 45mins later - phoned shop to be told it was just leaving and another 20minute wait. Husbands order was not available so just gave us random bits no phone call to say there was a problem- not what we wanted or ordered but given how long we waited we took it but pakora and mozzarella sticks was not a good replacement for a mega kebab that we actually ordered - really disappointing.

Our first night in Kirriemuir and all restaurants were fully booked, so we opted to grab a takeaway from here. The guys behind the counter were first class and the food was tremendous. My partner forgot to add a naan bread to the order so the fella added one to our order for free, and gave our boys a drink as he knew we were "guests" to the area (obviously don't go to any business expecting freebies) but this made a huge impression on us out of towners. Well played lads, one really chuffed family.

Second time ordering from here, ordered pepperoni pizza for my autostic son (it's his go to food) the pizza was very spicy and he couldn't eat it! Other wise food is tasty from here

Wrong curry, wrong rice, didnt realise until delivery driver left and I'd opened it. Didn't place another order, wait time would've been too long, food was still quite tasty though.

Ordered via the just eat app,time delivered said 17-55 food arrived around 18.30ish. I also had to call the takeaway to ask if it had actually been sent out,service on phone at takeaway was outstanding tho very helpful and it arrived within the next ten minutes so I'm just gonna put this down to them being extra busy possibly. I have never had a fault with them. Hopefully next time it'll be on time as that was the only problem tonight but I understand if busy it can be a challenge to get food out on time slots.

not too bad food but took 2 and a half hours from ordering until delivery burger was inedible as were the chips, salad with pakoras was wilted to the point of death we ate some of the food but there was a lot of waste

Fantastic food. Chips were crisp and soft on the inside, the burger felt juicy and full of flavour and the donner meat is always soft abit spiced and tasty. 10/10

Order was placed at 4.40pm. Called after 6.00pm and asked where our food was? We were told that it had just left and would be with us soon. No food arrived. Called back at 7.00pm and were asked how we ordered the food? Told them it was through the app. They apologised and stated that they are on it now first thing? We were already told that it was out for delivery! Shocking service, to be fair it’s been hit and miss for years. I live in Kirriemuir and the choices here are limited. If this was Dundee these guys would not last five minutes. The customer service is utterly abysmal. Go to Forfar, order from somewhere else but if you order from here you will be damn lucky to get any food at all.

Food ordered 7:45pm. Not arrived by 9:50pm so phoned curriemuir. They said it had just been sent for delivery. Pizzas were burned black with wrong ingredients. Phoned back to say about missing ingredients or wrong pizzas etc. Said they would send correct pizza. Still waiting after 2 days on correct order.

Ordered online and the food arrived in quick timing. It was so quick tonight. The service was outstanding with delivery and the food we ordered arrived as it should do,hot great portion sizes and as we asked for it sauces etc. It was a great takeaway tonight from you guys Keep up the good work curriemuir staff tonight and guaranteed that the majority of the customers tonight will be back very soon for more. Very enjoyable meal. Only downside was the poppadoms were a bit soft.

Estimated delivery time tonight was between 1hr-1hr and 30 mins. 1hr and 45 mins later it arrived. Taking into consideration the weather and being very busy, even still, for less than a 10 min drive this time was unacceptable. The estimated time before hitting the order button 35-55 mins. This should be considered when allowing orders to come through and accepting them. We would have also been more accepting of the above factors if the food was to standard. I called 1hr and 30 mins after ordering. The gentleman who answered was both polite and apologetic, then proceeded to state the order had just left and was on its way. Both the curry and the calzone ordered arrived warm, not hot. Was carelessly made, lacked attention to detail, and not the typical size of portions used to. Flavour wise, sloppy, imbalanced. On this occasion, disappointed. Standard should never fall due to how busy, but seems to be the norm with takeaways. If too busy to deliver in a reasonable time, and too busy to care about the food a paying customer eats, pump the breaks and slow orders until regrouped. Otherwise, trust is lost, customers disappointed, and the whole thing just feels like a money train. Have ordered a few times from here, service pleasant and food okay, but with a bit more care could be really good I feel. The intention of this review is hopefully constructive. Only the second time trying here. Ordered £40 worth of food, sent a notification at 6.40 to say it was ready, presumably to avoid just eat knowing it wasn't and then expected to wait another 30 mins, finally received the order at 7.15 Got home to find no rice even though it states rice is included, poppadoms so old I could have folded them like a paper plane and flown them back to you. Shame because the rest of the order was ok. Understandably busy but disappointing meal

I don't eat meat but do eat fish and seafood so I was really looking forward to my prawn puri and king prawn main course. I was gutted to discover that the prawn puri had chicken pieces instead of prawns. That completely ruined my meal. The quality of the food is great, the service is great but you can't swap chicken for prawns. I'm afraid that's brought my service score right down.

Ordered donar and Shish, however received donar and chicken tikka. Food was cold so had to microwave before I ate, was just so hungry choose to eat instead of return.

I ordered Mix Grill, I thought it said 2 Pitta Breads came with it?….Didn’t get any so I apologise if I read it wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ordered at 6pm - given a 35-55 minute delivery time - didn't arrive until 2 hours later. Wouldn't expect to wait 2hrs in a shop or restaurant for a mixed grill and breaded Chicken. Mushroom Bhaji was missing, Chicken Maryland dry and tough - probably from being an hour under lamps. Donner kebab stone cold. No idea what the reason for the 2 hour wait was but delivery order should be treated with the same priority as any other - not like 2nd class customers - plus try and go canny with the spices - I donlt expect yoghurt Riati to be as hot and inedible as vindaloo

Not only was it over an hour late but half of the takeaway was cold, no "extra" on the baked potato and we didn't get our drinks.

Food was average. One of the orders was wrong. We got a chicken gravy instead of lamb😕

Really lovely food, but we seemed to be charged twice for delivery? We selected the option listed on the menu for the area we were staying, and then were also charged the standard delivery fee. Surely £7 delivery isn't correct?

Ordered large dinner kebab and when arrived and opened it was stone cold. we have never had any problems with food being cold from here before but tonight was disappointing to order food and pay but recieve it cold. such a shame as every order we have had recently has been so good but tonight failed to please again sorry.

Fries were burnt … chicken strips were disgusting ( coming from a child ) and very little chicken in the kebab which was ordered with onions peppers & mushrooms , it was just a standard kebab , never ordering again very expensive for inadequate food

Ordered vegetable samosas and they gave me lamb samosas- without informing me. I’m a vegetarian and so disgusted that they made they change on purpose and failed to consider allergies / dietary requirements. No apology either. Disgusting.

Twice I’ve ordered and twice wrong thing delivered . Yes they want to please and send replacements after you call but whats going wrong here? You order your specifics online and what you order isn’t what’s delivered !!! Get your ordering system sorted because your foods nice n tasty . Second delivery not what I ordered either , delivery blamed the chef problems !!

Wasn’t bothered about food being late! However if it says 1/2 a chicken I expect 1/2 chicken so that is a wing, a breast, a thigh and a drumstick. Not a breast and a wing simple. The food however tasted great!
