Was one of the best kebab I've ever had and I've had a few

Small & dingy shop!! Calzone wasn’t even cooked correctly. Pure dough, stodgy an lacked flavour. Kids kebab meat was that dry I thought i was feeding my child a slice of card board!! More garlic in a vampires cave than what’s in the garlic mayo. Black an burnt chips laced with Greece. When rung we was told we was liars an it left the shop ‘good’ Absolutely awful. Would not have this again!!!

Orded to pick up, got food homes all black bits in chips, and got a kabab calzone and it was like pure dough......yes that's right pure dough.....i always got from this shop all my living life I have been coming to filey.... was the best.... not now..... am done ...

Food poor. Pizza crust was black! Black bits from the dirty fryers on the chips. Menu very limited and basic, only 1 size of choice for pizzas and no chicken kebabs or wraps no childrens menu. Waiting time for collection was over an hour yet told would be 30 mins. Don't open as late as times advertised.

Shocking picked up just warm that's why I pick up so it's hot 15 pound gone in bin

Told to come in 40 minutes for a collection for donner kebab as they were cooking a new one. Got home to this monstrosity. Horrible greasy scrape ups with no salad or anything as requested. Will not return. No wonder the locals stay well clear!!

The food is okay at best I live in hunmanby and would sooner drive to brid or Scarborough for a pizza … but the worst thing has to be the people so miserable !! The bloke always looks so angry! Like it’s a burden for paying customers ! Anyway sure he’s a serial killer or something !!

Never answer calls always on other calls for 15 minutes I think it is very inappropriate that when customers call they do not answer.

Lovely food, lovely staff. I would give 5 stars but only complaint is that orders are usually wrong when getting your food delivered. You can't phone them to sort it out as the phone is taken off hook during busy times. But mistakes happen and would still recommend

Pizza was a little cold and there was a fly in the crust of pizza

Great food. Friendly staff. But when present owners took over they said they wouldn't take phone off hook. Which they do. Understand they are busy but people will wait for good food. Please keep phone on. I dont mind waiting for decent food.

Ordered collection on a busy Friday night. It's got new owners, and I can only summise that the previous reviews relate to the owners before these. All staff were working hard inside when I picked up my order. It took longer than I was told, but I factored this in anyway as all takeaways are busy on weekends. It was good to see the pizzas with multiple toppings getting cooked in layers so that each item was properly cooked too. Food was very nice, fresh and tasty. The chips were crispy and hot. No complaints here and will definitely use again.

First time and last the kebabs are the worst we have tasted with stale cheap pitabreads and the garlic mayo is cheap watery mayo

I placed an order on the phone. I got pizza and some cheesy chips. The cheesy chips was not cooked and cheese was just dumped on the top.

I'm not sure if it's the cost of living, change of ingredients but the food is awful now and to find a long red hair in food🤮 Very salty, overcooked or undercooked chips. Sorry I did used to love spinners

Pretty gross. Chips were barely warm, over-cooked and grim. All 3 burgers were soggy, cold and tasteless. Kebab was only ok. Pizza not good. Won't be ordering from here again. Over £30 and no one satisfied.

Spinners WAS great. Recently after 2 visits in the last two weeks.... never again yes I agree staff are friendly but the food is no longer so. The burger I had was burnt and rock solid the donner kebab looked awful and was cold delivery then personal visit donner was cold and unappetising.

First visit here lovely food great portions will definitely be back next time we're on holiday!

A complete shambles. Waited over an hour for food and they ran out of kebab so couldn't complete our order. Everyone else there was moaning they'd been waiting 1.5 hours.

I've ordered Kebabs, collected from the shop, walked five minutes to house and the food was like warm at best. Ordered a spinner special pizza, collected, got home to find the pizza luke warm. The quality of pizza and kebad was bad. Eating the pizza, had taste, topping,meats still cold.

The best chips ever! & ive eaten quite a few chips in my life time. We also enjoyed the kebab, I'd recommend if your in the area. The prices were good too for the area.

Had a kebab & chips! Not very good! There's definitely a need for a good kebab shop in Hunmanby & Filey area. All of them without exception are very poor. Somebody who knows how to make a good kebab and chips would make a killing. At the moment the poor quality of the food from these places is doing the killing.

I am being totally honest here. Ordered food and order taker was very polite. Stated.food delivery would be 30 mins and that was accurate too The food was spot on I had no cause for complaint . So all in all yeah give em a try

We ordered 2 pizzas from here for collection, very tasty, very nice, will be returning again, already looked at the menu for our next visit.

The food here is great.... However you have no idea of customer service!!! You take the phone off the hook or do not answer??? I am local this is every time you get busy and do not deserve the business!!! Never again will I phone you

Best takeout in Hunmanby by far

Stopped on my way back from work to collect a meat feast pizza. Didnt have to wait a long time like I do in other takeaways. Pizza was amazing and staff were very friendly.

Ordered from here this evening and after waiting a good hour and 30 minutes for our delivery and ringing to try find out where our order was (the phone was off the hook) we ended up driving down only to get told our order had ‘blown away’ but they’d managed to find it and sent the order out to our address anyway. We got back and the driver pulled up at the same time. Pizza was ok, chips not the best, although we’d waited that long our appetites had almost gone. This used to be the go to place, it’s quickly turning into the NO GO place!!

All the tables in the village pubs were fully booked, I've never been happier! I ordered a toscana r lass got chicken mushroom proper enjoyed it. If you want pizza give this place a ring

Tasty, just had a kebab and my wife had tuna and pineapple pizza, absolutely delicious, all fresh, all very tasty

Love this place but so disappointed that every time I call its engaged. Tried for over 1 and a half hour tonight to get through, rumours I hear that if so busy you take the phone off the hook, would rather listen to a message to say you are too busy for orders rather than constantly trying to get through. At least then I can look at alternatives, great food but you really need to look at better communication from yourselves to the customer.

Would like to give a review of the food if I could get served. Went this weekend. Stood waiting to be served. A "local" walked in and got served straight away. I stood waiting and still no response. Walked out and spent my money at another takeaway. The other takeaway served me straightaway and I ended up going back another night. Found a good takeaway that wanted my money

Hawaiian pizza is the best weve ever had. Took pictures to show the takeaways in our local town what a pizza should look like!!!!

Ordered two garlic and tomato pizzas, two cheesy chips and garlic and a doner kebab. Pizzas were crispy and barely eatable, couldn't taste any garlic, it was like a plain pizza. Cheesey chips were solid like a brick, literally two minutes after getting them. Garlic sauce was just like solid cream and tasted off. Doner kebab was all mixed together, didn't ask if we wanted it that way. Don't like spicy food so inedible. Took about 45 minutes. Absolutely disgraceful. Travel further and go elsewhere. £20 in the bin. #Update.... Was that unhappy, I went back to complain. There were two women behind the counter who were just scowling at me, one of them was so incredibly rude. Got a refund for £10. The boss at the back was lovely and seemed quite understanding.

We have a static caravan just down the road, we do not normally have take aways but we had the Grandkids stopping with us and that’s what they wanted. Had a variety of dishes, Pizza, Nuggets, Kebabs and a Calzone, all excellent, and all good value for money, just be aware CASH only

Delivered to a Filey campsite punctually as expected but the pizzas we received not great. Pepperoni tasteless and Ham & Pineapple was disgusting; the cheese (I think it was cheese??) used was sloppy and ruined it. I’m afraid to say that other than the two members of staff I dealt with who I couldn’t fault, this place was poor!

Fantastic selection of Pizzas. All the usual suspects plus a few more besides. At the end of the day however, my wife and I went for burgers and our daughter and grand daughter kebabs. Generous portions all. Beautifully cooked and at very reasonable prices.Don't hesitate, give it a go.

Hot shot is fab if you like a pizza that's HOT. All the others are Good to.

Nice fast service but it's all about the quality of food which was terrible. Ordered pizzas which tasted like a co-op shop bought pizza, one of the worst i've tasted. Cheesy chips that were dry and hard like cardboard and a garlic bread that had so much garlic on it burnt the mouth. Shame.... won't be trying again.

Having had a long day out we decided to get something quick to eat !There is a good selection of pizzas, kebabs etc.Having ordered our pizzas we sat down to wait !When we entered the shop we were the only people in there and were not given an estimated time as to how long the food would take.While waiting, other local people came in and ordered and received there food before us.After 45 mins we were told ours was ready but the order had been mixed up and we had to wait for this to be sorted out.Having watched the actions in the kitchen it appeared that the staff were not communicating with each other and also that the orders received were dealt with in a very haphazard way. Pizza filled a hole but was very tasteless. Cheese had no flavour and the spicy beef was not spicy at all.Would not recommend.

Ordered a couple of pizzas for delivery. They said 40 mins, arrived 1hr 25mins later. Sent the wrong pizza so one went to waste, other pizza wasn’t clever at all. Best bit was the chips and even they weren’t clever. Will not order ever again. This place used to be the place to go, now it’s the place to avoid.

I ordered some kebabs from here and they gave me and my family a bad stomach the day after, I would not recommend to anyone.

We moved to the area earlier in the year and out of 'tourist' season we couldn't fault the service. Now the 'tourist' season has begun the takeaway has shifted from looking after us as locals and turned to lying. We placed an order earlier much in line with any other order that we placed before the season begun, we spoke to a female that didn't seem to get our order and so we went through it slowly and again. Our order was delivered and wrong so called the takeaway back to be told that I spoke to the 'gruff' male when ordering which I most certainly did not. As a native villager that likes this takeaway and having had the lies they have told me this evening I shall not use again and I would urge anyone to use an alternative takeaway. If local businesses cant look after local people during the off season why should they be trusted to look after visitors? Go elsewhere people we live here and certainly shall!

Really friendly people and the food is fantastic we've eaten takeaway from here many times and will continue to do so no problem.

Phoned for a delivery to reighton sands and it arrived after 30 mins. Good value for money hot and tasty

Having previously used Spinners when we stayed in Hunmanby 3 years ago, we decided to stop off on the way back to our holiday cottage in Filey this year, to grab a pizza.We ordered one pizza off the menu with an extra topping, and one pizza off the menu and asked to switch one topping for another. I was told yes, that's fine. However when it came to paying we had been charged for an extra topping on each pizza - we paid, without questioning it, but this seemed a little harsh.As the pizzas are freshly prepared from scratch, there is a little bit of a wait, but this could be overcome by phoning your order through - the phone was constantly ringing whilst I was in there. There was a nice selection of magazines to read whilst waiting, although the waiting area could be a little cramped if more than 3 people were in there.We took the pizzas home to eat, and they were still lovely and warm. My partner said his was good, just good! But I thought mine was excellent, one of the best I have had in a long time.The only downside is that the pizzas are all the same size - 10" so might be too big for some, but not big enough to share for others.We enjoyed our meal though, and would definitely recommend (and return next year!)

We had a couple of kebabs from Spinners last night. The kebab meat was very good; no gristly bits in it and not too greasy. Himself and I both agreed that the addition of yoghurt with the chili sauce made the kebab very tasty without taking the lining off your throat! Very good value; my only (tiny) criticism is that although the kebabs were wrapped in foil they were a bit lukewarm when we ate them. Nonetheless, tasty and good quality!

Every now and then, when the weather's nice, I drive my family to Hunmanby Gap. The journey is perfectly complimented by a trip to Spinners who serve excellent Pizza and always with a smile. I think we would even go as far as saying that this is quite possibly the best pizza we have tasted as a family.Would recommend to anyone and everyone. My only suggestion however would be that they purchase a card machine.

I go there now and again and have never had a bad one. The hot shots are to die for is you like them hot. The staff in the shop are nice. Some times you have to wait a while but trust me its well worth it.

Himself went to Spinners from Reighton to order & collect. 1 x Hot Beef pizza and 1 x garlic bread with cheese duly prepared at the premises. Himself hot foots it back; what a treat!! Hot Beef pizza smothered in spicy beef, pepperoni and jalapenos; cheesy garlic bread just the right balance of component parts. As for the pizza bases - wow!! Not too thin, but cooked to perfection. Not a bit of sogginess in sight! Highly recommended.

Decent food, vegetarian choice, local delivery. They are often busy so leave the phone off the hook, which can make getting through frustrating.

We've tried a lot of fast food places on our travels but whenever we're in Filey we order from Spinners. It's always good.

Not the kind of kebabs we are use to but they where very tasty. Hardly any fat on them. But be warned, the garlic sauce is very potent! The staff where friendly enough. We would visit again.

Visited spinners whilst we were at the caravan! The food was lovely and tasty! The pizza I had was amazing!! Full of flavour! My partner had a kebab and that was just as good! No grease in sight! Lovely!! Will defiantly have again when back!!

Only a 3 minute drive away but kebab was almost cold on my return which was a shame as I was hoping to leave a better review for what is my nearest takeaway. Ironically, I had previously ordered a Chinese from 50yards further down the road and on that return I burned my mouth as the food was piping hot lol So there is no excuse really.Sauces should be ordered at the same time and they are added to the kebab then wrapped. If you want them separate then it is 30p extra per sauce. Pitta bread is extra too.Takeaway was very busy with most people ordering pizza's .... lesson learned for next time perhaps.I will give it one more try and failing that then Filey is a little further but the kebabs are a lot better - and work out cheaper.
