The best restaurants in Wickersley Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

Ordered a garlic naan donner yesterday and when picking up a selected time the donner was cold & burnt ends from grill. No salad when requested salad with. Now been up early hours throwing up and now loosing a days pay. Disappointed and won't be coming again.

Great food. Friendliness from service staff is to be desired

Great traditional pub, with some specialised ales too, not that I like them, prefer lager myself! Gets busy most nights, but so at the weekend. Tends to show sporting events if they're on, football, rugby, darts, etc with TVs scattered around the bar for viewing from almost anywhere. Having fairly recently been refurbished, the decor is light and airy and not so dingy that other traditional pubs tend to be. The landlord does a lot for the local community and regular events are hosted here, especially in the warmer months. Lots of the events are kid friendly too.

03/10/24 Something seriously wrong when customers were waiting 25 minutes plus for orders to be fulfilled.

Ordered at 5.15 told within the hour for delivery, waited 1hr30 to be told driver be 5 mins, then 30 mins later got told can I wait bit longer as driver not back, errrm no cancel my order 👎

The BEST pizza we’ve ever had, the bases are so fluffy and cooked to perfection

Order from Shiraz every week.The food is off the scale and the people working there are utter pro’s who take their job very seriously. Delivery drivers are rapid and all legends. Our sons away at uni and when he’s back all he says is “can we have a Shiraz?” Honestly- there is nowhere 1/2 as good as Shiraz.

Came for my birthday and Wow, the restaurant looked amazing great atmosphere, The food was outstanding and the staff were so friendly they couldn’t do enough for you. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Came after the parade and ordered food after a few drinks, great staff, great food and remembrance bits which I thought was a nice touch

Been there a few times and to be honest the chicken was always cooked the best, not dripping in fat like many others I've been, staff have been fine even when I ordered a side wrong they gave me what I wanted and said keep the other so yeah I can not fault them just wondering why it's now closed down

Very slow service, way dearer than other outlets on every item and boxed Belgian buns were well past their best. Shouldn't have been sold as stale

Why can we not sit inside in this greggs we are expected to sit outside in the rain NOT FUNNY lovely sausage rolls and coffee we are expected to eat them in the car park
