My Wife and I recently attended a wedding at 'The Barn'. Fabulous venue, food and service, would highly recommend. We all had a great day however one issue regarding the bar prices, many of the guest's commented on the high prices. That was the only negative, beyond that great, Many thanks for a wonderful day.

After a cold trip round the Folk museum we popped in here for a warming brew. Priced very good especially after the discount you get from the folk museum admission ticket. Very friendly family and although we didn't try the cakes some very nice ones were on offer. Welcoming place would recommend a visit.

I had my wedding at the barn bistro on 29th July this year in the tipi around the back. It was amazing, staff were amazing through out all the planning till when the night ended, food was gorgeous, presented well, everyone had a great day and night. Definatley recommend to anyone thinking of having their wedding reception here. The Tipi was fabulous :-)

Have visited this lovely cafe bistro a few times. Really nice environment with good food. After planning to meet there and have lunch, was disappointed to find on our arrival that it is now closed. A notice on the door advising the outside catering had taken priority. What a shame.

Didn't know I was going here but it was a nice surprise. From outside its just a barn, but inside the wrinkly lights are gorgeous and I think in the evening will look spectacular. It's olde worse inside with a log fire.

We went to the Barn for lunch and when we walked in we were a little dubious as we were the only ones in. But we did not need to worry as it soon filled up. What a delightful find it was. We had attentive service from a very charming and polite young man. Delicious food and on a very bleak North Yorkshire day the log burner was blazing. Great place, well done to all concerned.

Sooooooo ,,,,,,Been trying to make it to this place for so long!!! FINALLY we got there and were not disappointed!!! Firstly walking in to this gorgeous twinkley barn! The seating fabulous and whole set out lovely. We were there with friends with 2 small children and our children. The owner was lovely letting them all play outside. The menu superb! Something for a just quick snack or larger meal with plenty of choice and lots of other different things too! Food tasted fantastic and was served looking amazing and to very high standards!! We will for sure be visiting again, as it was also so lovely to be met by such wonderful and friendly staff, who obviously all enjoyed there job and staff got on so well. Thank you!

Booked table ready and waiting for 2pm lunch. The main service period was over so had almost undivided attention of staff. Burgers and fish and chips ordered, but these are the real thing ,fresh, meaty and exceptionally tasty.....not our usual fare but excellent in taste and quantity. Shortish menu ,maybe 6 for each course ,nothing over fancy just quality plates ,seems owners know their customers and market. There was a wait of around 15-20 mins but everything freshly cooked from the kitchen.. Not entirely sure how the team would cope with a full restaurant. Would certainly visit again main courses around £10 ,paying for quality.

Our daughter took us to The Barn on Christmas Eve (2016) for a lunchtime meal. My wife had 'smoked haddock with poached eggs'. This comes with a hollandaise sauce - which my wife did not have; preferring her food plain. On this occasion my wife would have scored the meal 5 out of 5. The piece of haddock on that occasion had been a reasonable size, nicely cooked, and hot. However, we went again on Saturday 4th Feb to celebrate our granddaughters birthday, this time it was quite the contrary. My wife selected the same dish based upon her previous experience. But this time it was a much smaller piece of haddock, that was dry and almost cold. The eggs similarly had very little heat in them. With or without the sauce the food should have been hot. She said that she would struggle to give it a 1 out of 5 on that occasion. Had I known at the time I would have complained, but didn't find out until later; having left the location. The food is not cheap at this 'bistro' and, as such, should be a better standard than that my wife received. This has been crossed off our places to eat list.

Being fairly regular visitors to the Barn we were rather surprised to be turned away this morning because unbeknown to us we had arrived 15 minutes before opening time at 11 am. Now we have visited the Barn for morning coffee several times over the past two or three months ( as recently as three or four weeks ago) always at the same time of about 10.45, we are assuming that opening time has changed since our last visit. We walked in, the Barn looked as pretty as ever, fairy lights twinkling, log burner blazing and we sat down at a nearby table, admittedly there were no other customers ( they obviously knew about the opening time change) but we just assumed it was quiet because it was a cold, miserable morning. A young waitress ( whom we had not seen before) appeared from behind the counter and we were then asked to leave as they were not open. On our way back out in to the car park we then noticed the opening times : 11am to 3 pm, our mistake. But surely, for good customer relations, why not just ask us to sit and wait for a few minutes until 11am, which we would have done quite happily. Not impressed, as locals we won't be back .The Yew Tree in Scalby village had our custom instead, where we received a warm friendly welcome.

My wife and I attended in December for lunch. We had seen some reviews online and thought why not! The barn's setting was lovely, and although we arrived at 12 noon, there were still a fair few customers enjoying a morning coffee and cake. We sat upstairs and found it difficult to choose what to have from the menu. The specials were also very tempting. In the end I opted for the burger ( I had seen a photo of it online, which swung my vote!), and the wife had a hot tuna sandwich. Both dishes arrived swiftly and the burger was immense, thick and juicy with all the trimmings. My wife's sandwich also looked really tasty, in home made focaccia bread. The chips were delicious as was the coleslaw. ! The only downside to the food was it was too filling to have one of the tasty looking cakes or scones, but we shall be back to try them! Service was great, our waitress was very helpful, and the bill was reasonable , just under £25 for two large meals and two drinks.Well worth a stop if you are passing by! By the time we left at 1pm the place was full, so book or get in early!

First went for lunch on Tuesday and had the hot roast beef sandwich special. The beef was lovely - tender, tasty and cooked to perfection. It was so good we decided to come back for Sunday lunch and booked there and then. My wife had a ham sandwich which was also excellent. The only negative was when my wife did as instructed by the menu and asked about their selection of cakes to be told there were none!Duly arrived for Sunday lunch. I had beef and my wife pork. The pork really was "with all the trimmings" with stuffing, crackling and apple sauce. The beef was with creamy homemade horseradish sauce. Lovely Yorkshire puddings with both and a gravy boat with great gravy. The vegetables were an amazing, plentiful, unusual selection, all piping hot. The meats were delicious and good portions. The beef is described on the menu as "pink" which it was - perfect for me.Throughout both visits the staff were efficient, pleasant and friendly. This was probably the finest Sunday lunch I have had away from home.

We reserved table here for lunch so we could gave a catch-up, we were shown upstairs to our table, it was fairly quiet then. The staff were pleasant and took our orders promptly, the wait for the food was not too long assuming it was being cooked fresh. I had the burger from the specials board, with blue cheese. It was very good and plenty large enough. It came with a bucket of skinny fries which were OK but a little anaemic. I also gad a coffee, which was good. My colleagues were happy with their food too. The room was getting busy by now but everyone appeared to be getting served quite quickly. I would return but hope the fries are a little better next time.

On Friday evenings (up to 1900hrs) through July and August the Barn are putting on Tapas evenings. For two with three dishes and a small jug of sangria the price is £20. We were easily tempted to have more with seven dishes between three and were not over filled. The variety of dishes was excellent: kalamari, mussels, belly pork, halloumi, flat bread with tomato and, fried potatoes. Well presented and service was prompt and courteous. Sangria (large) was very refreshing and full of fruit with very generous amount for three. The pork was well cooked, full of flavour and not too fatty. Served with beans with tomatoes in sauce. Halloumi and kalamari excellent as were mussels. Pre booking essential. Recommend try it while it lasts

We recently had Sunday lunch at the Barn with friends. There is plenty of parking, which is good as the Barn is often very busy. Two courses, starter & main or main and pudding, for £16.95 may seem steep until the food arrives and then it all becomes worthwhile. I had roast pork and a Yorkshire pudding with a selection of four separate vegetable choices. These included carrots and beetroot, roast potatoes, buttered cabbage and a delicious vegetable gratin served with good gravy and apple sauce. My wife had fish, chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. Both of us agreed that the food was very well cooked and the presentation was excellent. Two of our friends had roast beef, served rare, with horseradish cream. I had a taste of the latter and it was obviously home-made, tasting creamy with just a hint of horseradish 'bite'. Puddings were excellent too. My wife and I had Eton mess, which was very creamy, although it could have contained more meringue. I had water only, but it came in a glass bottle kept in a chiller. The barn also has two huge linked tipis, together with a separate bar, as a venue for celebrations including weddings. A viewing is recommended! Finally the owners have a pet greyhound, so that makes for another reason to like the Barn!

We came across this little gem by chance while on holiday. The place has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and the portions generous - neither of us could finish our meals. I chose a burger, which must have been 8" tall. It comprised a lovely bun, well cooked burger, cheese, 2 rashers of back bacon, green leaves and slices of tomato, served with a bucket full of skinny fries. My husband's scampi looked (and I'm told) tasted lovely. There were loads of pieces which were plump and moist. Called in for a drink on the way home from town and decided to order a scone to go with it. "Sorry we have sold the last scone." At 2 o'cock? Oh dear! As the menu also invited us to ask about today's selection of cakes, I asked about today's selection of cakes. "Sorry there are no cakes." Great! Meanwhile plates piled high with burgers and chips and fish and chips went past us at regular intervals. The Barn used to be such a cosy country cafe with a welcome as warm for those just wanting a coffee and cake as those wanting something more substantial. Settling for a cup of tea and a less than inspiring teacake for nearly £4 each, we wished we had followed the lead of another couple who came in asking after tea and cakes and who, on receiving the same brush off, turned tail and left. Perhaps the owners need to think about the kind of eating place they really want to be or at least have a few scones in the freezer at the height of the tourist season?

Came here recently with my husband following numerous positive comments from friends regards breakfast and lunch time menus. Had to try it for myself! The Barn itself is lovely inside with twinkling fairy lights and exposed beams, it has a rustic feel. Kath Kidson style accessories adorn the seating area with floral print cushions and napkins to match. Nice to see fabric napkins although the ditsy floral print not my taste. The gallery area busy with diners we were seated downstairs where we were alone with the exception of 3 young waitresses. I did find it quite uncomfortable because I was sat facing the rear of the room where the service counter is and as the young waitresses were not rushed off their feet they stood staring down the room towards the front door in anticipation of the arrival of diners. The waitresses were quite sullen, service with a smile would be nice! We received a smile upon paying out bill........tip perhaps? Ummm no.£16.95 for two courses and it was nicely presented. I have 2 criticisms if you can call them that;• provide a sharper dinner knife to cut the roast beef please, had to tear the beef apart• the mashed suede - well presumably that's what it was, it was served puréed with a consistency of baby food. Not at all pleasant, too sweet for our taste buds and a bit of texture would be nice.Enjoyed the broccoli and leek gratin, the peas and cabbage also. Desert I sampled the lemon cheesecake which was nice, lime sorbet and a biscuit. The lime sorbet was refreshing although sharper than my dinner knife! My husband had the mandarin Crete brûlée which he enjoyed served wth an orange sorbet. Didn't look as nice as mine!!Would I return? Maybe, I feel the room needs to be moved around in terms of seating to give a sense of privacy for diners rather than tables set up in rows down each side of the room. It's just not cosy!

I visited with my two kids including a small baby. The place is done out beautifully, really can't fault the decor. The food was fine, nothing special but fine. It was the service that really left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I asked for a highchair when I ordered and was made to feel like I was being a nuisance bearing in mind I was the only customer. They brought it and it was dirty and neither me or the waitress could work out how to fasten it so I gave up and balanced the baby on my knee which was difficult. I asked if I was able to book a table for the following day and was told they didn't have the booking book but would ring me. Still waiting for that call! Not that I would ever go back. The breakfast menu was very pricey for what it was and I was charged £15 for porridge, eggs on toast, tea and a glass of juice for me and my 7yr old. This included being charged £1.95!!! when I ordered an extra slice of toast. On paying I noticed there was a kids menu which I was never offered. I would advise the owners to employ older, more experienced waiting staff as the ones you have are really letting you down. They give the attitude that they don't really give a toss.

We arrived quite early as we hadn't expected to find anywhere straight away so when we arrived they hadn't started serving lunch but we were offered the menus to look at and the kids menu came with crayons so that kept them happy. The menu was good for lunch, with plenty of choice and the staff were accommodating when our kids chose to order from the main menu rather than the kids. By the time we'd finished it was getting busy and I can understand why; tasty food and good, friendly service all in a cosy environment, perfect - we will definitely return and have already recommended it to my parents who visit Scarborough quite a bit.

Bit of a disappointment this time. - It was billed as a Valentines Day Special 'with a Spanish Twist'. However it was just the normal Sunday lunch menu. My wife is gluten free and I phoned in advance to check that they could accommodate this. However the gluten free roast beef dinner consisted of the Yorkshire pudding being removed. Some of the veg still had breadcrumb topping and the gravy looked to have been thickened. Also the only sweet on offer was plain ice cream. When we left I said thank you to the staff but was not acknowledged. This restaurant is good quality, but they need to put themselves out a bit more if they want to retain customers.

we arrived in gale force winds! the log burner was very much welcomed! the food was just lovely, we did not wait too long and it was busy, a constant flow of customers in and out, Two of us had burgers, they were very nice topped with bacon and cheese in a brioche bun, the fish and chips went down a treat also, then one of us had butternut squash soup and a starter portion of wild mushroom risotto, all presented and tased beautiful, will definatley be paying another visit soon.

Visited yesterday with my husband and 4 year old.The place itself is beautiful, it's a rustic charming barn conversion with a roaring log fire. It was spotlessly clean throughout including the toilet. The food we all had was delicious and it was easy to see that they use good quality ingredients. I had smoked haddock, poached eggs, hollandaise and fried slices of potatoes.Husband had bacon sandwich and our child had beans on toast. Both my husband and son commented on the lovely bread that had been used. The staff were all lovely and accommodating and a pot of crayons and a colouring sheet was left to entertain our son.I loved it here and will visit again when in the area.

My sister treated me to lunch to celebrate my Birthday in the 8th of January. What a wonderful place the Barn is! It was a cold, wet day, so how lovely it was to be greeted by a huge wood burner, a friendly face and a warm, cosy atmosphere. Plenty of natural wood and fairy lights made it feel so comforting.I ordered Smoked Haddock with Poached Eggs and Holandais sauce, served with sautéed Potatoes. It was cooked to perfection! Fresh tasting and full of flavour- I could of eaten it again! My sister had the Scampi and she ate every bite, which is very rare for her! My 10 year old Neice also polished off her poached eggs on toast, after using the colouring sheet and crayons that staff had provided her with. Service was prompt and smooth, and the staff where very accommodating and friendly. I did not use the WC, but the place seemed immaculate and well kept. I will definitely be going again and again! I almost don't want to tell anyone else about it!

I Booked a table for 4 on Sunday 3rd of January, we arrived and the bistro was lovely and cosy with a roaring log fire. We all opted for the Roast Beef which was pink and extremely tender with lovely homemade yorkshire puddings and plenty of hot fresh vegetables all beautifully cooked with just the right amount of bite. Puddings were lovely too we opted for pavlova with mango and passionfruit and a wonderfully light sticky toffee pudding, all rounded off with coffees. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming although i can imagine they may struggle during a busy service (it was not terribly busy during our visit) but we found the experience unhurried (not slow) and enjoyable, just the thing on a wet wintry day when nothing is pressing other than a fine meal and good conversation.

I wish we had the opportunity to try the food. After arriving with my wife and daughter (a baby) we were told to take any table that wasn't reserved, either upstairs or downstairs, and they would bring us a high chair. After 10 minutes of waiting for the high chair and holding our baby, we gave up and left. In that time three waitresses walked past our table, without any acknowledgement, or to give us menus. Dire service.

What an amazing place on a cold winters day in November with the enormous log burner! They serve main meals to light snacks such as sandwiches so something to suit everybody, we had a homemade beer battered fish sandwich with tartar sauce and the BLT with fries and homemade tomato ketchup, delicious. Well worth visit.

Popped in with mum for a coffee break on a cold December morning. The log burner was a warm welcome for a start. The smiling waitress was another. The coffee with cream was lovely, hot and just as we like it. We were tempted by the scones in the display, and were pleased we did. Freshly baked (?) warm with a generous supply of real butter. Yummy. The cherry and almond didn't taste much of almonds other than a few on the top, but still delicious. 2 coffees and 2 scones came to £8.20 about the same as other places but tasted much better. I think we may be visiting again in the near future???

Called in by chance for a coffee on the way into Scarborough. I didn't find the front particularly appealing although once inside it was surprisingly cosy with the log fire burning. We had toasted teacake which I have to say was the best toasted teacake I have ever had. The latte was hot and hit the spot nicely too.My only criticism was the young waitress who was helpful however she presented herslf as someone who didn't really want to be there. But that aside we will return when in the area

I came on here to say how good the crab linguine and all the little bits of flowers and magic look on the plate. but it seems to me that some people/ haters (i smell a rat, in the way of a jealous business rival or an uneducated former employee). that have never had the honour of trying this fresh little number. i tried a simular dish at rick stein's restaurant, the seafood restaurant in padstow. Was very good however not a scratch on the barn's version. crab from a can? don't be so bloody daft, i saw the handsome young fellow with (i think they call it an undercut?) bring in a fishing crate full of live crab. yes this is a very silly title for a review, but sometimes you have to put funny things up on something that ''spaff bandits'' want to spoil. i love your crab linguine team, and i'll be back for many more

Fabulous, fantastic wedding on Saturday made all the more perfect by the best meal possible provided by The Barn Bistro. Clare and her slick team arrived at our venue on the dot and served the most delicious local produce. Roast beef cooked to perfection with all the trimmings. Chocolate torte and sweet tangy limoncello trifle. What a team. Professional service, unobtrusive friendly, helpful staff and they cleared away at the end. Thank you so much for helping make our daughters wedding a day she and her husband will always remember. Cannot recommend you highly enough. Best wishes.

Paid another visit to this rather wonderful bistro nestled on the north Yorkshire coastline just outside of Scarborough. A warm welcome always awaits and the boutique style interior always delights. The special on offer was pea risotto with sea bream. Absolutely delish, cooked to order and very little time to wait. Only just had room to sample a new addition: Sticky toffee pudding cup cakes. Are you drooling? We certainly were! We had to take the blackcurrant macaroons home, along with the lemon curd variety too....we had no room left. They were divine. The wine complimented our meal perfectly. The staff were attentive yet unobtrusive, friendly and warm. Superb as ever.

Two of us came on a Thursday afternoon. About six others in. Quickly shown to table. Ordered drinks and food. I had crab linguine. The pasta had been partially cooked then finished off I think as several strands were stuck together. This left the pasta ranging from al Dente to crunchy in places. Could not taste the crab or chilli at all. Just olive oil. The crab looked like stirred through cheap tinned flakes. Not good. Daughter had soup of the day which was spinach, potato and feta. It was quite tasty but needed more salt in the opinion of both of us. Dessert was merengue with ice cream. Basic. Nothing good or bad. Bill was 28 quid. Service good. Will come again but will steer clear of the pasta.

We recently attended a wedding reception at this location (wow) amazingly decorated the marquee was beautiful decorated, the food was the best I've ever had at a wedding, the staff were busy but always smiling friendly and helpful. To be honest this day restored my faith to this establishment,we attended here years ago before it was taken over by new management and was so disappointed we didn't return , now we can't wait to return. The vintage caravan for ladies to pamper in a great touch. The band were fantastic Leaving me to say what a perfect day we had and so did all guests we spoke to everything rolled into a special venue for a special day (well done staff, band manager and bride and groom )I have to say I am baffled by a review dated 25th August reading it seams completely the opposite to what we experienced as guests to the same wedding. Surely the bride and groom would be passing judgment if they had felt so much injustices?

Please please ignore the review dated 25 August slating this beautiful venue. I was at that wedding n it was the most magical, beautiful idyllic wedding day. I also helped to dress the venue with weeding decorations the night before and feel the comment was totally unjust. The staff were completely committed to the bride, groom and guests the moment we all arrived. The food was exquisite, the service was impeccable and the owners couldn't do enough for us. They too had an early start and a long day ahead of them but that didn't stop them tending to the finest of details. They even managed to decorate and dress the most beautiful little caravan as a powder/ chill out room in vintage 50's decor and trinkets!! It was truly amazing and I want one at the bottom of my garden. I hope I have restored faith in the proprietors and staff of this absolutely beautiful bistro and also in future visitors, Charlotte and Andrew

I attended my friends wedding reception that was held at The Barn. The service was fantastic. The owner allowed us to dress the marquee as we wanted. The weather the day before was awful so Claire the owner offered to dress outside for us on the morning of the wedding as well as doing everything else she needed to do that day.The day reception went well with the food being perfect and the staff being very attentive throughout. Every small detail that my friends wanted were catered for.Local beer was on tap and was served with a smile The large band even managed to fit in the marquee and kept us all up dancing. If I could find anything negative it would be that the main building isn't big enough for a large wedding but if you want a small intermate setting with personal service and smiley happy staff this is the place to go.Every little thing was catered for even down to a vintage caravan for the ladies to patch up their lippy :)

We recently went to a wedding here, the venue was beautiful but the staff, specifically the owner was extremely rude and treated the wedding as a standard day. She moaned about the decorations going up, but then decided that she would use them for a wedding fair she was conveniently holding the next day! She even wanted the flowers to be left! She didn't bother to greet the guests and show them to the marque, she didn't make any announcements despite being requested to. This led to the cake not being handed out as well as many other things!!!! This venue wasn't cheap and a lot of money and time had obviously been spent arranging and decorating the venue, yet she still thought it was acceptable to charge the bride £2.50 for a crappy cup of coffee the night before the wedding when she was decorating. She never offered to help just stood around huffing and puffing frequently asking when we were finishing. The owner needs to learn how to speak to people and to learn a certain level of respect for customers paying a lot of money to her! Especially the bride and groom!!! Go for an evening meal but DO NOT book your wedding here!!!!

Since last reviewing The Barn we have been back on several occasions and have always enjoyed excellent food and service. We particularly enjoyed the Hog Roast when the Tour de Yorkshire passed by and it was good to see that the specially created ' Wiggo Burger' was retained on the menu. Sunday lunch is always a pleasure and and the selection of seasonal vegetables is always prepared with an interesting twist. The menu is varied and ranges from light bites and upmarket sandwiches to delicious and substantial lunches. Since the food is prepared to order this is not the place to be if you want to dash in and out in double quick time. However the coffee is excellent and the wine and beer are even better. So place your order and chill. The best things in life are worth waiting for. If you are not seriously hungry then you may have a problem. You wouldn't want to pass on the starters but you'll be sorry if you miss out on the delicious desserts. Take my advice: starve yourself in anticipation and run through the card. The Barn maintains a consistently high standard and is well worth seeking out if you are not familiar with the area.

Living in Scarborough we have a great choice of restaurants and bistros. Having been lucky in life to have eaten in some of the best eateries across the UK. We went bye chance to the Barn. What a find. Starters of crab and prawn served on a bed of fresh and crisp salad with a topping of crispy noodle dressed with ginger and lemon grass it was superb. Followed with a main course of smoked haddock accompanied with two soft poached eggs saute potatoes and hollandaise sauce. The meal was superb. The staff attentive and keen to serve. Whilst in Scarborough we popped to the beautiful spot set in a converted barn, just outside of town (a car is a must to get to this spot, unless you walk along the Cleveland way). The food choice was good, but no vegetarian or children's options. The service was good, friendly and quick. If I had to look for a fault it was the drinks prices. My wife bought a lovely bottle of a trendy soft drink and I went for the diet coke. The price for both are the same (£1.95), hers came and it was in a nice big bottle, mine was a single can of diet coke... for the same price. Another puzzle was the mix of up to date chart music playing. In such a beautiful setting, I would have though more suitable music would have been light background music, not the top 40.But the food was the real winner. Perfection.

My mother, myself and my toddler decided to call in to The barn for lunch on wednesday as a treat for my mums birthday, on the way home from scarborough as we had never been before. I shall not be returning. The building and setting are lovely but staff need to wake up and organise themselves. Very slow service. Two up front a lady and a young man. Could see atleast another two in the kitchen! We ordered some drinks and a chicken burger with fries and a bbq pulled pork baguette with winter slaw and fries. Whilst waiting for the food we played with the crayons and colouring menu given to us. My son dropped afew crayons so I went under the table to pick them up. The floor was filthy. Thick with dust and stale food crumbs. The table leg was cacked in muck and once I returned to the top of the table I saw how dusty the table top was too. I had to clean the table top with an antibac wet wipe it was so bad. The cutlery were water marked and stained so we didnt use them, the glasses were very scratched and the paper napkins were cheap, considering the price of the meals. The food arrived in a reasonable time and presented nicley. But my mums bbq pulled pork was not as it was described, the baguette had been squashed in a panni press and was served with a bean salad, fruit salad and No fries ever came. My chicken burger was tasty but not easy to eat, as the chicken breast had not been flattened, just a whole (small) breast in the bread with salad leaves and i was disappointed that the fries arrived already salted. All being said if u didnt look too closely, was not in a rush and had a full wallet then it was ok. But, on the whole I felt it was pretensious and in need of a good clean.
