McDonald's in Angus

I was at KFC across the street getting a tower zinger burger. I’m sure McDonald’s is lovely. Spectacular on the way in, inversely spectacular on the way out. Thank you Morgan Spurlock 😊

There was two people at the first window that were very rude giggling while I ordered, decided to talk while I was waiting to pay and only opened the window when they decided to finish their own conversation. This is so rude and unprofessional of the staff to do something like this.

Clean, friendly staff. Always a breeze, making it cold inside.

Order menu never seems to issue receipts. Slow service even when empty. Majority of the staff miserable faced

My partner ordered food through the McDonald’s app to collect at drive thru he got told to park up he was sat waiting for his food for 45 minutes then he went in got no apology and they stuck the food on when he went in and said, so over an hour at McDonald’s for a simple order, service is shocking. Worst McDonald’s I’ve been too

Do not order a mcdelivery later on. Uber eats accepts orders they have no intention of delivering. Ordered at 11pm, advised would be half hour, latest delivery would be 12:05 but that time came and went, updated over and over until I got delivery estimated 12:53, call up and they said the delivery stops at 12. No apology from MacDonalds or Uber eats. Zero customer service and no intention of bettering their service as who cares if people get let down, there are enough people ordering to keep them busy

Nice clean, very well run place. Colleagues are very welcoming. There must be an award given to the manager. 🏆

Very poor service when it comes to ordering at the counter. Certain members of staff just looking at you knowing that you are waiting and ignore you. Young member of staff (Molly) was really helpful and apologetic.

It’s the best fast food restaurant I’ve been to but sometimes they mess up a plain burger

Very slow service for drive through

When I was told to wait for my food from the drive through, the Lady that was coming out to give the food to people waiting, gave my order to the wrong car and therefore I had to wait longer as she had gone back in and told her colleagues that I was no where to be seen in the waiting area, so when I went back round to the drive through to ask about my order they had said I was no where to be seen and that my order was cancelled 😡 absolute joke honestly get well good pay at McDonald’s and yet service is awful!!!

Well kept mcdonalds, used a few times while out pub crawling, usual food & reasonably priced ☆☆☆☆☆

Ideal when babysitting always a hit

As always its busy place, but service is spot on.

I ordered a McRib at the drive in and when I got home and opened the bag there were chicken nuggets in it instead of a McRib...I was very disappointed and unfortunately couldn't drive all the way back to exchange it.

Great store, always have a great visit. Staff are brilliant.

Fizzy juice the last few visits have been terrible, ordered coke, got tasteless fizzy water, juice dispenser obviously run out of flavour or being ignored. Can't remember a time when a mcflurry actually got mixed from this mcdonalds. Burgers and chips are good 👍, staff are friendly. Update: 09.10.24 juice flat again, machine must be faulty and not making customers aware

Its Macdonalds. You know what to expect. Shame the UK outlets are so shabby in comparison to across Europe.

Very helpful positive staff encouraged us to be seated and noted table to carry our selections to us.informed us to help with further selections

Is alright. Can get really busy and at times you do need to keep an eye out for colder stuff coming out of the kitchen but they do replace it with fresher goods on demand.

I was having. A nice meal with my friend and then some worker come up and acusses us of vaping she must of been bored to come over and falsely accuse customers of vaping in McDonald’s some people are terrible try to put misfortune on others and find it funnny to try get people kicked out of McDonald’s

If managers helped the staff instead of shouting at them to speed up service would've been better and faster that was on the evening of Thursday 29th August 24'

Be more shocked if they managed to get all the items right 2 orders in a row from their app, today they exceeded themself with no drink no sauces and as per normal no straw, which thankfully wasn't needed anyway as the drink was missing! And no formal way to complain on the APP either.

Absolutely shocking time from ordering to actually getting food and no milkshakes available won't be hurrying back

Far superior to the McDonald's branch on The Kingsway in Dundee near Asda. Food is better prepared, it is served a lot warmer and the service is far superior, although the interaction from staff is virtually non existant

Alright mcodonalds in person, the staff are friendly, wait times are usually decent, but the delivery service is terrible, every time I've ordered, at least one thing has been wrong or missing. On one occasion, an entire meal was missed. Today, the entire order was cancelled without explanation.

Why is it that ten minutes after ordering, the number is shown as ready and to be picked up, but you stand at the counter for another ten minutes and wait for the order to be prepared, watching other orders being picked up, and you just stand there, creating inconvenience for others and yourself? Why do you do this?!

Placed an order on the mcdonalds app, eventually contacted the store an hour later, the very shockingly rude supervisor answered my querie.. "we're actually shut right now, your money will go.back.in tomorrow" then puts the phone down. Absalooutly appalling customer service, you need to get staff that cate mcd! Shame on you!! Do not.plave any orders with these guys no help!

Nice and kind staff but they always forget something on my order either small fries or a cookie always disappointing when I have to go back for it

As a delightful date for me and my significant other it was not what I thought, having said that the food was adequate for the price. Although the ketchup is rather a trial with the dry cleaners. My Armani suit will never be the same.

Awful customer service, received the wrong burger, can't eat red meat, called the store and got a very unhelpful young girl. We didn't order through uber eats but had to call their customer service, to only get a refund and no food. You'd think the store would send the correct order. Chips were also rock hard and inedible, there's no way the food was freshly made even though it took no time at all to come as it wouldn't of been that cold, burger wasn't even lukewarm. I've driven home from McDonald's myself, no insulated bag and it's been warmer when I got home. Edited to add in no way was this the deliveries fault, assume it was Uber as had to call them, doesn't actually say this on the app, cannot believe McDonald's making mistakes and not taking the flack or fixing orders, if it was in store they would so why not with a delivery?

3 visits in a row there has been no ice available, 2 out of the 3 times the dips were missing from the order, and 3 out of the last 5 times I have ordered a strawberry milkshake it has came as a plain milkshake with no flavour added. This branch of McDonald's is consistently poor. Update: Still poor. Orders still missing items. This time missing the fries as part of 1 meal ordered.

The atmosphere is because we went trough the drive thru but overall it was amazing.

Despite being busy as it was a sunny day, everything was quick and efficient. It was a bit too crowded inside so I sat out at one of the tables.

Clean and tidy, food served pretty quickly and was hot. Staff efficient and order correct. Parking decent

We stopped at lunchtime for something to eat , it was busy but service was good and faster than expected , after we left my friend realised she had left her purse at the restaurant, we phoned and the purse had been found , as we were travelling and didn't get back to collect it till later we were happy to get it back , it had her bank card other cards and cash when she left it A big thank you to the staff and whoever found it we got it back and everything was still in the purse , A thank you to the staff that helped us .

It’s a fairly typical McDonald’s so not a massive amount to report. It’s well situated and while busy at peak times service is fairly quick. One big gripe I have with this branch is the amount of fries they give you in a “large” meal. Like, I only get large for the extra fries so it’s infuriating when you get a big box with essentially the same amount as a medium. Never had a problem with the quality of the food. If we can just get the fry situation sorted we might be onto something. Until then, I’m back to sticking with KFC.

This is my local Mcdonalds. The food is good , but not as fast these days due to the endless orders being done for deliveries, still. It's clean and service good. They also have a drive-through ..Not best located as on a busy junction and at a set of traffic lights.

McDonalds Arbroath is consistently one of the better McDonalds restaurants, as evidenced by how busy it often is. Food is always well-prepared and properly hot, drinks always flavourful.

It's a McDonalds, it has the usual food on sale, the food that was made for us was fresh and hot, the latte was a bit strong and tasted more like perculated coffee.

Quick fast food. Can be quite buzy at times when sitting in. Drive thru is non stop. Nice comfortable place too chill and enjoy your meal.

No milkshakes again...useless 0 stars

There's never milkshake when I go and rowdy teenagers that sat beside me at my table.

Absolute shambles of a McDonalds - must be one of the worst McDonalds Restaurants in Scotland - the polar opposite of fast-food

McDonald 's Arbroath the first I have been in since they remodeled it inside and out had a chicken and bacon grilled wrap and a tea was lovely so enjoyed it

Large McDonald's with a drive thru, good sized eating area and they have plugs to charge your phone which is very handy. They have an order counter as well as self service, you can either collect or get table service.

Haven't had any problem with this McDonald's until now sadly - hubby had a big Mac and was unwell the rest of the night! It has put him off burgers!

Great for quick service when in a rush, or to sit in with the kids x cleaner than a lot of the other Macdonald's I've been in too.

They are very rude they didn’t add my sauces that I asked for and treated me as staff are no Supportive to my disabled son

Told me drive thru was closed and I was to go inside but when I went inside I was told system was down and to wait 15-20 minutes coulda just said it at drive thru instead of wasting time

Just purely the worst McDonalds in Angus and Tayside, orders are forever wrong or got bits missing staff are more interested in standing talking behind the counter than actually doing anything, they’re rude and discourteous especially if you try to explain your order being wrong or not complete. Restaurant dining area and restrooms are at best usable the dining area isn’t the cleanest and the male restrooms often have a heavy scent of stale urine urinals out of order due to whatever reason one click and collect bay which even if you order in advance wait in excess of 10 minutes the drive thru is laughable the staff are always putting the wrong items through or give you the wrong change parked order waiting is beneath standard and even when they write you reg down still manage to give the wrong orders out, there is nothing positive I can honestly think of about this restaurant other than the hope of new management who enforce rules and policies and ensure staff performed to standard I’d sooner drive to Dundee Dobbies much much better service that can’t even be compared to this joke of a store
