Absolutely shocking service. That new blue haired woman is absolutely awful at making drinks. She’s gave me a hot ‘iced’ latte instead of a cold one! Hope she gets booted off the team!

My partner got caramelised frappe with no ice so my partner complained and apparently that’s how it’s supposed to be 😬 Clearly didn’t want to remake it, I’d avoid for drinks if I were you.. Partner says it was completely different from another branch so it’s new staff that’s the issue..

Nice chilled place for a coffee

A lad called Harry served me this morning and his customer service was brilliant. Asked if my oat milk was preference or allergies, due to it being allergies he got the allergen guide and broke down each part of my order to visibly show me it was safe for me to consume and explained my drink would be a teeny bit longer as the jugs were being sanitized before the oat milk were to be added. Never had service like this before, absolutely fantastic. And such a lovely cheery lad. Thank you Harry!

this costa is different from the others the staff are very caring and thoughtful about the customers the staff member emily was especially kind

Don't like the way milk alternatives for vegans are charged higher than cows milk......it's exploiting compassionate people.

Costa has certainly gone into a nose dive since the Americans got hold of it. But they do have a tendency to destroy our businesses, don't they? Anyway I'd rather go to an independent business these days. Costa employs some ghastly females, and standards are plummeting to the earth's core.

This is my new goto Costa since I moved to Scarborough. Staff are nice, polite and cheerful and the food and drink are upto Costa usual Excellent standard.

Me and my partner come to costa drive through often the staff are always so welcoming but we have recognised Ben particularly, he is a wonderful asset to the team and is always smiling and bubbly, his coffees are always the best to the point we hope he is working to get one that’s 10/10.

Nice coffee but expensive even the refilable buying cups way to expensive i put it back atmosphere was bit boring but in fairbess late at night woman moping floor looking sad

Sloe service. Scalding hot coffee masks lack of depth in taste.

Coffee was extremely bitter/burnt. The milk so hot that it’s been 40mins after receiving and still not able to drink. Let’s also remember that it’s over £4 each for a drink, a not insignificant amount. You would hope that the baristas are trained properly to know how to make a coffee in a coffee shop. It’s their one function. Train your staff!

Love my Costa coffee, usually have take out. Unfortunately, on one occasion, I got a takeaway coffee with no lid as they didn't have any, not good when on a car journey, I should have been told this before purchasing. But on the whole it's still my favourite coffee.

Fast service. The staff will respect modifications to drinks which tends to be rare. Good place.

Great customer service always met with a smile and even been greeted with my first name which is nice for people to remember me.

They do an excellent job, but I'd prefer Caffè Nero taste wise. Get the Hazelnut Latte!

Didnt have food ...had quite a wait for my coffee but nice staff, great seating and decor. Good place to catch up with friends.

Just a flying visit, grabbed a coffee and went , but I was served quickly, and the drink was hot. What more can you ask for.

ordered a drink through uber eats, ordered it without coffee since i can't drink caffeine for medical reasons and since i am pregnant. it arrives, has coffee in it, i then just throw it away and get refunded through uber eats. i decide to just go drive and get a new one and asked them twice if there was definitely no coffee. they said there was no coffee in the drink, so i drive home and turns out there's coffee in it. i drive back and tell them what's happened, and they denied putting coffee in it, when you could clearly taste it. i then told them it was for medical reasons and that's when they apologised and made me a new one. good job i'm not deathly allergic, lol.

Been for a couple of takeaway coffees this morning and asked for one to be extra hot as I was taking it for someone who was ill and couldn't go out. The coffee was perfect and very much appreciated by the recipient. Great service! These guys could definitely teach a thing or two to other Costa shops I've visited

Overall alright. Purchased the new Rolo milkshake: The milkshake was tasty. I wouldn’t rush back for it, would buy again though. The caramel flavour isn’t overly sweet which may confuse some people. If you’ve had caramel coffee syrup you’ll understand it. I was surprised the ice wasn’t blended but it kept the drink nice and cool. I am impressed at how creamy the light dairy swirl was. I have made a very similar drink at home before, it tastes exactly the same! - Ice - Semi Milk - Chocolate powder - Caramel coffee syrup Mix it all up in a cocktail shaker - Light squirty cream - caramel sauce The price of 2 of the milkshakes will cover the cost of the ingredients and you can make many more! The building is nice and clean, plenty of staff, staff were polite, plenty of seating.

Calm, quiet and friendly atmosphere despite having a lot of customer sat in. Staff seem to work together really well and served our hot food up really quick. Food and drinks were great as always.

Clean, tidy and warm, nice drink. I suppose with Costa and similar outlets you pay more than you would in your local greasy spoon...

First time in the new Costa. ( near morrisons ) 3 small lattes, bit pricey, but very enjoyable.

Visited on a quiet Sunday, I like to sit in this particular Costa because it does have a nice atmosphere and its always clean and tidy.

A really nice Costa. All new and really clean. Good friendly staff. Only downside was they closed at 14.00 because of staff shortage.

Capaccino mot up to usual Costa standard. It was way too strong. Also no brown toast again.

Great location, great coffee, good meeting place. Care needed when accessing the car park, beware oncoming cars when turning in.

Great coffee but more importantly really good staff, very pleasant and eager to please there was an error on the it system which meant our app lost a free drink but this was instantly pop right by the staff with an apology excellent, will come again.

The staff are very helpful in this Costa, I was having a 'tech' issue with my Vodafone app and they were very patient and resolved the problem. Its a large airy atmosphere, my only negative is that there's only 1 sofa 😊

Kinda want to rate it low just so less people know how good it is. Excellent staff, big sun facing windows and plenty of parking. Sometimes cleaning a bit subpar but you can hardly blame them.

placed an order through click & collect, no sausage baps so we had to have cheese and tomato toastie’s instead for them to be cold. ordered 2 drinks - both needed hazel nut syrup & 1 was supposed to be decaf but didn’t receive anything we asked for!!! disgusting place, i demand a refund.

Costa is a standard coffee chain, so it's fairly consistent whichever branch you go to. Plastic screens tend to ruin the coffee shop effect, especially the tiny hatch you pay though! Seating upstairs is much nicer, especially the window seat.

Really friendly staff, I messed my order up twice at the drive thu (I have anxiety so I blame that! And I know how annoying it is when you get messed about so sorry about that) and I'd had a really tiring day... they were really nice about it and didn't make me feel bad 🙂 which is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Quite a new place few months old I think, staff very friendly, will return.

The first time I went it was really nice and frothy hot chocolate. But the second time I went on the 30th November the hot chocolate was dismal, not frothy, very watery and generally extremely bland. The service was not very friendly either. No eye contact or no smiles.

Really friendly staff, comfortable surroundings and service was really excellent. Although it is a drive through there is a seating area which is really nice, clean and comfortable. The coffee and food is the same as any Costa, so it’s the customer experience that makes the difference.

Call me old fashioned but when I worked in hospitality a closing time of 7pm meant 7pm. Visited this Costa with a friend since it was new and just wanted a coffee to take out. Unfortunately when we walked in the people behind the counter looked at me for a good 20 seconds like I was about to rob the place and said "sorry we closed at 7". I looked at the time and it was 6:57pm. I said "its only 6:57, " and they just repeated "we closed at 7" . That was it. No coffee for me. Ended up going to McDonalds. Very disappointed really. I know I was cutting the timing a bit fine with only a 5 minute window but in my time in hospitality, 7 meant 7 and if a customer turned up at 6:59, you served them. Afterwards we sat and watched a steady stream of cars pull into the carpark then leave again because all the lights were on but they weren't open. 6:57pm is not 7pm. On the plus side, the place was clean having just being built and the car park was in good condition. Access is a bit rubbish right now with only one small road in and a Morrisons and McDonalds all using the same mini-roundabout but I've heard this is going to be changed soon as a KFC is also being added to the mix.

Fantastic place to get coffee and a quick bite to eat. Easy to get too as just off the A64. Very clean and modern interior. Nice range off drinks available. Would recommend.

Just been to the new Costa shop next to McDonald's, first visit and not my last, absolutely outstanding customer service from ross I think he said his name was, what a guy 🤣 definitely brings the spirit back into the day! Good effort mate!!
