Clifton Hotel Scarborough in Scarborough

Lovely room and service will visit again ext year

I have visited the Clifton some times over the years and found it an excellent place stay.

Very happy, a late booking but staff were friendly and helpful. Sorted our room promptly and efficiently. Clean and lovely rooms with a bath! Love a bath.

What could be better than this establishment facing the sea (sometimes wild!)

The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful. On the down side it was rather cold and the room was by far the smallest roo that we have ever stayed in.

Lovely hotel up on the cliff. Great location close to the Open Air Theatre and on the quieter side of Scarborough.

Birthday weekend in Scarborough and choose the Clifton hotel. We had a sea view room which was very spacious. Room was well equipped we had a large flat screen tv, fridge in the room. Hotel has gone through a recent re decoration and you can see the effort that the team have put into each room. Our stay was fantastic and the staff were excellent. Only criticism was they don't currently have a restaurant, only serving bar snacks till 8.

Arrived to book .Found it was full of migrants. Left immediately!

I found the staff kind and friendly.

Found out that the hotel was being used for Migrants only because we had gone for the day and went to book out car in. Was met with aggressive security staff at the door. Cancelled the booking but rang Britannia to see if they were still taking bookings and they were!!
