I had high hopes for this place, and boy was I disappointed. I went with a few friends for brunch which we were all really looking forward to, a few other people came in moments after us and their order was taken almost straight away however for us it was a different story - we waiting 25 mins, and after still not having ordered drinks we decided to up and leave. A great choice made by as considering a couple who had came just after us were already tucking into their meal. Wouldn’t be back, and won’t recommend to anyone. This place isn’t central so the fact we made our way to here with such high hopes to be filled with disappointment was quite frustrating - there’s many other places I would recommend around town.

Cannot believe this gem is hiding in plain sight in Arbroath. Great value and delicious!!! Really nice menu choices and picked up a nice bag of coffee to take away too. They leave out the used (washed out!) big tins of tomatoes they use: really cool to repurpose! Kids loved their own pizzas, which are a great size. Will be back!

We came on a Saturday evening and booked ahead. Out table was not ready when we arrived and the waitresses seemed uninterested. Before we eventually caught a waitresses eye to let her know we had arrived she shrugged and said ' I dunno' and then proceeded to ask another waitress who went ' oh yeah' and told us to follow her to table. She just plonked two menus down onto a table with two places set for us and carried on walking to the kitchen. No engagement, nothing!! It went from bad to worse service wise I'm afraid. It seemed like the two waitresses who were on duty were a little bit overwhelmed and maybe having a tough shift ... But still! We waited an hour and 15 minutes for our mains, however, we were deep in conversation and enjoying each others company so didn't mind that too much l. I prefer to wait rather than food before rushed out. The food was lovely, freshly cooked and tasty. No complaints with the food - just the service, which left a lot to be desired. I hope you can rectify this, as this is the only thing in my opinion that lets the place down, as the other businesses in this area have shown us exceptional customer service during our stay in Arbroath.

My wife and I have been regulars of the friockhiem community hub and Heatherheim for a few years now. The staff put on great child friendly activities to keep the kids entertained throughout the holidays such as baking classes, cinema nights and disco's. We often go to the Heatherheim cafe for lunch as well as teas and coffee from the barista machine. The food and drink looks and tastes great aswell as very reasonably prices they also have an ice cream counter with a large selection to choose from with different toppings. Bouncy castle sessions can be booked online aswell as the sensory room for the younger kids. A fully equipped gym is available for a monthly subscription of £20 it has all the equipment you need for a cardio workout or weight / resistance training. My daughter also attends dance classes held in the big hall weekly. The reception are also has an Evri drop off and collect point for parcels that's very handy. There are a number of office space available for hire meetings etc. we had our daughters birthday at the hub and chose a jungle animal theme that matched the hubs bouncy caste. They have various options when it comes to party's and can taylor for all party sizes with or without catering.
