The best restaurants in North Bay Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

We were walking through Scarborough as part of our hike along the Cleveland Way and after walking past the Beach Huts in North, heading towards South Bay, we were on the lookout for somewhere to grab a quick meal. Everywhere seemed crazy busy, but luckily we found this place without a queue - possibly now I understand why no queue though as just wasn't great. My husband's small fish was huge! but he didn't enjoy so ate less than half. My battered sausage and chips was good/average quality, but the sausage was teeny! Still, we ate enough to fill our bellies so we could continue on our walk.

We ate there two nights in a row. The first time was great, even had a scone. The second night was not good for me. It might have a little bit to do with the second night running low on food because they are closed On Tuesday and Wednesday. Our second visit was on Monday.

Drop in visitors x3 for food and drink. Pretty lamentable all round.

Pequeña joya posiblemente perdida por aquellos que no caminan a lo largo de este camino. El local estaba limpio, amable con el personal, fuera y dentro de comer en la playa. Estuve con amigos para almorzar y tuve un arado increíble, ahora en casa en Escocia y buscando el queso que usaron jajaja

When I ordered my pizza someone said is around £28 but to the door it was 31. I know is just 3 pounds but it's embarrassing for seller. Why tell me a small price? Is last time never order anything from pizza 2 go. Shame you

Llamado para pescado y patatas fritas para compartir - £ 10. Abrió la caja para encontrar el pescado en tres piezas. Sabor a aceite rancio tanto para pescado como para patatas fritas. Verdaderamente el peor pescado con papas fritas que he comido.

Only had ice creams on this occasion so cannot comment on the other food. The ice cream was great, tasted fab and huge portion sizes so well worth the money. Staff were friendly. Only comment to improve would be that there was no one else in there and the tables needed cleaning.

Outstanding food 2 days ago. But really let down with my latest order .pizza dough fantastic .but my last order was really poor.i thought this was the best pizza in town .but my latest order was really poor..let me down

I ordered a meal deal at 6pm on a Friday night. A little annoyed at the 1 hour 10 mins - 1 hour 30 mins delivery time but stuck with it. I called the shop after 1 hour 40 mins asking about my order and was assured it was on its way. I am writing this now at 9pm and the order still has not arrived and the shop have ignored the 11 phone calls that I have made. Disgusted at this. From a Just Eat customer.

AVOID!! Worst Indian we've ever had. Staying on Cayton Bay wish we never bothered. The chicken tikka starter like old balls of salt. The rice overcooked and old stuck to the lid in clumps. The chicken tikka masala a watery salty gravy. No flavour or taste just salty. Had an off piece of chicken too. Naan bread stodgy and undercooked. Even the popadums were stale floppy and black on the edges. Nicest part was the mint sauce. Can't comment on chips and they missed them out the bag!
