The best restaurants in Wickersley Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

Lovely food here, travel from Sheffield for their menu since my local (same menu) closed.

We have in the past ordered chicken kormas which have been good, last year I complained about one order being watery and felt that the chicken was frozen not fresh. He didn’t seem happy and said no one else had complained but had agreed to saying I owe you one korma. 5 or 6 weeks later I went in to claim the korma but asked for nan breads in it’s place so didn’t have one that visit. He didn’t remember this but reluctantly gave it to me. Now on the 1st of feb 2025 I ordered 2 kormas, the first since the complaint. Unfortunately they are the same, watery and chicken has the texture of being frozen. My wife said to take it back but from his previous attitude it wouldn’t do any good, so I have decided I won’t be going back again. £7.50 per portion of frozen chicken isn’t acceptable, I know fresh chicken and that’s not it. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt but twice is enough.

Worst McDonald's I have ever visited slow mess orders up a lot lazy staff hate this McDonald's with a passion I'd prefer to drive out of my way than go to this one

Order from Shiraz every week.The food is off the scale and the people working there are utter pro’s who take their job very seriously. Delivery drivers are rapid and all legends. Our sons away at uni and when he’s back all he says is “can we have a Shiraz?” Honestly- there is nowhere 1/2 as good as Shiraz.

Absolutely shocking! Meat tasted funny and chewy! The full family binned the whole thing £35 total waste of money would never eat here again! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!! Vile!!

Lovely staff and food was great best steak I'd had for ages. Cooked perfectly and even the fried onions were cooked ...yummy

P the woman was very rude the presentation was very bad hardly add anything in service awful the next time I'll come here I'm only going to have a coffee in a cake I'm having any food from here because preparation and service time is awful

Been there a few times and to be honest the chicken was always cooked the best, not dripping in fat like many others I've been, staff have been fine even when I ordered a side wrong they gave me what I wanted and said keep the other so yeah I can not fault them just wondering why it's now closed down

Very slow service, way dearer than other outlets on every item and boxed Belgian buns were well past their best. Shouldn't have been sold as stale

Why can we not sit inside in this greggs we are expected to sit outside in the rain NOT FUNNY lovely sausage rolls and coffee we are expected to eat them in the car park
