The best restaurants in Croft Baker North East Lincolnshire Yorkshire and The Humber

We were visiting Cleethorpes for a weekend away and fancied some Thai food for dinner. We stumbled across this restaurant as we walked into town and were so pleased with it. Friendly service, amazing food, and reasonable prices. Sadly, it was let down by being so cold - I could only see one radiator in the whole restaurant and kept my jacket on throughout.

I was really looking forward to this place, hoping for a great meal, but unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to expectations. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, with just one other customer. The waitstaff seemed more focused on playing games on their phones than attending to the guests. I ordered a curry, but it was disappointing, mostly bones and fat, which was off-putting. On a positive note, the naan was delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. I hope they can improve the quality of the food and service in the future.

I visited on my lunch break today and the food, drink and customer service were all fantastic. They were happy to spend their time going through all the cakes, despite how busy they were and I had a lovely peanut butter brownie. Looking forward to returning.

What more to say other that the title, brilliant food and drinks it’s just a shame about the type of people it attracts. You know the kind, d**kheads who try to look good and “pull birds”. More commonly known and curbys. Just absolutely not the type of people you want to be around. 10/10 food. 1/10 customers. 10/10 would recommend to anybody wanting their night ruined by jacked up little boys who think they’re gods gift.

Five out of five I had a flight of excellent soups. Perfect for this cold weather. The soups were mushroom, cauliflower, minestrone, and clam chowder.

An appealing, small restaurant in an excellent position near the pier with very good quality food and friendly service. Particularly good Tom soups. We will definitely revisit.

I recently visited Riverhead Coffee in Cleethorpes and can't express how amazing this place is. The ambience was cosy and inviting - perfect for a relaxed coffee break or catching up with friends. The coffee was rich and flavourful and the menu offered a nice variety of drinks and lots of different choices of food. The staff were friendly, attentive and made me feel welcome at all times. Prices were brilliant for the high quality offered. Definitely a place I would return to and highly recommend to others.

Friendly little place. Cake to die for, and substantial slices! Coffee was amazing. Great service. Little bit of heaven on the coast.

An established place - been around for some rime and has a loyal following of diners. Available are breakfasts, 3 course dinners and much more, In fact so popular is it that we had to reserve our table, The 2 members of staff are very friendly and know many of the regulars by first name, Tea is served in pots, coffee is available in mugs or cups and nice touches like did I want my coffee served with my meal or afterwards, It doesn't pretend to be something it is not, or re-invent itself and that's probably why it is so popular

Never fails to be the best ice cream parlour in Cleethorpes, been coming for years . Has the best banana ice cream! Family had mint choc and said amazing.

Such a lovely coffee shop in the heart of Cleethorpes. We popped in with our family and dog today and really enjoyed how cosy and friendly it was. Great coffee and a full range of food options available. With it being dog friendly it is a bonus and this will now be our go-to place to stop for a drink on our dog walks!

Best coffee, best people, best food, best atmosphere and best music! An absolute GEM in Cleethorpes. Something magic about this cafe.. every visit is special.

Feet stuck to the floor as you walked in, die of thirst waiting for a drink at the sticky bar, and there’s been buckets in the middle of the floor catching drips from the ceiling for months and months. Only went for the ‘Day disco’ advertised but that was also a big letdown - didn’t even have the lights down…..oh and the hospitality’ of the management certainly leaves a lot be desired.
