Its a nice wee place but if its sunny its often far too hot in the cafe, food is decent and reasonably priced and the coffee is good.

Really nice place for food. Portions were much bigger than expected, great value for money as well. Good selection of cakes, drinks, filled rolls, hot food. Despite being busy, staff didn’t seem stressed out or rushing, lovely and chilled atmosphere. Food came out in good time despite how busy it was. Waitress serving us was polite and helpful. Definitely visit again

Sat in for coffee and cake, then ordered a takeaway lunch. Loads of space and quick service - chuffed that they offered dairy free alternatives.

The owner is really a nice person

Up there with the best breakfast in angus.

Why curry with boiled potato or chips. Should have rice but this is not on the menu.

Great variety on menu. Lovely big open restaurant with huge car park. Sometimes visit for breakfast on a Sunday. Highly recommend 👌.

Not been here in a long long time. Place was busy on a Thursday lunch time. Was one table in one out. Menu is simple and reasonable compared to anywhere else. Still it tastes good and staff are nice and polite. Will be back

Fab place and staff very friendly

Not only did we attend the set up if a wedding here we also had dinner... The steak pie is to die for and their burgers... Amazing... Freda is one hell of a character and sure to give you a giggle..

With a coach load of 31 we got served very quick, fortunately they had been told in advance of our arrival

Excellent food ,price and atmosphere

Avoid if on coach tour. Only take basic orders no cooked foods. Farce actually even though stopped for an hour! Pricey menu for what you get... in fact turn people away whenever a coach arrives.

We went for breakfast a morning and it was very busy. The staff were rushing about so not as attentive as normal

Went in for coffee and bacon roll,never got our rolls waited for 30mins,while other people who were in after us got their food

Utterly rude staff. Left without buying anything. Lunchtime and place was almost empty. I now know why.

Just popped in we had steak pie always but something different about the steak not the usual steak grizzly not very nice so that something i will not be having again

No sign on the door saying ANYTHING about dogs. Walked in, woman came out from the back and BELLOWED across the room, “no, we don’t allow dogs in here”. Wasn’t interested in letting us order to go. Utterly obnoxious and confrontational attitude. No wonder the car park is empty. Get rid of the tall blonde woman and you might get some custom.

Staff are very pleasant and the coffee is very good. Very clean inside and out.

I had a beautiful Sweet Potato and Chilli Soup to start and a pretty good Mac and Cheese for the Main. Very friendly staff and quite reasonably priced. Great location just on the outskirts of Arbroath towards Montrose. Plenty of space to park the lorry too.

Good long running multi function meeting place (parties, funerals etc.) With good catering.

Nice place loads of space just called in for a cake and a cuppa when passing when on holiday staff really nice, cakes all home made .

Hate queuing so love the new order at table system. Food was good - although portions could be larger for the prices asked.

Brilliant cafe to take my elderly mother. She likes everything plain and they cater perfectly for her. Spacious and great friendly staff. Macaroni cheese is amazing!

Pleasant restaurant/coffee area with a nice selection of food and soft drinks. Half portions available on some dishes. Pleasant staff and safety in place. Good to get out and about.

Tables s bit confusing whether covid "ready " but food good. Perhaps staff need to mark tables as ready to ease confusion. However I will go again to the restaurant. Since that visit it is now table service with the staff directing you to a ready table. Much much better and the food still good!

We popped in at 3pm to get a bite to eat. The place was open, clean, and the staff attentive. We were given a menu and we both opted for Chicken Tikka Masala. We were not impressed. No rice, chips were the side, a few small pieces of diced chicken and some very watery sauce. It was well cooked but to be honest it will not be a place we will be revisiting at any time soon.

Been several times in the last year. Now our café stop of choice when cycling in that area. Good service, grub suits us, cheap 'n' cheerful. Seats outside are handy in these Covid times, weather permitting.

Plenty of restaurant and parking room. Dropped in for coffee and teacake. Garden Centre next door, but no time to check it out. Pleasant enough, and obviously popular for those in the know.
