Hong Kong City Chinese &Fish & Chips in Rotherham

Had take away last night £26.00 driver had not got the right change food was awful qmunch box dry and all cooked in old oil ribs were ment to be barbecue it was gravey do not order very disappointing

We have a few people in our family with various food allergies and only found out recently about this Chinese doing Gluten Free and Dairy Free. I will recommend and food was lovely and the advise from phone call and assistance helping get food back to car has really made for a great experience and whenever we have a family event we will use. We are 13 mile away approx 25 minutes and not a problem food was lovely and warm fantastic service 👍

Awful, worst Chinese we’ve ever had. Took nearly 2 hours, the starter was rock hard and burnt. The chicken was plastic and the taste was awful. All very bland.!The seaweed was the best part of the meal.

Absolute joke of a place! Doesn’t even deserve 1 star, they got our order wrong and then started arguing with my partner on the phone and was refusing to bring us our correct order! A woman was shouting in the background of the phone call all because we wanted what we ordered and they were refusing to bring it! They did eventually bring it however the customer service was disgusting!!

Chicken curry always 10/10. must drop in for a quick stop

First time as this Chinese has a Gluten Free menu. Disappointed beyond believe Bbq ribs no sauce, ribs were so hard unable to get any meat off them. Chicken balls were more batter and small piece of hard chicken. Chips were soggy and cold. Egg fried rice was beyond dry. Would not deliver to Brinsworth even when I offered to pay. First time, last time this was the most disgusting chineese takeaway I have ever had.

Excellent fish and chips over the counter

Has a whole separate menu for gluten free which is incredible when we are coeliac which is incredible! There is so much to choose from and everyone is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend

Had quite a few good meals from here but recently they have got poor the last two were really bad food was virtually inedible Won’t be ordering again.

I am celiac and I love Chinese. I thought those days were over until I found this takeaway. The food is so delicious and a very generous portion. The price is great too considering how much people with dietary requirements get ripped off. I highly recommend this place

Really enjoyed the food, good sized portions. Only let down was that food wasn't very hot when it arrived, and we had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for deliery.

Our first order and the delivery this Sunday was pretty good as our house is difficult to find, so plates and top oven on in case the foods not piping hot. Expect now they know where we are, and we won't have to worry. The food was excellent, one of the best chinese takeaway we've had. Thanks to all for the good service.

First time ordering from here really good price but if all came freezing apart from 1 of the dishes so had to reheat and just not the same. Gutted really wanted to enjoy it

We ordered munch boxes, one normal and one gluten free, they were huge and absolutely gorgeous. Enough food to feed 2 adults and a child in one munch box would recommend.

Unfortunately, it was not great, ordered a few things as well as the chips and curry sauce in one tray, this was poor quality and no care in presentation. Will not be ordering from here again unless they start to care about the food they send out to customers.

Good food and portion size. The large munch box is really nice and has a good variety of food in it. Can order online for collection or delivery. Collection times are reasonable but can’t comment on delivery times.

Absolutely amazing food. Great portion sizes too for the price. I definitely recommend one of there boxes the portions are huge. We ordered the chicken box with the curry and it came to £15.80 it fed two adults and 2 teenagers.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever eaten! Bland, reheated numerous times, tasteless, beige garbage that we wish we hadn’t eaten. Will never eat here again.

Never got a chance to try the food as waited over two hours for it to be delivered and had to cancel as they didn't seem to know what they were doing. So may have been nice but who knows!! Waiting for my full refund now, lets hope I don't have to wait for that too!

Ordered for the first time last night. Lovely food, generous sized portions, the ribs in BBQ sauce were amazing!! The pancake rolls were not greasy at all. Will certainly be ordering again.

Stopped on our way through to the motorway. Had a great Chinese and chips! The guy who served us was very accommodating, providing us with trays and utensils so we could tuck in sat in our van! Definitely recommend.

Amazing gluten free!!! Munch boxes are mega value for money. Salt and pepper king prawns are to die for. We never mind paying extra for food and normally don't go place witch are ( good value for money) This Chinese is beautiful alway pipping hot! Been using it for a year now and it's getting busier and busier sometime take 20 minutes to get thought to order but definitely worth the wait and travel as we live in bolsover chesterfield. 10/10

Gluten free salt and pepper munchie box was amazing, I haven't had Chinese food since I had to go gluten free. It was £18 for the box, which was enough for 2 of us. Really enjoyed it.

Orderd a Chinese salt and pepper share box last night we was very impressed tasted amazing .very fresh . Real chicken pieces chips were nice and fluffy And most importantly just enough seasoning we will definitely order again highly recommended

Fantastic chinese...speedy delivery. We usually have a mixed starter...sweet & sour chicken balls...a house special rice and a house special chow mein...comes with free salted chicken wings if you spend over a certain amount. All delicious and altered to our liking. Generous portions...always some for nibbles the next day. You won't be disappointed...really cheap delivery too!!! Not tried the fish and chips so can't comment.

Absolutely shocking service. Ordered food at 7.20pm, estimated delivery by 8.02pm. Still sat here at 9.35pm waiting for it. I have called numerous times and been told 5 minutes every time. So they just lie to you. They just offered me £5 off my next order but this will be my first and last order.

My partner ordered a salt and pepper munchies box. 2 things 1st way to much salt. It was that salty neither of us could eat it and 2 bit in to 2 chicken balls and both were pink on the inside. This was the first and last time we will be ordering and is very disappointing.

Finally a chinese that puts the effort in to making a gluten free menu and it was amazing taste well worth the 20 minutes drive and when I got back to Chesterfield it was still piping hot ... would recommend to any ceoliac

Ordered for first time today. Absolutely lovely food. Good old fashioned chippy style chips too. Only reason I marked it 3 and not 5 is there was a secret£2.50 delivery charge as I was under impression it was free delivery upto 5 mile . ? Unless I read wrong and I ordered hot chilli and they sent sweet chilli. But the food is deffo 5 star and will definitely order again

This chip shop as gone really DOWN HILL would never GO EVER AGAIN !!!

The chips were obviously recycled from the day before and tasted awful. I arrived at the shop 30 minutes after the advertised opening time and they were still closed. Avoid at all costs, there's another chippy less than a mile up the road.

Just had rock hard chips, obviously been in there for a while. Ordered a large cod which wasn't cod, was well overdone and looked grey. This place has gone right downhill recently and we won't be going there again.

Called here today passing through. Ordered myself and 2 daughters mini fish, chips and curry. We weren't disappointed!! Proper chip shop chips and beautiful white fish at a good price. Definitely recommend
