Unfriendly staff and over priced. I’m Actually surprised there’s been such a hype about this place. Wanted to try it out for myself and can honestly say I’ll never be back. Iv never experienced such rude unfriendly staff, so off putting feeling uncomfortable we couldn’t wait to leave..

Called in at lunchtime, busy and noisy. Menu a collection of mixed up typed pages on clipboard. We Ordered breakfast and salmon / prawn avacado salad. Breakfast arrived shortly after ordering and the Sausage eggs and bacon looked and tasted dry : aged, not helped by a cold plate. Lots of soda & potato bread adds to the bulk appearance - enjoyed the mushroom Later in the day my partner was unwell and felt the salad may be to blame, it couldn’t have been the few salmon shreds served with the meal. At £15 pounds per meal it was poor value for money, the noise reverberates around The seating area Appearance is more like a barn than a shed. A isolated building living of the history of good service and food created by others, wise diners will vote with their feed.

Very busy spot which does an ok breakfast. Some items were cold and others were missing and then brought cold. My son had the cinnamon swirl which I would not recommend. Was very hard and I would struggle to eat it. Also were seated next to the waiting area which meant a crowd gathered at the end of our table. Found the place very loud, probably due to the high ceilings and open plan.

This place use to be a great wee place. Recent price hikes are extortionate tho. £15 for an average enough breakfast. Quality of the produce is questionable. (A lot of cheaper items used). Sausages, apple juice to name a few. It may look lovely having an old fashioned China cup and saucer, but it’s really 3 small mouthful of coffee @ £3.60!!!

Having been recommended. I took my friend for breakfast this morning. We ordered two beny eggs a tea and cappuccino after waiting 45mins we asked if we could be served our drinks, which appeared to be an inconvenience to the staff, 15 mins after this we enquired about our food as other tables were being served that had came in after us. We were told sorry your order didn’t go through to the kitchen another member of staff came to apologise however she must have found it funny as she sniggered at us. When the food arrived the muffin was saturated in water and appeared not to be toasted and I was unable to eat it. Staff did take of the price of the tea and coffee and gave us fresh replacement I assume because of the lengthy wait. The quality of the food was not addressed and I was charged full price for this. Customer service and quality of food would seriously need to be addressed.

It was my first time visiting here. Neither me nor my friend had heard much about it but knew of it. We were going to go to Vic Ryn but it was closed so we came here instead and were very pleased with it. It literally is a shed but it's been done up inside to a very high standard. It was quite busy at lunchtime on a Saturday, which is a good sign. We both had the fish and chips and enjoyed it very much. Being able to pay separately is very convenient. It's really easy to find - just outside Maghaberry village on the A26 side. Staff were really friendly and their service was top notch. We waited on the desert menu but then realised that they don't do much for desert so headed on - probably should have asked. They're pretty good at clearing tables quickly too and the place is very clean. Reasonably priced and a great menu means I'll be back. Highly recommended!

Table that we sat at was very close to next table. I ordered the chicken stack, it did not say on the menu that it was chicken goujons, they were not nice, the peppered sauce was well watered down, I think, no sharpness to it at all. I checked the menu online, it does say goujons on it but not on the paper one in cafe. Very disappointed. The fish one of my friends ordered was very disappointed.

We had brought a birthday cake and this was brought out to us with candles lit, and plates and cutlery, along with our chosen hot drinks. We all wanted to pay separately and the waitress patiently dealt with each if us. My chicken burger with skinny fries, bacon, cheese and fried onions was £14 which I thought very reasonable . This café has gone downhill fast. I used to enjoy a visit there when it first opened. However, the portion size has decreased substantially and the prices increased. Today I visited with a friend. We had two coffees, a scone and slice of toasted wheaten bread. It cost £13.10. I might have understood if the food had been delicious but the scone was tiny and the wheaten bread inedible, dense and hard. Very disappointed as this used to be a great place.

The priciest Americano coffee I have ever had in N. Ireland. Scones whilst very nice also expensive but the greatest rip-off ever was being charged an extra 85p for butter and 85p for a tiny pot of jam! I have never been charged for this ever. Surely they are making enough profit on the price of coffee and a scone to justify this. First and last visit to this establishment.

Visited the Shed to meet family for coffee & a catch up . We all chose coffee & scones which were nice but not the tastiest scones I’ve ever had . They were certainly the most expensive I’ve had …. a raspberry & white chocolate scone was £3,30 plus 85p for cream which wasn’t enough for two halves of scone & 50p for jam …. All in all a total of £4.65 . Coffees were expensive too compared-to other coffee shops . Total bill was almost £30 for 4 people. We have visited this establishment several time’s & understand prices have Increased but the prices are not value for money . For this reason we will choose another venue in the locality when meeting family .

MORE AT TripAdvisor

Really disappointed I feel as if I need to make this review but the poor quality food and sheer lack of customer service has resulted in this. Due to being part of the local farming community we were looking forward to experiencing the Shed but this place does absolutely nothing to promote local produce and what it does offer is basic, overpriced and poor quality food. On arrival we made the waitress aware that our child had a milk allergy which we were told could be catered for. We were rushed to order as we were informed we had 5 minutes to order from the breakfast menu and then we would have to wait 15 minutes before we could order any lunch. This is absolutely ridiculous, why do yourself out of 15 minutes worth of business? Have never been in another establishment that this is the case - absolutely absurd and a flaw. We decided to go for the lunch menu which it took asking 3 different members of staff and 15 minutes to get. For the kids we did order the from The breakfast menu as they were starving. Absolutely nothing on their standard kids menu was suitable for a dairy allergy sufferer and when the chef was asked what allergens were In their sausages the waitress informed me he didn’t know and not to order it. How does a head chef not know what he’s cooking? We then decided to go for bacon, toast and beans which came 10 mins after our other child’s breakfast and without cutlery. The real shock was the fact they had placed real dairy butter on top of his toast and when asked for a substitute none was available. Massively disappointing. 12:10pm and our orders still not taken as we watch other customers come in after us and are serviced straight away. Our food then took another 30 mins before it came out - one order was wrong, cold chips and cold mash with another. Why make us wait for a lunch menu if everything you were going to serve is cold? Also when asked if we could add a chicken breast to the burger - we were told no despite the rude comment added to the bottom of the menu that you couldn't make changes to the food but additions could be made? Staffing was poor. Not once did the same waitress serve our table - so clearly no communication between staff was being carried out and every time we had to go out of our way to get a member of staffs attention. Saddened due to the lovely location and the apparent effort put into the fixtures. And will give credit that we didn’t pay for the wrong order but no replacement offered despite it not being eaten, I left without having lunch in the end. Would not recommend and will not be returning. Think it speaks volumes Facebook reviews on this business have been disabled.

Food quality and Staff are great, there's plenty of parking and there is a nice warm atmosphere inside. I visit here once a month with work colleagues but there are a couple of things which always bug me...... For me the portion sizes at breakfast are a bit disappointing. For example when it says potato bread I was expecting a full slice not half a slice which you get. I don't mind paying £7-9 for a cooked breakfast but at least give the customer an actual portion size. The other annoying thing is the finishing touches to the glasses and cultery. The glasses have a grime on the bottom of them and there is water marks all over them which looks as if they haven't been cleaned, even though they have been. You can literally scratch it off with your nail. The cultery is the same. This is always the same anytime I visit. Please ask your staff to check/polish these before giving out to customers, it's really off putting. Apart from those small issues the food is a really good quality, the service is quick and staff are pleasant.

Got breakfast, the poached eggs were saturated in vinegar, wife had same experience. When I said the the waitress it took her 5 minutes to return. She said they were done in vinegar, and took our plates away. We hadn’t time to reorder. Here’s where it gets good…. I was charged for everything, I asked the waitress was this correct she said she didn’t know and called the manager. He took a couple of pounds off I questioned the reasoning and he then took a total of £7 off the bill. He said it was the price of the eggs. He smirked when I suggested this was not ok, and he said there was nothing wrong with the toast or bacon, regardless the fact they were also smothered with vinegar from the eggs. Very disappointing experience I definitely will not be back. There are far better establishments in Moira and Lurgan all which have much better manners - don’t waste your time looking for this place it is overpriced and has service of a budget chain restaurant. I did tell the manager I would put a bad review up, he smirked at that also and did not appear to care at all. The shed - not for me again!

Our first visit here and we will definitely be back. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was delicious. Our group had a kids meal, burger, cesar salad and bang bang chicken salad. Just fantastic. They were even kind enough to make us a tartlet to go for a house bound family member. All round excellent experience.

So much potential. This place is so close to being a hidden gem. I love the fact is on a farm, the aesthetics of the building, plenty of space inside and lovely to sit outside. Its let down by basic service. Granted I only had coffee and a bun and it was iced coffee, the day I turned up no one was in front nor behind me, it still took 10 mins for the coffee to arrive yet the bun arrived within 2 minutes. I asked for a bottle of water it never came. I'd probably return to see if there is any improvements if not I wouldn't go back.

Outside - theres pleanty of parking. Inside - the place is very clean and bright. The staff are nice and friendly. The menu are easy to understand as it shows whats on the food your ordering. We didnt wait long for our drinks and also the food was served few minutes later. The milkshakes are one of nicest we had so far, the full breakfast were also very tasty and with good portion. The waffles though a bit sweet was also very good as its crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Price - a bit on the high side.

We have seen the signs for the Shed many times on the way to or from the airport, but today was the first time we actually stopped there. Based on our experience today, this will be the first of many visits. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food ( Caesar’s salad and bang bang chicken) excellent. Great value for quality and quantity. Desserts ( pavlova and coconut square) were superb as well. We very highly recommend the Shed to others to visit. Thank you staff for your attention and service

Although the food was nice, some of the prices I was charged in this place today actually beggars belief. There are some expensive cafes around at the minute but this one takes the biscuit. The £2.90 they charge for a can of Coke Zero is nothing short of criminal considering they can be bought wholesale for about 35p a can. £4.15 for a kids hot chocolate (maximum 6oz tea cup) that tasted more like Ovaltine than chocolate is absolutely disgusting. £4.40 for a relatively small side of chips is hilarious - but were needed to pad out the four or five chicken nugget-sized salt and chilli chicken strips I received. The waffles were actually good value for the 7-year-old but at £3.99, but this only further emphasises the scandalous pricing of the other items when the bill came to £30.59 and the only other person at the table was an 8 month old who got a baby plate of eggs, a tiny ramekin of avocado and a slice of toast. Beyond a joke.
