Delmont Hotel in Scarborough

What a fab pizza takeaway and what lovely, charming and helpful people, Ali, Alha(soz spelling) and Vlodimir! Really kind abd funny people. The Mediterranean Special pizza was totally delicious and, even though it was a 10inch, was plenty. In fact, I had the rest for lunch!! Thank you all and Благодаря ти/Дякую!! We ordered a Brie and bacon burger, what we received was a standard cheeseburger on a slightly burnt pretzel bun… no bacon, no Brie and no coleslaw. We also ordered a ham salad on brown with salad, again no coleslaw and a single thin slice of ham. Coffee and hot chocolate were great. We bought soft drinks but were offered no glass/ cup so had to share a bottle swigging out of it.

Not very nice. Stunk of grease, everything was sticky including the laminated menus. The Smoo milkshake was horrible and still had lumps of powder in the bottom. I understand it's a typical old English greasy spoon cafe however there still has to be certain standards that need to be met, and this doesn't meet them at all.

I’ve used this place since 2006 after the last order it will be the last, sending out tinned spaghetti bolognese what a joke
