Cinammon in Rotherham

We have cinnamon 2/3 times a month and usually can’t fault it but this is the 2nd time I’ve ordered the Thai king prawn masala which is £12 and received 2 prawns. Very disappointed! Hate leaving bad reviews as we love this place but this is the 2nd time it’s happened.

We are regular customers never been disappointed service and food is always top notch. The lamb is extremely tender. Definitely our 1st choice indian restaurant

This is our second visit to Cinamon - we love to go for a chilled out Sunday evening Deal at with pre-drinks before elsewhere and the deal that they offer for £15.00+ each on Wednesdays and Sundays - We have a Pickle Tray and Poppadum's then the starter - main - side dish and rice and bread. The staff are always very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble - service is excellent and the food is piping hot and excellent portion sizes for the price. The toilets are very clean and the overall restaurant is lovely. We would highly recommend to friends, family or if your new to trying cinamon.

The overall dining experience was disappointing, with subpar service, lackluster food, and an unappealing atmosphere. Despite being a small restaurant, the noise level was high, and the staff's constant hustle made conversation challenging. The food, comprising 2 curries, 3 naan breads, chips, and 2 rice dishes, took an unusually long hour to arrive. The curries were overly sweet, resembling commercial Kormas with minimal spice, and had a smooth texture reminiscent of jarred sauces. The overcooked chicken suggested prolonged heating, and the rice tasted like packaged convenience rice. Only the naan breads were palatable due to their familiarity with sweet Peshwari naan from takeaways. The chicken pakoras lacked proper batter, resembling stale chicken with breadcrumbs. Despite reasonable prices totaling £53 for 2 curries, 3 naans, chips, chicken pakoras, 2 cokes, and a beer, the extended wait time for what seemed like pre-packaged food diminished the overall experience. If you seek an inexpensive Indian meal with bland flavors and don't mind a lengthy wait, it might fit your preferences. Also replied to my review on Google being rude towards me.

Fab place lovely food. Great service friendly staff. Lots of options, food and drinks very reasonably priced will visit again highly recommended

Amazing!! The best food we've had. Excellent service, staff happy to advise and really friendly. Has now become our weekly visit. Have also ordered delivery which was extremely prompt and piping hot. Would highly recommend!!

A really enjoyable night with great food at a reasonable price. We booked a table for Thursday night when the offer was on. It was good to see the restaurant fairly full and the service was generally very good. The food was excellent which was particularly pleasing given that most other restaurants give smaller portions with these ‘deals’. The mixed tandoori starter was one of the best I’ve had and Lamb Handi was excellent. Generally a fantastic night with a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon .

The last two times I have takeaway it's only been just warm if it continues I will have to tell them it cost me £11.50 and I expect it to be very hot and not Luke warm

I can't believe I have never written a review for Cinammon yet as it has been my favourite restaurant for years. I have been visiting Cinanmon as a restaurant for 16 years and using them as a takeaway for 18 years. I can honestly say in that time I have never had a bad meal. The staff are super friendly and more than willing to accommodate special requests. I think I have ordered most dishes from the menu now and they have always been plentiful and delicious. If you order too much like we always do, they are more than happy to package up a 'doggy bag' which is a regular Monday night tea for me I have eaten in many Indian restaurants over the years, and aside from a random place in Prague, nothing else has ever come close. You won't be disappointed!

We had another take away last night. The food is always delivered hot and is delicious. Very reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

Ordered a takeaway from cinnamon tonight, after an hour an hour food arrived, stone cold absolutely awful, lamb was so fatty and stringy. Will not be ordering again. I didn't ring up as I'd already plated food out! Absolutely awful food, especially at nearly £40 AVOID!!

I have been to a few indian restaurants but this is by far the best I ve been. Inside cozy atmosphere and the staff is friendly . Food is good tastes well and was relatively quick for a busy restaurant. ☆☆☆☆☆

Visited this restaurant last night and it was the worst Indian food ever. The curry was watery and Luke warm and chips were cold. They also charged £7.50 for a small glass of red wine. Ridiculous would not recommend

Had my first takeaway from here tonight. Everything was fresh, hot and really tasty, and super fast delivery, I will definitely be ordering again!

Have been visiting for years but never before had a takeaway. Decided to treat myself to a lockdown treat. The food was just as excellent as it is when you visit. It was delivered in 20 mins. Had Tandoori Mix, 3 poppadoms (got 4 though) & Pickle Tray (best lime pickle I've tasted and love the chilli dip. Not normally a big fan of mango chutney but theirs is superb) with Chicken Rezalla & Keema Rice. Can't wait to be able to visit again especially after this reminder. May need another treat before then.

Another lovely meal at Cinamon. Service spot on throughout the night - the waiter could see I was deliberating over the menu and took the time to recommend a particular dish to us which was exactly to my taste. Cannot fault anything. Will definitely return.
