Went with my daughter today flower arranging in pumpkins. We have a lovely time and a lovely tea. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Ate at the Alder Tree tonight for the first time, and what a great meal. Had the nachos to share for starter, this was plenty, then the steak with scampi and the mixed grill and wine, plus a couple of drinks to start with all for under £50.00. Beautiful meal well served, so couldn't fault. Will definitely be regulars in the future. Well done all the staff, you deserve it.

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. AMAZING PLACE with great food,beautifully decorated, beautifully presented..And the two who run it shaune and Jane are first class.Really no hesitation going back again and again. THANK YOU BOTH for the best day.xx

Fantastic fast service. gets busy at lunchtimes. not just fried food does great salad stuff that fills you in decent quantities.

Our Wath-Upon-Deane WI ladies had a really good time today! We go out about once a month for breakfast, brunch. lunch, coffee and cake or whatever! We really enjoy our times out at we look for places that our members can eat what they want. Some have their main meal at lunchtime and some just what a snack- like lunch. This place is wonderful. Our gluten-free member was well supported ( prior notice needed). Thank you - you are amazing -we booked for 10 and only 8 were able to turn up -but was not a problem! We will be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

Ya know something it used to be an alright take away but past 2 times iv ordered its just been stupid prices for such little things portions are crap food was terrible I'm sorry but that's last time ima order from there

Used to order from here all the time but moved to a different Chinese. Thought we'd give here a try as it's been a while, wish we hadn't bothered. Ordered a special fried rice and special chow mein. The rice was bland, and I mean bland, no seasoning or taste at all. The special chow main, same, it was also meant to have sauce, it literally looked like they'd shown the chow mein the sauce then thought let's not bother. To top it off, you have to now order over £25 for prawn crackers, our order was £23.80, so when turned up, no prawn crackers, used to be £18 for free crackers. So yeah, if your looking to order from here after time away, don't bother. Waste of money and snap.

We have cinnamon 2/3 times a month and usually can’t fault it but this is the 2nd time I’ve ordered the Thai king prawn masala which is £12 and received 2 prawns. Very disappointed! Hate leaving bad reviews as we love this place but this is the 2nd time it’s happened.
