Would have been better not to see some GAA or football tops in bar to encourage all to attend.

Loving and friendly staff & very good food at reasonable prices

Came across Lily's on way to drop a mate at the airport - what a find! The Wagyu burgers were amazing, great value and the staff are a delight.

Previously just had my first visit here, the food and service was great. The bar area looked like a nice wee spot. Would definitely recommend :)

A review to express my disappointment regarding our recent dining experience at your establishment. Having made a reservation online mid-week for a family meal, we were looking forward to enjoying the ambiance of the main restaurant. However, upon arrival, our experience was far from seamless. In the first instance, the waitress directed us to the bar area, informing us that our table was located there. Once we arrived at the bar, the bar staff then redirected us back to the restaurant, creating unnecessary confusion. It became apparent that there was a complete lack of organisation in managing reservations and guest seating. After this back-and-forth, we were eventually informed that our table was indeed in the bar area because the main restaurant was fully booked. While I understand that seating arrangements depend on availability, it would have been far more considerate to inform us in advance that our reservation would not be within the main dining space. Had this been communicated at the time of booking or even prior to our arrival, we could have made an informed decision about whether to proceed with our reservation or explore alternative options. As the bar area did not provide the same dining ambiance we had expected when making our reservation, we ultimately decided to leave and dine elsewhere. This was disappointing, as we had planned our visit in advance, only to find that our expectations were not met due to poor communication and lack of clarity regarding seating arrangements. I strongly suggest that in the future, customers be notified at the time of booking if their table is allocated outside the main dining area to ensure transparency and better manage expectations. Additionally, improving communication between staff members would help avoid unnecessary confusion upon arrival.

Found this wee gem by chance yesterday and when I say we hit the jackpot we absolutely did, from the warm welcome we recieved to the food 😍 (which was stunning), to the atmosphere it was all a solid 10/10 and even the very playlist was a 10/10, can't wait to go back, see you all soon 🥰

Had breakfast at lily's this morning, what can I say, it was cooked to perfection!The service and staff were second to none, was seated next to the log burner, what more could you possibly ask for!!,will definitely be back, (just might make it a bad habit)!!,excellent!!

Had lunch today and it was delicious, very friendly staff lovely atmosphere was very cosy and warm with the fire burning what more could you ask for will return again

Ended our valentines day out with a romantic dinner here and it hit expectations we had great service and amazing food. Hubby got the wagyu beef burger and it was delicious. The only let down we had was that we ordered dessert to go and they put the ice cream on them which melted in the car as we had a fair drive, but other than that we would recommend.

Really enjoyed the Sunday carvery. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Great experience.

Just had the Temptation Tuesday/Thursday special. 2 Pizza s 2 pint's and a portion of chicken wings for £30. Pizza s were great with plenty of toppings, kids loved the wings and the pint's are always good at #lilyskitchen&bar.

Wonderful village pub with great service and fantastic food very welcoming and lovely open fire.

Cracking spot this. I found it randomly as my daughter has football training nearby on Tuesday nights and I needed somewhere to eat/hang out. Brilliant service, great atmosphere (always packed) and food is v good too.

Excellent drinks and food. Friendly and attentive staff and went out of their way to help me find my way back to my bnb as I was passing thru. I know where I'm going next time I'm passing thru.

Extremely slow service,even having to wait for a scoop of ice cream for my Autistic child who doesn’t understand and then they brought strawberry ice cream which he couldn’t recognise because it was pink when we asked for vanilla , far too loud and queues were atrocious, teenagers planting drinks on the table in silence without asking who ordered which diink. Too expensive for a terrible meal and awful meal,absolutely ruined my entire birthday with my family I’ll definitely be recommending anyone I talk to NOT to go there I can give my details,name etc if needed Horrible experience

I had the pepper chicken and unfortunately all i could taste was salt and very little pepper. Chicken was very tender and mash potato was beautiful

Very good food, pub atmosphere. Service a little long. It is best to book in advance.

We liked the food, but we were unlucky in that there was a private party in another part of the premises and it took them 45 minutes to bring it to us.

On the way back to the airport and came across Lilys . Lovely busy place and comprehensive menu . Very impressed with the allergen information on the menus . Our roasts of the day arrived and were presented well / hot and tasty . My only shock was the table next to us ordered fish and chips and his wife a roast , 10 mins later we watched the bar man return with a box clearly from the chip shop opposite!! The man actually commented when the food came and the reply was owww we ran out ! Lets hope no one became ill from such a silly decision!

5⭐️ looking forward to going again. Meal was fantastic with several fantastic staff looking after us. Guinness was perfect! Only downside is I couldn't tip on my card I'll need to leave a big tip next time 😅

Very busy for the Sunday carvery, and they fit a LOT of people into that place! But the carvery itself....winner winner! It was unreal, I didn't know whether to eat or or climb it. The pic doesn't do it justice! Was in a food coma for about 4hours after it. The deserts are meh! Will be back for that carvery!

We have been here a few times for breakfast food was really good but has went downhill latley not so good now.

Plenty of food but veg wasn't great, sweet was ok starters were great. Unfortunately my mother in law is disabled and was seated down stairs from the carvery so had to carry hers aswell as waitress was to helpful.

Lovely little spot with great parking. Food was delicious unfortunately they were quite short staffed but those who were there did the best they could, wouldn't fault them at all. Food was lovely enough.

This is our bar, food is always good. Great spot if your looking somewhere nice to meet for lunch.

Food and staff are absolutely amazing hard to beat

Called in on a Saturday at 1pm for something to eat and was told that they are not talking walk ins today. Because of the staffing crisis. As I looked round the bar I seen 3 staff behind the bar and 3 customers one of which was a toddler.

It was my first time here & I had the carvery which was beautiful. The meats were so tender & great portion sizes. The cocktail I had was well made in the correct sized glass as most places tend to make a passion fruit martini in a small glass. The service was also very good & I would highly recommend

First time here. Relaxing atmosphere. Staff welcoming and very friendly. Menu had a great choice. Food was excellent,very tasty and prices are reasonable. Great experience. Small village with a hidden gem. Will definitely go back.

Had a delicious carvery, from start to finish. My compliments to the chef also the staff very friendly and very helpful. Been before will be again.

My daughter had chicken pasta and the quality was shocking. The chicken had the consequence and flavour of reconstituted chicken, the sauce from a barge sauce bought in a shop. Since being taken over the food standard has dropped enormously. Please save your money and buy a low cost ready meal. It will taste better. From regular visitors to never again. Shocking sadly.

Myself and my friend were in Lily’s today 17th April for lunch. I must say the food was delicious. Very good portions and everything hot. We had desserts too which were so good. The staff were very efficient, and the bar had a lovely feel about it. It is a very cosy bar with an open fire. Really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back.

Service very fast and efficient , food tasty, enjoyable. Carvery very good and plentiful but, fish and chips ,today was scampi, for the price very few scampi, they were very tasty but i have been to other restaurants and got the same meal for the same price but almost double the amount of scampi. This is the only down side for this establishment

We did not have a good experience and will not be back. This restaurant has a policy that does not allow you to split a bill using different cards, though don't disclose. The bartender was extremely rude and basically told us we should have been prepared and able to sort it out ourselves. Allegedly the owner wants to reduce the number of credit cards being used (fee avoidance??). What would have been a nice evening was completely ruined with the way the young bartender treated us and the ridiculousness of this establishment policy. The lasagna was awful, the salmon better. On a side note, the young lady who was our waitress was very nice and gave us good service.

Excellent breakfast. Nice atmosphere, lovely fire on a cold morning. Staff so friendly and on the ball re what we needed as a family. Would highly recommend for a Saturday morning treat.

My wife and I dined here today 25/01/24 absolutely beautiful. Staff so friendly. Food very very reasonable please give this gem of a place a try if your passing by Glenavy you certainly won't be disappointed.Big open fire was blazing aswell. Thank you team lily. We will be back.

Lovely restaurant. Food is delicious. I had the Chicken Caeser Salad and it was amazing. Big pieces of chicken and bacon. The croutons were garlicky and crunchy. Can't believe a salad filled me but that one did. Highly recommend it!

Walked in without booking we were offered a table immediately. Excellent service I have eaten a good number of meals from menu and can definitely recommend anything from their menu.

We had just gotten off the ferry from Liverpool and seen our new house. Lily's was a beacon in the dark, great coffee, breakfast and service. Seeing as it will be at least a week before our house is unpacked enough to be useful, we will be back many times next week and for years to come! Sam and Kevin

Its Our first time in Irland and the first Lunch we got at Lilys Kitchen &Bar. The stuff was really friendly and we had a nice chat with them. The food was amazing! We got fish and Chips, a really Lage portion so you should be hungry when you want to order this. My boyfriend got a lilys Cheesesteak and that was the best he has ever tasted. Fresh and tasty and we recommend this beautiful Restaurant. And we got the hint that we can order Guinness without Alkohol! It is the same Taste and now we can both get the Taste of a great Guinness and we can still drive! Thanks for the great experience!

Honey Chilli chicken beautiful, but scampi very disappointing, hard to find any scampi inside very overdone batter, worst scampi ever, didn't want to send it back as you never know!!

Came here on holiday. On our way back to Dublin. We stayed at Caldhame House B&B. Recommended we eat there. It was great! Food was excellent. Atmosphere was great.Super nice people. Highly recommend coming here.
