Had a delicious meal, everyone loved their food and the staff were so pleasant, there was a Moroccan dancer and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be going back.

Can’t thank Isobel and her daughter for a fabulous afternoon celebrating my husbands birthday. Food delicious - made with passion and tasting fantastic. Rustic nature of the restaurant makes it and ideal place to have a cosy meal.

We recently went for dinner at the occasion of event with friends and had such an amazing experience. I really liked the ambience and decor, loved the concept of providing authentic and fresh food. The staff was very attentive, helpful and caring. Excellent service from Sabah I had the best lamb tagine in a very long time and everything to a reasonable price. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a great meal,cartagho is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back soon! By the way I loved the Tunisian sweet highly recommended it

Phoned and booked a table for four a week before last night. Table confirmed and we travelled form Greenisland, picking up another couple in Belfast and looking forward to a night out in Carthago after it had been recommended. Table was booked for 7 pm and when we arrived at 6-45 place was closed. Telephoned and was told a 'piece of machinery' was broken and they would not be opening. Unbelievable......Such poor customer service.....

We were in N Ireland visiting family and they took us to this restaurant they love. The service was good and the food tasted great. This was my first time at an authentic Tunisian restaurant and would love to go back!

Visiting friends in Northern Ireland who introduced me to this absolute gem of a restaurant. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere and warm welcoming service. Better than any restaurant in Los Angeles where I now live and on par with North African restaurants in Paris where I lived for many years.

Lovely place. Lots to like. Starters, dips, bread all excellent. Chicken fingers and (surprisingly) the Brie highlights from starters for me. Mains were good, very generous with amount of seafood and lamb on our respective dishes. Could maybe do with a touch more seasoning and finesse but satisfactory. Overall an excellent experience and decent value for the amount of food. Server (chef's daughter I believe) was excellent also, warm, friendly and informative. BYOB too which is a bonus (hint:if drinking beer, bring large bottles as corkage is per bottle)

The better half and me had a great time in Cathargo on Sat evening (01.07.23). The food was tasty, the ambience really nice and also nice to bring your own selected bottle of vino with it being a BYO. Had a good laugh with lady owner. If you want a wee piece of Tunisia in Moira give it a shout. Recommend.

Amazing meal last night! From the delicious calamari starter, the wonderful fresh homemade flatbread and hummus and our mains of the fresh sea bass panee and my husbands lamb dish done in the tagine, great portion sizes, wonderful service from the young lady looking after us last night and very fair prices - we had a really nice evening out ... So glad to see that they do takeaway as well - this wonderful little restaurant with the ever changing fresh menu selection has moved to the #1 spot for takeaway meals Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Such a lovely restaurant I have never tried Tunisian but I wouldn't hesitate to go again food was fresh , authentic, flavoursome well presented and staff friendly helpful informative . Highly recommend this restaurant

Delighted to have a North African Tunisian Restaurant close to home. Just what Moira needed. We have too many chinese & Indian. Carhago brings something different. Staff are so lovely the food is absolutely delicious, & the Decor amazing. I feel as if I'm in on holiday.

Lamb dish flavour very underwhelming, portion size small very expensive for what was served.
