Euphrates in Angus

Holiday maker, staying a couple of nights. We Really struggled to find somewhere to eat at 4.15pm on a Saturday afternoon. Both myself and my husband weren’t overly hungry so wanted a smaller meal. Hubby spotted the snack meals on the menu so he chose lamb Bhuna with chips and I chose chicken bhuna with rice each dish was just £6. I decided to get a pashwari Nan to go with our meals which was £4 altogether the bill was £16 The staff were lovely and friendly and everything was cooked fresh to order but only took 15 minutes which I though was great. Being a snack menu we were expecting a small portion but oh my goodness were we wrong! My chicken pieces were huge as were the hubbies lamb pieces, the flavours in the bhuna were out of this world and the peshwari nan finished the taste combinations perfect. If ever we’re up this way again we will defo eat from here again.

Over priced for mediocre food and a could care less attitude. Delivery driver was nice but Carnoustie has other better take aways with nice service and tasty produce.

Utter garbage, delivery a timer of over an hour and it took 2 hours to come, and I called the place, they said 10 minutes, was actually 20 and the driver who's not necessarily at fault, does not apologise on behalf of the cooks, or offer some discount, I actually felt like turning him away with the hot food

Sick to death of late delivery’s. Just Eat quotes an estimated time and it’s never remotely close. Staff uninterested and give the usual “ it’s just getting packed ready for delivery”.

After last Saturday's rubbish curry from a Monifieth Indian takeaway we went back to Euphrates and got the same curries at half the price and ten time better to the taste. The Monifieth one was inedible due to the amount of chilli in it but last night's curry was excellent. Full of flavour and just right with the spices. Will definitely be going back again.

If I could have given a lower review, i would have! Ordered food over the phone and when I got home to realise that certain things were not there I was met with cheek and made to feel foolish. Would highly recommend not going there.

On checking reviews there was a few good and not so good but best to judge for yourself I think. Well portion sizes was correct by review but as for taste both the madras and Rogan Josh was tasteless. Nan bread very tuff to chew and chips over done. So that was my first and last time I will be in that shop. Back to the Ganges for me.😆🍷

Ordered spicy chicken pizza and could have fed it to the grandson so mild and lacking their curries are average but their pizzas are s**te

Staff and food amazing. Service was first class. Even gave the wee man a lollipop while we waited. Could not fault them. Thanks we will see you again soon

Meal for 2 would feed a family of four, lovely tasting and all the extras to go with it, good value for money X X

Late night carry out meals ordered while on a golfing visit. Ordered from the comprehensive menu and food delivered to our location at Carnoustie Golf Club house. Massive portion size of shish kebab but considering late at night it hit the spot. Very efficient delivery and food piping hot. Highly recommend if your needing a late night meal.

Took home a chicken tikka kebab with rice and a pashweri nan bread, looking forward to it but unfortunately it was bland chicken tough , rice watery and nan bread doughy so won't be going back. Ugg

Been to this take away loads off times and personally must be the best kebab shop I have ever been in,my wife had a donner kebabs and I had a curry for under £15 the hole meal was so tasty will deffo be back thanks guys

Brilliant kebabs, fresh succulant chicken and lamb with a nice spicy sauce. Pizzas are good and curries are ok too.

Dropped in here for a take away meal and fond it has excellent Kebabs with all the trimmings , seasons and spiced to perection and a very large portion size , staff were friendly and polite to A fault

First time here as we were at the Dunhill Cup on the Sat 7th. Excellent set meal for 2 with large portions and great chicken pakoras. A pity you’re too far from Dundee for delivery:-(

The guys are always cheerful and efficient and the quality of the produce is there to be seen. Most of the Turkish dishes are served with pitta bread and a large salad, but you can mix and match easily and the chips are good, staying...

At first sight thot it was just the village grill renamed but can Say food a lot better and still very hot on arrival wen delivered ....a massive improvement on the last outlet that was there ...hope they can keep up the standards
