Used to order from here all the time but moved to a different Chinese. Thought we'd give here a try as it's been a while, wish we hadn't bothered. Ordered a special fried rice and special chow mein. The rice was bland, and I mean bland, no seasoning or taste at all. The special chow main, same, it was also meant to have sauce, it literally looked like they'd shown the chow mein the sauce then thought let's not bother. To top it off, you have to now order over £25 for prawn crackers, our order was £23.80, so when turned up, no prawn crackers, used to be £18 for free crackers. So yeah, if your looking to order from here after time away, don't bother. Waste of money and snap.

Updated for end of 2024. Used to come here every couple of months for years and was always great, but after last order, sustained food poisoning that took me out for a few days. I was the only person in the family to eat anything from here, and the only person who fell ill. Would have thought this a one off, but couple of reviews have mentioned issues recently. Also concerned to see that whereas they used to always have a 5 star food hygiene rating, they've been awaiting inspection for some time.

1st time ordering & was horrible would not recommend for no one

i usually order from here all the time and it’s perfect, not a thing i wouldn’t change but however i ordered it last night and me and another ate it and around 3am this morning we were frantically throwing up and it turns out we have food poisoning!

Second time ordering, had to order for collection as don't deliver to rawmarsh. But only took 10 mins from calling to picking up the food. Really enjoyed both times everything spot on. Plenty left over for tomorrow!

Food is very tasty nd always delivered on time. Great value and generous portions! It has become our go to chinese takeaway. In 2 years, no food from here has ever gone to waste in our house :)

Ordered late in the evening and it was delivered by a chinese man who was very rude. Food was cold when I went to eat it. Will not be ordering again.

After trying all Chinese takeaways in the area for the last 9 years. Finally got one that didn't go in the bin. Best in Wath, Brampton, Swinton and Mexbrough by miles.. .

This was the worst Chinese me and my wife have ever had ,both had the same meal from these people and we both ended up running to toilet all day .When my wife served it up it looked terrible will never buy any more from these people,and this is not the first time it has happened.We tryed agin tonight took 13 mins from leaving home in car to ordering and getting home did not have time to sit down and was told it's ready??????. I got in with both not warm so we nuckyed this and it stunk so agin it went in bin should have took it back but it's waste of time as we found out before.Never will go back and hope people read this

The best by far, really good oriental food I've actually been to Hong Kong and China and it's better than over there, try it for yourselves.

Recently moved to Swinton and this Chinese is pretty close. Will now be our go to Chinese. Food was amazing. If had to criticise anything it would be too much sauce in the crispy beef but honesty can’t complain with it. Was great food and piping hot. Recommended. See you soon.

Always order from here and usually nice food. But tonight ordered 2 portions of crispy duck and it was disgusting so dry and hard . Very disappointing.

Tuesday and want a Chinese........ OK we'll have to order from somewhere else then. The difference in quality was very noticeable. Taste of China is the one we usually go for. Really tasty good food with plenty of flavour. The one I got tonight from elsewhere was really bland! I thought I only ever seem to leave reviews when I'm not satisfied and take for granted the ones I like so here is a good review. Keep up the good work.

Ordered special curry and a portion of chips and spring rolls and my when dished out found a long black hair in curry 😡

Ordered 5 times for delivery. Tried a range of meals all been good quailty, tasty and delivered on time or early. Wouldn't order from anywhere else for Chinese now. Thanks to all the staff and delivery drivers for keeping up the high standards trough these trying times.

Got to say, best Chinese takeaway around. Best quality food, fresh and tastiest by far. We have sampled other places, but none compare to here. These offer the very best Chinese food from many different regions of China to give the customer a true Taste of China

Nice food, open kitchen, fast service.

So I order chicken and cashew nuts and got a squid and some sort of fishy looking embryo in it. Never had that before in my Chinese.

Not had any bad food from this place and always delivered within the time they said.

Consistently good quality food. My favourite is the Cantonese Sweet and Sour Pork but I have tried other dishes and have never been disappointed. My compliments to the chef.
