The best restaurants in Arbroath West and Letham Angus Central Scotland

Came with my wife for lunch to try the new menu and the club is also now open to non-members. Sat in the bar area with lovely views over the course, service was friendly and efficient and the food was fantastic. Good value too.

Terrible, don't go unless you don't mind it being dirty and leaving smelling like a chip pan. The picnic table, bench, floor, skirting boards were filthy and there was a blue haze around open plan kitchen. Extractor fans were not in use, we left reeking of fat. Our meals were terrible and the server looked like she'd just walked in off the streets, leggings in socks, trainers and a black hoody. When it originally opened,2020, it had so much promise.

We were there for a wake. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Had a large family BBQ at home. Collected the strawberries as 9.30. Absolutely delicious! Everyone commented on them. I contacted East Scryne beforehand and customer service was prompt and helpful. Would highly recommend! Perfect dessert served with cream and meringues.

Always order over the phone and pick up as easiest, ordered chips, chicken fried rice, curry sauce, portion of salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper chicken balls. 1. Chips were crispy and not soggy, also were hot so bonus 2. Chicken fried rice wasn’t stodgy and had plenty soy sauce in:) Was very tasty 3. Salt and pepper chicken was good, crispy but could’ve had a bit more flavour 4. Salt and pepper chicken balls are 10/10

Gorgeous rolls as always! Cannot fault, I particularly recommend their crispy chilli chicken filling with coleslaw, and bacon and egg roll

First time trying this chippy and had a pizza donnor meat and chicken tikka pizza wow the meat so fresh and best donnor ive tried in the town was we bit spicy tho the base but amazin cant wait to try more stuff and was so cheap aswell defo worth a try yum

This takeaway meal we got tonight was the worst meal ever chips looked as if the had been reheated, salt n pepper ribs were burnt to the bone, and the chicken curry was the worst ever, definitely wouldn’t use this shop again 😡

Had a hot chocolate & a fruit scone today. The scone was nice but the hot chocolate was the worst I’ve ever had. It was watery I think it was made with water not milk. For the price I would have expected better.

Attached to the Forfar Golf Driving Range, this cafe/restaurant is always busy and, for some reason, despite it being carpeted, is usually quite noisy! The menu is fairly standard with filled rolls, sandwiches, paninis, soup, baked potatoes etc. Prices are reasonable and the service is usually very good. It is light and airy due to the large windows at one end. I like it in part, as I can see the rural house I grew up in from it in the distance.

Always good. Love their chicken, specially the zinger burger.

I was at KFC across the street getting a tower zinger burger. I’m sure McDonald’s is lovely. Spectacular on the way in, inversely spectacular on the way out. Thank you Morgan Spurlock 😊

Just ordered the munchy box and I had to leave a review the delivery was fast the food the best I've had in a long time I will definitely be ordering again and will recommend you to everyone

2nd time in 3 weeks I get the wrong order from the drive through!! Also had to sit and wait in car park AGAIN. I stay 7 miles away so can’t just pop back to rectify this. Looks like 2 of us will be going hungry again. Really bad service

We have not been to a KFC for some time. We had difficulty understanding the menu and talking to the young man who took our order as he did not speak loudly and clearly above the background noise. We ended up paying for much more than intended, which we realised when we received the order Both the chicken and the chips were overcooked and not nearly as crisp as we expected.
