The best restaurants in Central Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Had to check it out after hearing good reports. Had a fantastic meal here. Very plentiful, fresh grilled meat. The Pide was amazing and a first for us. Would recommend.

I have recently collected takeaway here twice within a week and felt compelled to right a review to say what brilliant fish & chips they serve. Beautiful flavour, freshly cooked and very kind owner and staff. The portion sizes are very generous and the place is immaculately clean too. I definitely look forward to returning in the future. Lovely little bar. So friendly and welcoming, we stayed in Scarborough for 4 nights and went here twice, we would have gone again but they don't open at the beginning of the week. Food was delicious....the loaded fries were great and my mum said the halloumi salad was the best she'd ever had! The cheese/charcuterie boards are a decent size and very good value.Nice ales too. It's only small so would recommend booking.

All great apart from One bag of chips missing, and your phone was dead when we were trying to ring you...but first problem we have had, and usually brilliant.

Seriously good hot and cold sandwiches delicious pies hot food soup etc. Cakes also good especially their vanilla slices and Bakewell slices. Staff really pleasant.

I went to Ashbrown's with my husband and father-in-law for the first time for a nice breakfast and loved it! Everyone there is so nice and the food is gorgeous - we highly recommend the sausage sandwiches and eggs royal, delicious :)

Looked like a ran over squirrel with beef Pate spread all over it, the food was alright though.

We went tonight to the cactus for something to eat. We had a great time. Young Ruby will make anyone feel welcome. The food was outstanding. The atmosphere was VERY chilled. When we come back to Scarborough we will definitely come back to the cactus 🌵

Had a lovely meal here as always. Staff were attentive and polite. Lucy on the bar was a real asset to the team and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend for a nice meal out.

Yet again another fantastic lunch. The chillie tomatoes soup is delicious 😋 its a meal in itself. Lovely atmosphere, lovely friendly service, great menu.
