Great staff and food choice. Cosy too. Went to watch the rugby and ordered some small plates to share.

Lovely relaxing meal in the library section. Very pleasant helpful staff. As we were meeting family we sat for a couple of hours and no one made us feel uncomfortable. Thank you

Ordered the gluten free steak sandwich it looked absolutely delicious but to my disappointment the steak was tuff, the knife wouldn’t even cut through it, waiter was very unfriendly! £19 for a sandwich that was un edible

Having had a very poor experience here during its time as The Still House I had not gone back, but was keen to try it under new ownership. Things do seem to have got better but still lots of room for improvement. On the upside the staff are very pleasant - but don't seem to have been given enough training. Starters were good but they made an error bringing our mains - getting one of the orders wrong. It's one of those things that can happen but there wasn't much in the way of an apology. The order was still wrong on the final bill and when this was pointed out there again wasn't any kind of acknowledgement or apology. When our first round of drinks were cleared away we weren't asked if we wanted another, and didn't have the opportunity to ask before the waitress was gone. The diners at the table next to us were also told that there were no clean teaspoons available, so were given a knife to stir their coffee. First time I've ever come across that in a pub or restaurant. The mains themselves were a bit of a mixed bag - the turkey and ham was good but the chicken tikka, while fine, felt a couple of pounds overpriced. Definitely an improvement on The Still House, and great to see the old name back, but there are clearly still some issues with management and staff training. Won't be rushing back but will give it another go at some point in the future to see if things have improved further.

Awful. Turkey Ham dinners came with cranberry sauce on them one friend had to eat around it , one tiny cube of a carrot veg we barely could see roast potatoes hard as brick, ham like rubber & turkey so dry worst Turkey Ham dinner we have ever tasted . Table was booked & we could hardly move our elbows out shocking altogether. 1st time & really we will never be back .

Usually I do like to find at least one thing to complain about ... but The Four Trees (aka The Stillhouse) in Moira didn't give me the chance! The atmosphere is genuine cosy Irish Pub, the service was friendly and attentive and the food - my wife and I each had the Beer Battered Scampi as main and shared the Apple Crumble with Custard & Ice Cream - was well presented, looked good and tasted even better - well done lads, keep it up 👍

If I could add one more I would. Kindness quality atmosphere…. What more could you ask for?

Disappointing visit to the 4 trees. Food was well below average. Chicken burger cooked to within an inch of its life. Roast chicken dinner with the smallest bit of chicken, luke warm and no mash. Service also less than you would expect.

Fabulous food - incredibly tasty. Best so far I've had in the week I've spent touring NI. The flax seed fed rump is really good.

The menu had lots of great options, more elevated pub food which is reflected in the menu. All the food we ordered was delicious, it was hard to pick what to go for. The service received was top notch, we were very well looked after by our waiter and the atmosphere was great. It's got Victorian pub feel which is very authentic. Will definitely be back for food again.

Fantastic night for my daughter's birthday. wonderful food and great service.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Where do I even begin? The service was extremely poor. The restaurant was very busy, and unfortunately, we were seated right next to the bar. This meant it was not only incredibly loud, but there was also constant foot traffic with people bumping into us. When we asked for a quieter table, we were told there were none available, which was understandable. However, the service that followed was unacceptable. It took an unreasonably long time for anyone to come over to us then it was a considerable wait between ordering our drinks then them finally arriving. The delay in taking and serving our food order was just as bad, if not worse. And when the food finally arrived, it was a complete letdown. The pasta dish I ordered was inedible. I had requested garlic bread with the meal and was instead served wheaten bread with garlic butter, which was odd, to say the least, it was clearly left over wheaten bread from the soup which. But the worst part was the pasta itself—it was so overcooked that the texture was just awful. When the server eventually came to clear our plates, I mentioned that I hadn’t eaten the pasta because it was terrible. They offered to take it off the bill but only removed 50%, which, in my opinion, was inadequate given that the dish was completely untouched. We settled the rest of the bill and left, but this will definitely be our last visit to The Stillhouse. From start to finish, the entire experience was dreadful. I would not recommend this place at all.

Been at a wedding. The staff are amazing, cannot do enough for you. Food was delicious & Sean & his team had everything well organised. Ran like clockwork. Highly recommend for events & parties.

Just had lunch in here, firstly it's a lovely beer garden for a pint and the staff are friendly and helpful but the food was a huge disappointment. Kids portions were tiny, genuinely about 8 or 9 fries on their plates. The veggie burger was a frozen one with pretty much no effort put into it. The plating up didn't even seem to have any effort put into it. Good for a drink but eat somewhere else

I would not recommend! I attended a function here this evening of approximately 30 people. Firstly the waitress serving my drink spilt it on my jeans and offered me a wet tissue to clean myself up. I was wet and uncomfortable as a result. No recompense was offered for my ruined jeans. I had pre-ordered from the Gluten Free menu. Halloumi fries to start. What I got was grilled halloumi, not what was stated on the menu. I ordered the steak burger for my main course. It arrived with a bap that could have been bounced of the floor. There was a side of soggy frozen chips, no coleslaw (as stated the menu) and not even a salad leaf on the plate. It was so disappointing. My friends ordered dessert. The strawberry shortcake biscuit could not be eaten as the shortcake was so hard it was inedible. The sticky toffee pudding was dry. The room the noisy partly to do with us but also there was another party downstairs and the noise travelled upstairs, also it seemed that the background music just got louder and louder.The service was poor, so slow. I had finished my main course before my friends had even been served. I will not be returning, £28 for two courses neither of which were enjoyable or as stated on the set menu. Disappointing.

Waited for food for 50 minutes. Staff are aloof. Seems understaffed.

Stopped off on our way back from the airport for our tea. My friend ordered the steak sandwich medium with garlic chips and I ordered the pasta. Apart from having to wait for over an hour for our food to arrive, after asking the waitress where it was, when it arrived my friends streak sandwich was cremated on a small piece of bread no top and no garnish and the chips you could of broke a tooth eating. The carbonarra pasta was freezing and there was egg Yolk floating at the bottom of the bowl. We both left the table and told the staff we haven't touch out food and that we would not be paying. I'm really surprised at this restaurant. They need to take a good look at their kitchen and floor staff!

4 of us were in today and had a lovely steak each, beer garden out the back too. Brilliant afternoon in Moira.

Great Guinness and large portions of yummy food

The Guinness slipped down a treat. Had the 10oz steak which I must say was cooked to perfection for me. There was not a bit of seasoning needed on any element on the plate. And the bushmills peppercorn sauce I can't say enough how much I think it was the best I have ever had. I could of even drank a bucket full of it. 100% can't recommend enough. Hope it's not too long before I am back over so I can visit again!

Fantastic Sunday lunch today. Ham shank with all the trimmings. Desserts were gorgeous. Staff very attentive.

We got vouchers for christmas so went for sunday lunch The sweet potatoe coconut and chilli soup was beautiful for starter I had the roast chicken dinner . I love my roast potatoes. I struggled to cut into the potato which ,when i did ,had no potatoe inside and just deflated into a crisp . You really need to work in your roasties chef. But the rest of the meal was very nice. The service excellent

Took this Mrs out for “nice meal” to watch the grand national, got sweet potato soup for starter which was decent, I had the “steak sandwich” which is no sandwhich as I didn’t get the top part off my sandwhich I asked the waiter where was the top part off my sandwhich he said that’s the way the kitchen makes it, Mrs had steak and Guinness pie she really enjoyed then when I asked for the bill I had 2 Guinness had just happened to sneak they’re way onto my bill that I didn’t consume. Used to really like here. Went downhill big time NOT BE BACK

We were served by Lilly and Sean, and both were excellent. Great food, great setting. Well worth a visit. I will be back. I highly recommend the pork cheeks.

I’ve had to change my review- gave an awful 1 star about a year ago. Have slowly spent more time here (mainly for garden/courtyard and to watch sport). Came for dinner here on Sunday and it was class. Service great and food excellent. Much improved!

Was here on Wednesday past for a business / meal. Food was nice, warm and delicious.

A great local bar and restaurant with very good food and service. Been for meals with friends & family and food is great (particularly rate the Jacobs ladder - fine dining at pub grub prices). However I feel it’s caught between being a restaurant and sports bar.. I think would be far better if kept the main restaurant for diners and then have the barn open all weekend as a sports bar. An example, last weekend the Barn was open for the rugby and football with a large screen and great atmosphere for those wanting sports.. this weekend it was closed and just a few tv’s with no commentary in the main restaurant/bar.. therefore we went elsewhere. Overall really recommend for a nice meal, but until it’s clear when the barn is open I would suggest elsewhere for sports fans.

Had lunch on Saturday 24th with 2 friends visiting from Scotland, we had a good meal and some alcoholic drinks, we were asked to leave the table in around an hour or so we moved to another and had another drink, we were then asked to move again in around 30 minutes, we did look at each other uncomfortably, but that wasn't the end of it , at our third seat which was a small round table we were once again asked to move, I couldn't help make comment to the waitress, as there was nowhere for 3 people to sit and have a drink all the tables were reserved for food, so we stood in the way along a thin ledge feeling very awkward, no thought for the customers who was having a drink, my friend did say we were like second class, I did say it's normally like this they need to decide what they are as at the moment its not somewhere you would recommend for a drink

It was our sons 30th Birthday celebrations there were 35+ attending.The venue itself was lovely the problem was the food. It was finger foods at £15 per head the sausages were tough and dried out garlic bread was like a brick couldn't eat it.Chicken drummers were also tough and over cooked the chips were small and greasy. I had to ask the female bar tender for more chips as not everyone had some she rolled her eyes said she would ask the kitchen. Had to ask for some sauces there was nothing that didn't go down great either though she did go and get some. I just feel for £15 ahead it was a pretty miserable effort from the Still House and I have to say one of the worst food I have ever tasted in any venue. The full cost was £525 for the room so very annoyed

It loses a star because we came for food and lots of drinks but we kept getting moved from table to table. Priority was given to diners. We spent a significant amount of money but felt like second class as we couldn't stay sitting down. Eventually forced to the closest local pub where we sat for the rest of our evening

Got med rare steak perfect . All my tatsebud scored it 10/10. Staff were attentive,courteous and accommodating. An experience I wish to have more off

Called on way down motorway on way home no problem booking when arrived table wasn’t much room around it no bother changing to another table lovely menu and the meal was absolutely top class and very reasonable although I would say the wine was overpriced Staff great attentive and knowledgeable and pleasant one point I would make is when I went to pay the bill I was asked would I like to put a tip on my card payment to which I refused because if I want to leave a tip I’ll do it without having to be asked and as I didn’t know if staff would receive it if it was paid on my card had there had been a facility to leave cash in a bottle etc then I would have

This was probably the worst dining experience I have ever had. I was there on Friday 26th Jan 2024, with my daughter, sister and cousin. My sister and I asked what soup was on the menu, we were told vegetable! What we got was a dark thick murky looking onion soup, which technically is a vegetable, but the staff apologised, that they had given us the wrong information. My sister suffered through it, but after taking 2 small spoonfuls, I sent mine back. So much pepper, it was burning my throat. For mains, my sister and I ordered the Jacob's Ladder ribs, no explanation on the menu what that was, so we assumed pork ribs, but it was beef, and it was disgusting. All I ate from that plate, was a scoop of (cold) mash. My daughter and cousin, both had the venison, which they said at the time was delicious while they were eating it, but both had dodgy stomachs after. All 4 meals came out cold. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Solo visit at end January. Warm welcome and great food. Substantial portions and superb flavours - for starter I had the Pork and hegarty en croute with a lovely buttery side order of garlic bread. Then for main had the Slow cooked Jacobs ladder (beef short rib) the flavours of which would genuinely give the neighbouring Michelin recommended restaurant a real run for their money - super value and worth a detour into Moira!

Not good tonight ! Very poor service from “ head waiter “ . Refused us a table as we hadn’t booked ! We have finished our mediocre meal and there’s still lots of free tables ? Fish n chips very small pieces of fish ! Had to ask for more peas ! We will NOT be back .

So after a plan day we were disappointed with the service and food at this time and we hope that the chef/staff can take something out of this going forward, and I will be back but will not rush.

This spot in Moira has consistently been my favorite, whether I'm by myself or with friends. Weekends here are enjoyable, and the drink prices are reasonable. Its expansive beer garden is perfect for summertime gatherings. The only drawback is the lack of mobile network connectivity; even on WiFi, calls and regular messaging are impossible. Despite that, it remains an exceptional place to visit.

Reasonable food , bad service. Had a stirlon which was reasonable although not great. Ordered medium rare was actually medium. Service was bad. Were more busy with themselves behind the bar, customers were not seen.

The food is descend but then the service is on holiday, on Monday not being busy you really have to put an effort to attract the attention of the service

Had a bit of a delay between the starter and main but the staff went above and beyond to rectify it, great spot and great staff!!

We asked twice for a change of table away from the loud music but no chance," it would affect our booking timings later", we were told, though there were available tables unoccupied. This is a pub for goodness sake, not a fine dining restaurant. The Christmas menu we wanted on their website wasn't offered, instead a more expensive one only. Three of the four mains, hake at £24, were awful and mostly inedible with large bones and stale uncooked potatoes served in a greasy soup. We wouldn't risk the desserts. Then we were reminded about the Gratuity space on the bill by the man who refused to change our table. Tips are for good service and showing customer care. Never again.

My family and I had dinner in this establishment on Boxing Day as we did the previous year. Despite having good meals previously my partner's meal on this particular occasion did not meet her expectations as the meat was fatty and inedible. The staff were informed of the problem and showed very little interest. After a few complaints we received a meagre discount of a couple of pounds on our final bill, this was unsatisfactory to say the least and we will be having a rethink about attending here in the future.

Can't comment on the food as I didn't have any. Staff were friendly. Reasonably priced. Doormen were helpful and friendly and able to control the crowds as it was busy over the Christmas period.

Decent wings However I have never experienced worse bar service in my life. Understaffed doesn’t even cover it. A complete hot mess. 45 minutes+ wait Waiting staff were decent though

We went here for our anniversary last night and had a fantastic time. I can't recommend it enough. the staff were really friendly and attentive (and also funny) and the food was amazing. the starters and mains were cooked to perfection, that was the best duck I've had in a very long time. drinks were great and cocktails spot on. The music was brilliant and the atmosphere very chill and laid back. we will defo be back soon. Thank you.

Had the duck, steak sandwich and hake. Every meal was very very good. Extremely tasty and great portions. Prices are great also!

We both chose catch of the day. The fish portion was tiny. It looked like they had cut it in half for us. It was tasty by very expensive at £17.95. We complained to a male who we assumed was the manager. He initially laughed and then said he “would let the chef know”. He never came back to us. Our waitress was very nice and the service was good. When we paid the bill the manager was not around and we mentioned again to our waitress what had happened and ask what was the chef’s comment. She said she was aware and just apologised. Our lunch (for two) including desert and coffee came to just over £60. Definitely not value for money. A manager with no knowledge of customer care is not good for any establishment.

Have always loved The Stillhouse and make a point of stopping for lunch and a pint of Guinness or A gin every time I pass through Moira …… after today I won’t be stopping again. My first choice for lunch wasn’t available so I opted for the standard cod and chips …….. woeful …… a side dish of mushy peas with a crust on them that suggested they’d been sitting on top of a stove for a week and a piece of fish that was wringing wet - I left two thirds of the meal sitting and when the young girl serving me mentioned to the chef she apologised and said it was a new young chef and offered me 20% off a meal that I didn’t find good enough to eat. That’ll be my last visit here as while young chefs have to learn, someone should care enough about what they’re serving before presenting it to a customer. I note they list their suppliers on the menu - can’t recollect who their seafood supplier is, but a pice of frozen fish out of Iceland would have been better

Best service I’ve had while in town! The salad and onion rings were both great, as was the sticky pudding. Highly recommend!

Burger was okay, too much salty on my opinion. My friend like Their dishes! So I gave 4 stars to their food. Very noisy indeed.

Went here last night 8.9.23 to have a couple of drinks and sit in the sun with our puppy. Beer garden is lovely drinks were great atmosphere lovely as well. Although the guy with the dark curlyish hair and the striped story collecting glasses needs an attitude check!

Nice Pub with excellent food (especially the steaks and also fish and chips). The staff is very friendly. We've been there on a Friday night (reservation ist recommended) so we've good live music.

This has everything, quiet dining, friendly staff, a beer garden with live music. You could spend all weekend there and have a fantastic time. We just dropped in and they couldn't have been more helpful. Great service. The Guinness was mighty! Loved it!

A group of 5 friends eating out in the evening. This was chosen as it was a convenient half way meeting spot. I found the menu uninspiring. I had difficulty choosing as there was nothing I really wanted. In the end I went for the scampi starter and the Burger main. The scampi was good, the burger was average. The service was fine. Reasonably prompt and our waiter was pleasant enough. There was nothing overly wrong with our meal, there just wasn't anything memorable enough to return for.

If i could possibly give this place 1 star i would good was diabolical. No manager to sort out the terrible food served an absolute disgrace. sadly it’s went way downhill as we used to visit this place regularly a few years back AVOID

After waiting for over 45 minutes on food that didn't arrive in a cafe across the road we decided to give The Stillhouse a visit. We were greeted by smiling and welcoming staff given a choice of seats and had a super snack at lunchtime very reasonably priced with great flavour good portion and excellent range of drinks. When in Moira this will be our go to in future.

Family pub, with a good menu. Good customer service. I would also recommend their gin making classes..

The gluten free menu was terrific, had a beautiful steak sandwich and skinny fries which was delicious.

Had a great lunch of the fish and chips, mushy peas and tartar side. Partner had the ribs and skinny fries, coleslaw and BBQ sauce.

Wonderful experience at The Still House Moira following my daughter’s Christening in June. We had a large party with a number of children, so had our meal in the beautiful ‘Loft’ - a gorgeous rustic setting and plenty of space for our party and kids. The service was amazing - the ladies went over and above and food was outstanding. We would definitely recommend. Thank you Still House.

Decent spot in Moira. Good parking around it. Staff very friendly and patient. Food was good value for money. Portion sizes decent. We went quite early in the evening and still a nice friendly atmosphere.

Great staff made our evening enjoyable We were staying at Ralph's next door and were very tired, having arrived in Belfast at 06:30 on the ferry from Liverpool. My husband had soup and I chose scampi a little stodgy far too much batter but a generous portion. Moved onto mains my husband went for a burger and I chose lamb again ample finished off with sticky toffee pudding. Loved the alcohol free options the Vramble cocktail was pretty to look at and tasty. Loved the decor would visit again.
