Origin 101 in Lisburn

Absolutely blown away with the quality of food on offer at this quaint and charming little restaurant. Just had dinner there and every aspect of the food was simply outstanding. so flavoursome and exceptionally well presented. I can honestly say one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Many thanks to the waiting staff as well, brilliant service and thank you for recommending the lemon posset, what a beautiful dessert. Honestly can’t wait to visit again. If you’re looking for somewhere special to dine, Origin is definitely the place.

Small cosy restaurant by night, busy coffee shop by day. Great food and service and BYO welcome. ( charge was listed at £5 but was waived) Delighted to see steak tartare as a starter which is not so common these days and then had the veg dish to follow (roasted carrot) - both superb with a great attention to detail in complex flavours and presentation

Visited for lunch. Lovely decor. Efficient, friendly service. Starter of beef rib croquette in a spicy sauce was epic, could have eaten many bowls of them. Will definitely return

Just had one of the best meals ever. Food absolutely deeeeelicious . Staff were lovely . We got our booking changed to come earlier as we wanted to get home for the Ireland Scotland match but next time we will stay a lot longer. A great find , don’t know why we haven’t been here before. What a wonderful restaurant. Exceptional food, in extraordinarily quaint surroundings, with the highest standard of service. What more could we wish for!

One word... outstanding!! Satay chicken spring roll for starter & duck for main course.. if I'd been at home, I would've licked my plate. Booked lunch for the following week before I left! Not sure who the chefs are but I applaud you! Waiting staff were super & decor beautiful 😍

Go here regularly. Another fantastic experience last night. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the service is perfect and of course the food is second to none! The prices are not cheap, but reflect the quality of the food so I have no problems paying them. It does help that you bring your own alcohol. Can't wait to go back. Do book well in advance, it's a popular wee restaurant.

We are regulars here and the food and service is top-class every single time. We take visitors and friends here, all of whom rave about the food. It is the very best that NI has to offer and we are so lucky to have it on our doorstep! Can't recommend highly enough!

This little bistro is an absolute treasure in the village of Moira. A top class chef and his partner serving fabulously creative and varied menu …with a fine dining twist on Christmas favourites. Lovely atmosphere with superb service and very affordable with a BYO option. Origin 101 is a must visit!

Having moved to Dromore just over a year ago and still finding our way, we recently discovered the delights of the Moira High St, and decided to book ourselves in to 101 as a little treat to celebrate the end (or at least a short break) in a period of healthy living - and what a treat. The starters were pretty near perfect - beautifully cooked and presented scallops with creamy cauliflower puree (my partner) and potted duck for me - followed by a festive turkey and ham (partner) and perfectly cooked venison with salt baked beetroot and a rich fermented blueberry sauce - both pronounced divine! I also provide a special mention for service which was above and beyond. So the only reason I'm giving this 4 rather than 5 stars is because the dessert was a bit of a letdown (or maybe a lesson that we shouldn't have been so greedy). Although my partners sticky toffee pudding was proclaimed delicious, it was still a bit too heavy after the previous courses, and I really didn't like my cheesecake (and I am a cheesecake fan), which was way too heavy (almost as much base as topping) and lacked any finesse (the ginger and honey tones were almost completely lost). However it is a very good excuse to come back (we definitely will) and aim for 5 stars!

Visited with my wife and sister in law, who lives in Moira, and on her recommendation. A top choice, lots of choice on the menu, I was recommended the Brisket burger which was gorgeous. Pulled pork bun and Scampi made up everyone else’s order. All agreed how good it was, can’t wait to come back and try something else, but I’ll find it hard to change my first choice as the burger was so good.

HAd heard good reports, so decided to stop. Have to say Covid precautions were excellent. Track and trace before being shown to the table. The food order was taken and confirmed. Tea arrived before the meal. The food was fresh and tasty.

Highly recommend the sourdough cheese toasties! Absolutely delicious. We also bought the Mother's Day box of pastries. Such a lovely selection. Can’t wait to enjoy these later. Toasties didn’t last long enough to take a picture! Excellent quality take away food.
