I fancied a curry. Unit looked a bit dilapidated and in need of a refurb but I thought this shows the authenticity of a long standing take away. Prices looked ok. Ordered meat briyani. Rice came seperate from the vegetable sauce. Meat was tough. Next day had a painful violent diaherra sh!t. Would not eat here again.

Heard good things about the food here so we ordered a takeaway to collect. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. At best it was bland & lukewarm at worst it was inedible & ended up in the bin. Maybe it was an off night for the chef but don’t think we’ll risk it again.

Best Indian in the area. Authentic curries and never ever been disappointed. The best Chicken pakoras I've ever tasted. Lovely staff and garlic nan is to die for. You'll not be disappointed. Creamy Korma (not overly coconutty) chunky chips (never soggy or dry) I'd recommend chicken tikka chasmi for something non spicy but different. Team always helpful. I've never had a bad meal in the years I've been here.

Tried this as a takeaway for the first time following recommendations from people in the village. Service was good and delivery was as indicated and quite fast. Food order was accurate but wasn’t to my taste. I ordered prawn Pathia which is something I have tried at various restaurants and you do usually get something other than just prawns and a very runny sauce. The dish is supposed to be sweet, sour and sometimes spicy. This was just sour - the sauce just tasted of vinegar - to the point that it was inedible after a few mouthfuls. There were a few prawns in the sauce and nothing else. Got to say my experience was not as good as that of others who have given reviews. I can’t remember what my wife had but hers was OK but she wasn’t particularly impressed. Overall we were disappointed by the food. Perhaps other dishes would have been better or we just got them on a bad day. Given three stars based on the overall service despite not enjoying the food.

Induz is by far the best Indian takeaway that I’ve tried, never had a bad one from here, quality food.

I ordered from Indus for the first time in a long time. I had sheekh kebab, Chicken tikka Garam masala. It was delivered in the 30 minutes they said when ordering. Also the food was hot on arrival, plus really tasty and delicious, you could taste the spices in the dishes. I will be using again and recommend to any one.

We have just ordered from Induz, we were told 1 hour delivery, the food arrived early. It was hot and so very fresh, the vegetables in the curries still had bite to them. All three curries had totally different flavours, the rice was cooked perfectly, the naan bread was big and cooked lovely and the garlic chapaties were fab. I would recommend this takeaway to anyone !!!!!

Went to Induz take away first time in years. Couldn't believe it got a starter prawn puree really large and a chicken curry with chips really delicious all for only £7

It started ok with starter Seek kebab little over done, then tasted the curry lamb madras with onion nann bread. The bread was soggy and tasteless the curry my daughter of 11 could of done better really madras ????? It was hot in taste with oil floating in oil total shambles ....................... Worst curry ever . go to Shaplas in sheff proper curry night....

After reading all the great reviews decided to give induz a try firstly the starter mixed kebab which was onion bhaji a round crozzled up thing that looked like a burger and a long piece of meat with a hole in it also tough ,dont know what that was and another small bhaji it also came with a hot salad .Then we opened the curries lamb bhuna and lamb rogan josh two of our favourites looked exactly the same with a few peppers and onions on top of the rogan josh i have never been so disappointed with the taste im sorry to say it was bland and the meat was chewy so this was my first and last visit to induz

great menu, very good food. the garlic tikka sandwich is amazing, tasty curries, and come very hot (heat wise )would recommend to any one

I had a nice takeaway from here .......easy walking distance from the ibis hotel. Good starter , and main , rice & garlic chapati too !!!

I have to say Induz is the best indian takeaway in the area and we have tried them all , we have a induz every friday or saturday night and are never dissapointed the service is great and delivery time is quick .

5 star cleanliness 5 star food worth a try beware make sure it's the indus not the one over the road

The food is always consistently good, whether it be a take away or eaten in the restaurant. All the staff are helpful and friendly. I would highly recommed this restaurant and they have now started doing deliveries. Worth a visit - you won't be disappointed.

Food was a delight, could not get enough of the garlic naan, absolutely delicious! The curry I got was recommend by the guy behind the counter and it was fantastic. Good delivery time and great food!

Used to be really nice then went really down hill but it's getting better again, the nan breads are spot on and the curry's are really tasty.

This food is so tasty,so hard to believe the negative comments. If you don't try,then you are missing out big time. Not sure about the pizza's as not tried yet,but it is an Indian Cuisine,so its just the curries that I am interested in. Naan breads with extra garlic definateley the best ever tasted,dipped into a chicken tikka garam massala,yum yum. Keep up the good work George and the gang.

Unfortunately I cannot write anything nice about this take away!We had a curry on the first visit and that was awful! It was tasteless and cold. The naan bread was hard. When I phoned up to complain they were not bothered!However I tried again. I went in and ordered and cannot say that it was any better! Bland and dry! The staff were rude and will not be recommending it to anyone!

Ordered from there last night and sad to say, will never again order food from them again. The naan breads were delicious but were let down badly by the main dishes themselves. Meat was tough, the curry sauce itself was poor consistency and resembled in both look and taste to be passata with garlic and a couple of spices (not many), but predominantly chilli. If I had to guess why it was so bland, I would say they had forgotton to add or had actually run out of curry gravey base sauce seeing as both mains had the same bland opaque, pureed tomato taste and consistency.Will stick to cooking my own if this is all there is to offer out there Since Kamerans Tandoori Hut closed.1 star given for Naans, food hot, 40 mins delivery and average priced food which becomes expensive when mains a of such poor quality. Never again, the dishwasher must have stood in for the Chef last night.Lance.

Induz food used to be excellent and we have been coming here for years but am afraid it has gone downhill. Vegetable samosas aren't very tasty just chopped potato no spices and pastry like cardboard. My main course chicken tikka balti although tasty had a staple in it which I bit on and thankfully didn't swallow. My Dad had Chicken Madras which has watery insipid sauce and not very spicy at all. Standards have gone downhill big time - what a shame!

Had a meal from here last weekend and have to say, it was delicious! Well cooked chicken tikka karahai (highly recommended!... The sauce was just the right the amount of sweet and spice). Naan was big and more than enough for one person and the egg rice was also good. Poppodoms and onion salad were a perfect starter. No issues with delivery, was advised on the phone how long it would take and came within that time. Very reasonably priced considering other local takeaways in the area, especially given the quality of the food. Would definitely order from them again!

Had a great Chicken Tikka Jalandhari, cooked with decent spice but a lot of taste. Ordered a garlic naan which was obviously cooked in a Tandoor. The whole meal was reasonably priced and arrived within the time the chap on the phone told me. Would fully recommend this for anyone wanting a very nice curry full of taste and flavor.

Ordered a take away and fifteen minutes later, 2 starters and 2 mains and a rice arrived. Starter was stodgy and all deep fried,greasy. The mains were very poor, fatty lamb and the same thick tomato-y sauce on both mains which should have been different altogether. Won't eat here again

We recently ordered a take out from here mainly due to the amount of menu's we receive through the letterbox.The delivery was quick but the food not very good.The onion bhaji tasted bitter, and the curry was thick like a puree and the pilau rice felt a bit greasy on the palate.The only enjoyment I got was from the naan bread which was a bit charred in places and very authentic being cooked in a tandoor oven and I liked this,shame about the rest including the price.

Ordered a "meat" Bhuna, pilau rice and some onions bhajis over the phone to pick up. The man who took my order seemed completely bored while he took my order. The curry was bland and the meat was very very tough. The bhajis were ok but the salad they came with was limp and old. The yogurt sauce was very very watered down too. It also smells or urine as you go in. Really gross! Get some bleach and clean up!I will never go in here again.

My Fridand and I were recommended The Induz by the lady in the local shop who couldn't sing their praises enough. We took a menu home and ordered our usual favourite and waited..and waited..and waited. An hour and a half after ordering, two phone calls later, and it arrived, stone cold, and delivered by a very rude delivery driver who didn't even give us out change!! The curries were cold, the meats within them were rock hard, and the bread solid. The "complimentry" popidoms were stale. I rung the takeaway to make a complaint but they wouldn't hear of it, insisting the food was fresh and steaming hot when it left them..and even accused me of lying about the delivery driver walking away with nearly five pounds of our chnage.to summarise, I'd rather go hungry than eat here again. I was so appauled with the food and service, when the lady in the shop asked me how our curries were she got both barrels!AVOID AT ALL COST!

Never used this take away before but have recently moved so wanted a take away that would deliver to the house. Its safe to say that we were very disappointed we love Indian food and know our curries however this was the worst we have ever tried we ordered a chicken and a lamb curry the lamb was so tough and dry and the sauce was very very sweet which we thought was unusual for a madras the Gobi aloo was also covered in the same sickly sauce ??? The food wasn't cheap as well this was one of the dearest ones we have tried but we have had so much better quality before there are better Indian take-a ways out there !!!!
