Ordered a pizza and couple curries from shaks. Well the pizza was delectable and curries were fresh, flavourful and appetizing. Staff was polite. Cravings definitely got satisfied. Keep up the good work guys!

Chill atmosphere quality fast pace service given i when at 21.05pm Monday night but the donner meat is out standing tbf as far as I am aware the place is a total God/Allah SEND i recommend this place far and wide i will always take out with this place while in arbroath

All i will see the best chicken doner/shawama i have ever had. Must try the hot habibi. Burgers were amazing too. Excellent addition Arbroath food scene.

Food was delicious tonight. Tikka mas was nice and creamy with plenty of chicken. Also burgers far the best in town they are like in house made smash burgers unlike most places serving ready made. Surely the best Indian in town.

Got a Meal for two . Both curries were amazing and portion were massive also ordered a chicken tikka masala pizza which was nice and fresh. My new favourite in Arbroath.

Ordered meal for two. every thing was good specially the lamb bhuna. Lamb was very tender and good quality. Mrs like the Tikka masala too Excellent portions Good value for money.

Amazing food. I had chicken shawarma wrap which was possibly the best I had reminded me of one I had on holidays in Turkey. Korma was good too. Defo recommend it. Keep up the good work.

Yet another take away who started off great to lure in customers. Ordered two pizzas, ham was a frozen lunch meat which smells.. or tastes out of date. Donner pizza was a very tasty naan bread with a twist - a few burned crispy dry pieces of donner meat. 🙄 Chicken shawarma portions have reduced by half but still tasted very good. Overall I would rather get an average take away than tempt my fate and hope for the best.. £30 I Will never get back.

Lamb kebab was diabolical and inedible. Pizza was greasy too. It's a NO from us.

had the curry deal for 2, chicken korma and chicken tikka. paid extra for garlic nan, was completely burnt and inedible. korma was like lentil soup and chicken had a frozen chicken taste. won’t use again. tikka was okay.

Ordered and told 30 minutes over 2 hours late food arrived not the best phone after 1.5 hours to say cancel order as heading out still waiting to hear if I get a refund definitely won’t use again

Ordered couple weeks ago food was pretty good, ordered pizza now and just received possibly the worst takeaway pizza ive had. Picture on the app was the complete opposite of what was received. Base was more like a biscuit it was so hard, either stale or freshly defrosted, looked like toppings were applied with grid system and was extremely rationed. Wholly very disappointing and probably won't be back. At least it turned up when it said it would which is still better than longer established venues around town.

Sorry the food quality is very poor. The tandori mixed starter. Chicken tikka not cooked through, Kofte bland and anemic. Rest of meat chicken/lamb substandard. Reminiscent of frozen chicken fillets from a frozen food shop. Not sure any of the meat had seen a tandoor let alone cooked in it. Dips...?? Cheap and tasteless. Chips again cheapest frozen type. . Korma sauce not seen any coconut, curry or anything to flavour it. Only the naan bread was any good. Definitely will not ordee again. £3.50 delivery - pfft. For the cost, the meal/quality should be so much better.

Been on the hunt for a proper good curry in Arbroath and think we've found it with the reburb here and new owners! Absolutely delicious curries, best we have had in Arbroath for sure and we have tried everywhere in hunt of a reliable regular curry (will need to try again to make sure it stays consistent!). We had an executive meal for 2 with garlic korma (an actual noticeable garlic flavour balanced with the korma spices), tikka massala, and upgraded to peshwari naan. All packed with flavour, good portion of meat and food was piping hot when we collected. Mixed pakora that came with the set meal was also really good, had a healthy amount of chicken pakora as well as veg and onion bhaji, sauces and spiced onions also really flavourful - little details like that made it overall utterly delicious meal. Customer service was also really good as when we collected they offered a free can of juice as the food was still a couple minutes away from being ready. Will definitely be trying again and hopefully will stay the same high standard!

Ordered for first time. Had korma and butter chicken Both were delicious. Delivered on time. Piping hot with a free naan aswell. Was excellent. Friendly driver, 5 🌟

Ordered two margarita pizzas, told it would be ready to collect in 25 mins. 55 mins later they were ready. The guy serving told my wife they might need finished off in the microwave at home! They looked wet, soggy and under cooked so I took them back to complain, they confessed in their native language and handed money back without explanation. Such as shame as their curry’s are great but I’ll defo not be back after that customer service.

I am very dissatisfied with my meal. It took 1.5 hour to arrive and when it did it was very cold. The mazedar curry was very watery and I had paid extra for king prawn but was provided with only a few very small prawns throughout the curry. The nan bread was supposed to be cheese but had no cheese on it and was just plain. The pizza was very dry and not enjoyable. For nearly £30 pound it was highly disappointing.

I wish I could rate this experience lower than one star. Where do I even begin? The delivery time was absurdly long, and by the time the food arrived, it could have been used as an ice pack. The dish was colder than a polar bear's vacation spot. The main course resembled the Sahara desert—dry, tasteless, and more arid than sand. To make matters worse, the bread accompanying it could only be described as a relic from ancient times—stale, tough, and completely inedible. But wait, there's more! Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, the grand finale was a performance of food poisoning. Bravo! I haven't felt this sick since... ever. If you're into subpar service, frozen meals, and a side of gastrointestinal distress, this place is your golden ticket. For the rest of humanity, steer clear. It's not worth the risk, the wait, or the misery.

Ordered from here before and was great. Tonight it was absolutely horrendous. Pizza was average. Large kebab wasn't that large and the kebab was freezing cold and tiny little shavings. Chips were soggy and also stone cold. Ordered a chilli sauce which was alot more waterery than usual and also ordered yogurt sauce which had split and got binned. Waste of £20.

My order was late, and not very hot, tasty enough but better if a lot hotter.

Very disappointed first time I’ve tried this takeaway. The first bit of chicken pakora was chewy gristle. The samosa was lamb which I don’t like. The potato fritter was soggy and greasy. Vegetable pakora was ok as were onion rings. The main meal chicken pathia was very chewy chicken with a bitter but bland sauce. Naan bread was ok. I will definitely not use this takeaway again

Food was ready and waiting at the specified time. Good quality was okay… the curry had a funny taste as if it was cooked in a rusty pot. However, the food was very hot.

Almost 1 hour late. 2 hours altogether. phoned 5 times and was told it was almost there each time. Asked them to phone driver when they are coming and they never phoned back. Asked to speak to manager and was told no and he has other customers. Didn't care about an unhappy customer. I asked for a refund since it is taking too long and if the food has been in the car for 1 hour it would be cold and told me no. They were so rude. When it eventually arrived the driver said he only got the order 10 minutes ago instead of 1. They have lied all the way from the start. Food eventually came and there was mayo on the burger when specifically asked no mayonnaise so the burger wasn't eaten. My curry sauce was only half full in the container and was awful. They didn't care and still refused to do anything and to give refund. Please avoid.

Very tasty food, I tried some things I had never tried in other restaurants before so can't really compare but they were great. Big portions, saved plenty for meals to take to work!

If I order food for 8.30 I dont want it at 7.45. This is the second time I've had a delivery way earlier than I asked for. You ask for a time for a reason

The food was horrendous. Chips look like they had been cooked so many times that they had no potato left in them, coleslaw didn’t even look like it had mayo. Food totally cold. Not to mention that the chicken burger was literally a bit of cheap breaded chicken on a roll with no salad or sauce. The roll didn’t even have butter on it. Won’t be ordering again

Really poor food,wanted to chat to the shop manager not to rant just wanted to know if he finds it fair he sends food out the door to someone paying good money for cold food,got no phone call back left my number with the shop, this is terrible service and the manager should take a look and want a lot better standards for this company very poor from him

Worst delivery service I have ever had, took over 2 hours for delivery even after enquiring after the hour, got told it was out for delivery every time I phoned, When it eventually turned up it was Stone cold, so i refused it and wanted a refund. I will never use again.

So ordered a meal said on app it would be delivered between 6 and 615. No sign of it. Its now 1900. There delivery is a joke won't be ordering from them again.

Korma was completely tasteless, naan was tasteless soft dough, lamb tasted weird. This place used to be decent last time I ordered from here, this is the last time though as after a few mouthfuls it went in the bin.

Just to echo some of the other reviews. Got a set meal which was very bland ,sauce was very thin . Will not be going back .

Got two calzonies from them a chicken tikka and a mixed both of us came down with a touch of food poisoning won't ever go there again

Called for a delivery. Guy on the phone sounded fed up wasn't happy. A few communications went back and forward with my simple order. Finally got delivery from a nice happy person. Food wasn't good at all. Garlic sauce was like water and the chicken pakora was over cooked and so dry i couldn't eat it.

So sorry but service dreadful delivery took too long and food not up to scratch plus missing items from our order … will not be back

Pizza 🍕 is excellent, burgers are disgusting. 🍔 These are inedible, skinny, limp and taste rank.

mum ordered a hyderabadi kurma with poppadoms. Probably one of the most disappointing dishes I've had. The sauce was watered down to the point of being tasteless, whilst the poppadoms had obviously been left out for some time. Never again!

Went in to get a pizza and waited half a hour just to watch them drop it as it came oot the oven. So had to wait another 15 mins. Fair enough accidents happen.🙄 Next Ordered a kebab and had a bit of plastic in it. Looked like a corner of a bag that had been bit aff the Pizza was suppose to be a chicken madras and they delivered a chicken n mushroom. Rude service when called back to let them know. They also wanted the chicken n mushroom pizza back for some reason. 😆 I'd just go make a fish finger sandwich if I was you. 😁

Ordered a king size donner and was charged £7.50, an absolute disgrace, was more like a small donner kebab, was a regular customer but will never be back. Don’t know if it’s new owners but won’t be going back again.

Over 2 hours wait and came cold

Ordered family feast with pizza chicken nuggets chips for the kids to share along with our donner and chicken tikka hoagie wraps Order came quickly but looking at the chicken nuggets there was green on them! Opened them up to find it was cheese and jalapeño in them-called for them to say they ran out of nuggets so they gave us them instead! Kids couldn’t eat them! Too hot! The garlic bread was greasy, pizza had no taste, chips were rank and the hoagies weren’t nice atal. Defo won’t be back as it wasn’t cheap! Hungry kids and unhappy mum & dad 😩

Absoloute disaster... ordered at 18.12 last night quite simple order.. 2 kebabs... order arrived it was wrong sent chips cheese and done when called at 7pm to let them no its wrong in told them about a cheese allergy to be told well scrape the cheese off then.... I said no.. new order sent at 8.25 over hour n half late and was wrong again... eventually 9.10 they sent right order with kebab meat that looked like rubber and was over cooked rude service awful food.

Called at 17.05 and made an order , called back at 6pm and was told it was on its way . Called again at 6.30pm and was told it was on its way ! Finally arrived and they put chicken pakora in with the veg pakora that we had ordered . Called them and told them that we are vegetarians and thats why we ordered veg pakora and could not eat what was sent out . Its now 8pm and still waiting on the veg pakora!. Pathetic service and the food lack flavour . I will never go back there again

Cant complain at all. Came to our rescue at 11:59pm. Massive portions and great taste.

Would give you better rating but you keep getting order wrong. I put in order notes for jalapenos on pizza but only once in last 5 orders that have had them. Tonight no surprise, missing AGAIN and pizza & chips were quite cold so had to heat in microwave. Think I will give it a miss for a wee while and try somewhere else.

Shocking service ,Ordered Online 18.45 for collection at 19.20, stood in waiting in the Shop until 20.45!! Absolutely ridiculous. No communication from the guys in the shop made it worse. Ran out of popadums which we had ordered 4. Get food at 20.45 get home and Nann bread is missing!! Don’t usually do a review but this service was truly horrendous and I will not be using them again.

Not really sure why when ordering online you ask what time you’d like it for I have now been sitting outside for over an hour after the time to be collected with my 2 yr old son! If your too busy why have this on your website!

Tried to order with two different bank cards, said it declined every time I order however took money out of both accounts. Phoned and asked what had happened and they were rude and blunt and said this happens to everyone. 2 hours later and still not received money back because of there faulty app.

Don't use their app. Takes your payment but doesn't give them your order and they won't do anything about it. Happened the 2 x we have ordered now and they said payment would be returned but it wasn't the first time (thankfully that time they fulfilled the order after phoning) so this 2nd time they won't fulfil the order and we know we won't get the payment back so we will have to contact the bank for a refund/charge back.

Tried first time while visiting St Andrew and Dundee. Found very fresh and testy food. Portion was also big as expected. Will definitely order again when back again in this area.

Was delighted when Kohenoor arrived in Arbroath! Curries were tasty and the prices undercut everything in the town. Had my last one tonight. Gradually the food has become tasteless and watery. Lacks depth of flavour, and the rich flavour has long gone. Will be going elsewhere in future. Goodbye Kohenoor, you had your chance!

Bit of a disaster to be honest. Order took twenty minutes later than advised (collection) and I had to go back because they had missed part of my order. Delivery driver was shouting at the people behind the counter telling them to get a grip and the Kurma tasted of nothing. Literally nothing. Do they not taste test stuff? New management don't seem to know what they're doing and food quality has taken a nose dive. Won't be back.
