Brilliant atmosphere, great service

Very nice pub with a lot of different activities.

Nice to have a decent pub back. Busy on Saturday afternoon, which nice. Called back in later in the evening and it was dead, pity as there was a great tribute act on...but our group made everyone's night 😄🕺🏼💃🏻🕺🏼💃🏻🕺🏼🍻🍷🎶 🎵

Clean, welcoming and warm pub on a chilly day. I mainly visited as the two nearby Chippy’s have both closed down, so was looking for food. I had a good pint of John Smiths (not my first choice but I couldn’t fault the quality), two sausage rolls and a twix for £7.xx which I thought was reasonable and I was glad to be able to get some food close to the station.

Exceptional experience was in on Wednesday evening was served by a lovely lady with black hair who is truly a great asset to your pub

The fish and chips tasted of ammonia, and chips had eyes in. also, the peas were out of a tin. bread and butter was Margarine and not butter, me and my family were very disappointed as this was a birthday celebration

We were served by a young woman called Terri who was very courteous and pleasant. The food was great and the atmosphere pleasant

Fantastic well worth a visit best fish and chips in the area

Wow large portions. Well cooked food with a good choice. Had a beautiful mackerel & prawn salad followed by a fisherman's basket. I couldn't eat it all but I was offered a take out box and brought the remainder home. Great, friendly service. Clean and bright space. Enjoyed it and will definitely return.

Absolute ignorance they ran out of veg mash stood in que ages for the women carving meat to be clever saying were only pub that does 7 veg like hey whos paying here first time and definatley last time even had to eat dinner in tap room I had my 81 yr old grandad with me they are totally ignorant

Nice local pub. Staff are friendly and chatty. The establishment is nicely broken into dining and eating sections with good outside areas. Never eaten here but the menu look very varied and we'll priced.

Sunday dinner average thats good and bar ok too. I need to go more often to say more
