Trouble on the app, the girl at the window sorted it out. The food was very good.

This place was just recently refurbished but wasn't very well thought through. Everyone crammed into 1 tight area for ordering and waiting. Was better laid out before. Just use the drive through or order at table.

Fast efficient service. Helpful and friendly staff

Always gets orders wrong for us anyway and there is stuff always missing from our order

Generally its ok although I had an experience at the drive through about a month ago when I was asked at the drive through by a male voice asking me "what do you want" rather than "welcome to McDonald's, what can I get you" greeting. I was quite taken aback by this and never thought to mention it at the window🤦 The door ordered are mostly on point although I've had wrong orders in the past here but because it's the drive through we go to, we so t realise until we have driven away. Most of the staff are on point but there are some that I think need some more training in customer service. EDIT** this was at the Elgin McDonald's and not the forfar one.

Drive through order it's unfortunate that each time we have visited something is always unavailable. I've never yet managed to get an iced latte there.

Very very slow to serve inside customers drive through are definitely priority. No one at the till to help with a query so waiting ages for assistance. The food was fine a little cold especially the chips I think because it has been sat waiting for someone to serve it.

I went for an interview last Saturday asked to sit down and wait. 20 mins later (sitting like a numpty) to be told that the interviewer had gone home sick and would call before tuesday to reschedule! Well guess what they never called! Why waste my time and invite me in? - obviously I'm far toooo old to work there!!!!

Typical bog standard McDonalds. Nothing special. Nothing bad. Like them all, it's hit or a miss if the chips are hot. It's bright & right next to the A90, so it's also handy. But whatever you do, don't use the place for an extended comfort break because if you're over 90 minutes, you'll get hit for a parking charge from PCUK.

New setup with the machine ordering only is ridiculous. What was wrong with the previous system. All this is is a way to maximise profits with lower staffing. Some people were waiting 20 minutes for their order. Found the burgers tasted like plastic

Took 1st Fochabers Cubs for tea onroute to a large camp, the staff were fantastic and very helpful making sure ever was happy and fed

Called in on the way back lto home. The food quickly arrived and was very good. The restaurant and its facilities were very clean. Good restaurant to call 8n at.

A very busy McDonald’s constantly has a queue of cars. My last visit the queue was moving fast but after ordering was asked to park and wait for my food. 20 minutes later and still nothing. So looks quiet but not. The car park is too small, there were cars stuck everywhere.

This branch is getting worse....1230am.... Appears to be turning into a local youth club and waited 20 minutes on a coffee!

Drive threw is a nightmare having to go park and wait everytime, why not stop taking orders untill you have caught up!

Nuggets were yummy and the leftovers tasted even better cold on the way back. Desserts were delicious too.

Well I ordered a sausage and egg mcmuffing I got egg only and it was disgusting it made me very ill

They were chucking buns as I could see and then they dropped my milkshake this is terrible.

I come to Macdonald's for the Coffee but I always need to be served at the desk so I can order an extra shot. It is always busy here and the car park is kept clean

If you like a long wait this is the McDonald's for you, ordered a triple cheeseburger, it took 15 minutes to get it, I've seen quicker sloths!!...

Went through drive through for a coffee and a mc chicken sandwich from the saver menu. Got the coffee ok but the mcchicken sandwich was just the bun and the chicken!! No mayo no lettuce .... no good!!

Good food. A bit dirty. Not too busy. Will be back here

Food is as good as you'd expect from McDonalds. No major outliers as far as criticisms. Drive thru mistook smarties mcflurry and gave skittles. Food that i was given was alright though

Another visit here, and although they now have separate accomodation for the Uber Eats drivers to collect, the service is still a bit rubbish. Yet again the Milkshakes and McFlurries were "temporarily unavailable" which seems to be a common occurrence at this branch, compared to others. Swapping to other items didn't help, as suddenly apple pies and brownies also became unavailable. Result - disappointed kids.

Ordered bi mac meal,burger was tiny and no onions ,no mayonnaise, no barbecue on roll,burger was dry and tastless.

The best chocolate milkshake I've had from McDonald's in a long time, it actually tasted like chocolate and the fries just hit different today.

Be warned. If you hate ordering at a faceless machine this is not the place for you. One till available for the magic of human interaction in addition to 4 order screens. Mcdonalds need to be aware that dyslexia or other impairments should be catered for a little better. Stressful to use at busy times

Disappointing, the fries cold and portion smaller than other McDonald's franchises. Milkshakes mean on the flavouring too. Best to wait until you are in Dundee to have much better food.

Order wrong every time, dirty looks, windows slammed, zero manners, zero smiles then you get left in carpark for 48minutes waiting for a happymeal. Won't be back, too stressful and way too long for a drive thru

This McDonald's branch has very much gone down hill. The past few times we have been the food has been very poor chips undercooked and order wrong with missing condiments everytime. Complained numerous times about food and just had replaced with no explanation, flagged for a regional manager to contact me weeks ago now and still had no phone call about the ongoing issues in this restaurant. Avoid at all costs go to a proper restaurant who does better food.

Service has changed since refurb, food looks like its thrown together and always a wait at the drive through. Considering the price increase of mcdonalds, its not even a cheap and cheerful place to eat any more

This place is normally lovely to visit, but today i experienced a whole different situation, my friend orders a chicken mayo takes 25 MINUTES to come she asks after 15 minutes where it is she gets laughed at and told that it’s coming.Then when it finally arivves it comes inside out. The mayo was on the OUTSIDE aswell as the LETTUCE. Is it that hard to put a chicken mayo together

I wish the food was hot so you can take time to eat and enjoy it however it doesn't matter what McDonald's you visit it's more often cold before you get it, I'm sick and tired of taking cold chips back and asking for fresh ones. It's not a pleasure eating cold chips and cold burgers.

Horrendous! Ordered a "MCDELIVERY". 6 meals for the family as a treat. When the order arrived we discovered only drinks had been sent. When we spoke to driver he claimed that was all he was given. We then phone the restaurant and were asked if we could come and collect which on this particular we could not, we were then told that there was nothing that could be done and we'd have to attempt to get a refund for the missing items. We are still waiting and can take up to 15 day. JOKE

Found this fast food place rather unfriendly. I used the board to order, no receipt with my food order number on it asked about it to be told my number. Service rather slow, but customers orders after mine wad served first

Simple but much needed refresh stop Burgers freshly made and spot on

Visited about a month ago and the printers weren't working and the first stall in the new ladies loo was full of poop and wouldn't flush. Today the printers still aren't working and the offending stall was locked shut 😕

Waited over 20 minutes for food. Nobody at the desk and there was a queue of about 12 to 15 people also waiting and wondering where their food was. Just eat and drive through seem to take priority here.

Wish I never went, ignorant people parked in disabled spots without badges while waiting for their food, this included food delivery people.

Ordered at drive through then told to park up and had to wait ten minutes only to be served a cold burger and raw chips the staff at this site just can't cope

This may be just me but I prefer to go into the restaurant to order (let's me use the toilet too) I find that, not just this restaurant but most of the McDonald's now appear to favour drive through and Deliveries over in store customers resulting in long wait times. I also feel that the oil used to cook in has either been changed to a different type/make or they are leaving longer between changing oils as there is a definite taste from the oils on the food.

Our 1st visit to this refurbished restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the place spotless.

It's McDonald's. The only thing was that all the forginers standing waiting on deliveries talking in their mother tongue It's a bit intimidating a big crowd of Black and Asian Gentleman having a meeting and looking at you like you shouldn't be there

Generally the atmosphere was good. However a child around the age of 10 launched his full fruit shoot juice drink at full force and it hit the back of my partner's head. Has he not been sitting where he was it would have hit me straight in face, potentially breaking nose or knocking out teeth. When the family left we noticed that the woman held both hands of the child so that he couldn't hit out at folk sitting around restaurant. The staff at McDonalds were advised and they knew of the family. I suggest that they are seated in a quieter area if they are to go in to the restaurant and the adults with them are advised to sit across from child, blocking the route where someone can be injured by juice bottles that could be launched. The child wasn't disciplined for his action. All I heard the woman saying was I take it you don't want that then.

Good place for a bite to eat when heading North or South. Can be really busy at peak times but there's always KFC and the Dunichen Stone restaurant next door. There's space to park HGVs nearby at the Shell Services or in the industrial estate. I like how it's 24 hours, if I've had a long day and everywhere else is shut, I know I can get some grub here. 👍

Stopped off for a cappuccino en route to Aberdeen. Should have been the most simple order - instead of a nice fresh hot cappuccino got almost cold white americano - not the first time had a bad experience here - will need to choose another pit stop in future

Never be back here again went to drive in bit for coffee ,hot chocolate and big stack meal and big mac meal , got home with it ,clowns got all the order right except big mac ,they gave me a mcplant ,couldnt be bothered going 5 miles bk ,defo wont ever be back as few times now these clowns throw any food in quickness in your order ,the people that work here need to learn what the customer asks for they should have got not what they throw in who the hell wants a plastic mcplant 🤮 in the first place ........

Order on macdonalds app tonight. Ordered delay for an hour got food stone cold. Mcflurry melted. When tried to complain macdonalds app said take up with uber . Uber says cause it was delivered on time it does not matter that food cold. When tried to phone forfar. No one answered. Terrible service. Don't order with app or food will be sitting there till picked up.

Ordered on uber eats and Got 4 meals from this McDonald's and they forgot all the fries with the meals so phoned back wanting my fries all I got was its uber eats fault even though its them who pack it wouldn't order from this McDonald's

Spent at least 20 mins waiting on our food, I could see that they prioritized customers who used the drive through or had the workers bring out the food to them. The hot chocolate we received was more like hot water with a hint of chocolate.

Caramel pie was like a furnace put my finger on it and it almost got burt off

used McDelivery, order arrived with items missing and no straws, No contact number to advise of short items, ended up going to restaurant, received missing items and straws, but advised they do not deliver straws , how do you drink a milk shake with no straws, no compensation for having to drive to restaurant and collect missing items, Very poor , wont be using mc delivery again.

Same as any other good place to stop on a long journey.

The serving area is very bland with no menu board. The only board is small and located at the entrance which blocks customers getting in. Not every customer can use the app to view menu's 😒
