The best restaurants in Moira Lisburn South Eastern NI

I had the pleasure of dining at Origin 101 for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration. The ambience was absolutely charming, the food superb, the waitstaff very professional and Kelsey, the proprietor very welcome and accommodating. If only I lived in Moira, I would return often. As it was, I asked her to consider opening a second location in Connecticut. One can only hope.

Carthago is a gem. Food is fabulous. Fresh. Different. Beautifully cooked. Thoroughly recommended. Visit, you will not regret it.

Such a fab restaurant! So cool to see the chefs at work and staff very friendly and nice. Food was exceptional no starter pictures here as we were so impressed by them we eat them right away we couldn’t wait! Menu is so fun and different you can see thought was put into each and every dish. Cannot wait to be back. See you soon!

Closed without warning. Reserved a table online for father's day and received a confirmation email. Arrive to find the place closed with no sign, no explanation, and no attempt made to contact me. Now having to find a last minute table on a very busy Sunday.

Friendly staff who made you feel welcomed and who went out of their way to accommodate you. Will certainly return. It is nice to be nice and often it doesn't take much.

Popped in for lunch and it was absolutely delicious! We had the Eggs Benny with hog ham & Eggs Royal with salmon, both for 11£. Portion size was perfect. The service was lovely and attentive and the food arrived quickly. Well definitely be back!

Loved this place! Amazing value for money and really tasty food. Really nice family run feel and service was great. Will hopefully visit again should we be passing through. Top class :-)

Popped in for light lunch with workmate. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Ordered baked potato and toastie. Impressed with the quality of the food. Proper home cooked ham and nicely dressed plates with salad leaves, coleslaw and crisps. Coffees were good and we both felt it was worth another visit when needing lunch in Moira again. Seemed to have a good selection of scones and tray bakes also. Price was reasonable for quality of food. 👍

We enjoyed yet another meal at Pretty Marys Moira tonight. The meals arrived hot to say it was really good is an understatement. Service was excellent nothing was a bother both bar staff and table staff couldn't have done any more. Thank you for making my daughters 40th birthday a success.

Ordered the gluten free steak sandwich it looked absolutely delicious but to my disappointment the steak was tuff, the knife wouldn’t even cut through it, waiter was very unfriendly! £19 for a sandwich that was un edible

Waited 45 minutes and orders after mine were getting done. A simple Christmas chip. How hard can it be to follow the ordering process. Seems very. They did offer to start making mine after that. Too late. Got refunded and went to another chip shop that was happy to serve. Never again. Worse service ever

When we arrived we saw one of the staff strewn about the arm of a chair upstairs like he lived there, then they gave us the wrong food (with a substitution we were not told about before it being presented to us). This wouldn't be a big deal had they not just shrugged when told neither of us would have ordered if this were the case. The highchair was also completely covered in muck and unusable. Grim enough trip for the lack of care and cost. Staff could do with a retrain.
