Enjoyed the atmosphere of this pub. The Thursday night fish and chip van and Friday pub quiz were great. Will definitely return. Thankyou you made our break in Yorkshire more enjoyable.

Great Sunday lunch food excellent and swift service. Cosy atmosphere and staff friendly and helpful it's definitely worth a visit.

My Wife and I recently attended a wedding at 'The Barn'. Fabulous venue, food and service, would highly recommend. We all had a great day however one issue regarding the bar prices, many of the guest's commented on the high prices. That was the only negative, beyond that great, Many thanks for a wonderful day.

We visited the waterfall on Saturday the 27th July 24. My husband is Diebetic and his numbers was low so we decided to pop into the pub for a drink. Unfortunatly the pub was closed due to an electrical issue and the young man that was there went and got my husband and I a couple of cokes free of charge to help with his blood sugar levels. Just this kind act says everything about this pub and we will ensure on our next visit we will pop in for some food. Thank you again to the young member of staff for helping someone in need.

Visited without booking on a very business Saturday evening between Xmas and new year, 3 of us and 2 dogs. The pub was VERY busy. Dogs are welcome in the bar side and even though it was busy, we were found a space and then moved to a bigger table when one became available. The menu says ‘home made’ on everything, and everything is genuinely home made. You don’t come across cosy pubs like this very often with proper home cooked food. The portions were enormous, quick to come out, piping hot. We couldn’t eat it all! Really loved the home cooked chips! Shame we live on the other side of the country and can’t visit more often, it would definitely be a regular visit

We have regularly visited for lunch. Today very very disappointed with our lunch. Ordered scampi. This was not scampi, not sure what it was looked like something spongy. We should have complained at once but both hungry. We had already waited nearly 30 minutes after ordering and had already enquired where are order was. As regular customers we know that service is always slow and haphazard. There never seems to be enough staff or organisation at the counter. Altogether a very disappointing experience.
