Deli-Licious in North East Lincolnshire

Got some lunch for the road after visiting family. Knew this place for years but never actually been in. Got great steak ciabatta and a fantastic Rueben sandwich freshly made and with copious filling and for the size and quality of the items the price was more than reasonable

Fast service I ordered some carrot cake on 2 separate occasions and they had it in stock on that very day. and the cakes was amazing both times

The cakes honestly look amazing!! We spent a while choosing what we wanted and couldn’t wait to get tucked into them. However we were very disappointed- they tasted pants!! In fact I’d go as far as saying awful. The stacked Easter cookie one I actually couldn’t keep in my mouth and had to spit it out - absolutely vile. Completely disappointing.

Had lunch today in Gallaghers with a friend while having a day out in Cleethorpes. What a lovely experience. What a pleasure. Hot Yorkshire tea. BLT sandwiches with chips made a lovely lunch. On leaving decided to take a cake home for husband from Deli Licious. Well what the hell . What a difference. Bought him two cakes and writing a review as both cakes were so stale they must have been cooked a fortnight ago. Can't believe these two establishments are related to each other. Gallaghers 10 out of 1p. Delicious cakes must try harder 2out of 10 .

My Daughter-in-law had a voucher from Pig in the Pokey the Sister shop to Gallaghers/Delilicious but due to lockdown it has closed so i rang Gallaghers who offered to honour the voucher which was nice of them Today she had afternoon tea delivered which i think for the price was discusting Cheese and egg rolls (they dont eat egg but were not offered an alternative) half a scotch egg 2 slices of quich 2 bags of crisps s.rolls and i think it was spot the salad 🤔 The cakes were the best looking bit on it NO drinks included and this was £26 !!

Due to Lockdown 2, we had a 'click & collect' afternoon tea from Deli-cious (sister shop to Gallaghers cafe) in November 2020. Ordering over the phone was easy and payment was taken at the time. We were able to choose sandwich fillings, the flavour of Pipers crisps and Fentimans pop that we wanted. There was a LOT of food! The savoury part was-sandwiches, quiche, pork pie, scotch egg and sauage roll and then their 'nearly famous' brown sugar scones plus three types of traybake! The food was served on foil buffet trays and ready for collection. The food was all very tasty and fresh. My only quibble was that the jam was more like the kind you get in jam doughnuts. We particularly enjoyed the traybakes and sauage rolls and felt the inclusion of branded crisps and pop meant the teas were very good value. Great tea from a local place. We'll be ordering a Christmas afternoon tea very soon!

Bought a couple of individual cakes...not nearly as yummy as they should have been. Eclair was poor, choux pastry overcooked with unsweetened cream, cheap, thin chocolate resulted in huge disappointment! Won’t bother again🙁

OMG!! If you have a sweet tooth, then this is your place! HUGE cakes, flapjacks, giant jammy dodgers etc. All look homemade and they are simply amazing.

Walking past and the cake display caught our eyes. Spent a good 5 minutes looking and deciding what to have. Went for cornflake cake, lemon shortbread, rocky Road and bakewell tart between us. Amazing taste and generous sizes. Staff friendly, chatty and welcoming. May well return soon.

Myself and my colleagues visit Deli-Licious a few times throughout the week. The food is absolutely incredible and is made with a lot of care and attention. From the jacket potatoes to the quiche, cakes and hot ciabattas... it has to be one of the best eateries in North East Lincolnshire. Ditch the sandwich chains and shop local. You won't be disappointed!

Friendly staff, beautiful sandwiches and gorgeous cakes. Very good value for money well worth a visit. Lovely food for a picnic by the sea

Very chilled out, nice range of drinks, great arrangements of sarnies and beautiful cakes that catch the eye, super clean, also a great range of county and national/Irish cheese to take home. Pure indulgence and a two second trot to the beach. More of this go getting in Cleethorpes please. Cheap too.

I have nothing but a great review for this place. Cakes are amazing and decent sized portions. We bought 6 cakes and paid £15. Compared to our usual haunts where we can pay upwards of £20 for the same amount of cake( we don't eat it too much, honestly) the quality and price was more than expected. They cater for more than cake, with homemade lasagne and a salad/sandwich bar. Our server was extremely helpful and would highly recommend this as a cake stop!!!

I usually come here for a salad box, a chilli and cheese jacket potato or a cake all of which are very tasty there are always a big range of cakes made and they always look really nicely presented in the shop window too that it draws you in when walking past. Staff are always lovely and friendly and make things for you exactly how you ask they are always patient even for someone as picky as me. This is a place I recommend

Compared to what you pay for dessert in a restaurant, Deli-licious prices are great! And the portions are huge! I got a large banoffee pie from here once and it was to die for.

Recientemente atendidos un evento nos sosteniendo; la comida estupenda y abundante. Buena variedad de tipos de comida, muy servicial en la tienda, ya que los menús, y cambiado swopped muy puntuales con la entrega. Lo recomiendo si tienes un evento o fiesta que quieras catering.

Nice looking place but expensive and the food quality is not always great. They cater for lots of food, probably too much choice. Expensive as well.

Cakes all look very nice in window display, was bit shocked at the price when I asked for scone and chocolate brownie it came to £5 for 2 cakes but then it was a treat

All the cakes here are fresh and are served at cheap prices from £1 which is amazing since there such big portions and are the best cakes you'll ever taste. Brought a chocolate cake and strawberry shortcake cheese cake and were stunning here's other photos of some of the other stuff you could buy. They never sell anything that isn't fresh and if they do they reduce the price which is so good as I think it tastes the same

If you ever fancy a cake to die for this is the place to be.I asked for an order on face book for half slab of white chocolate billionaire slice and it was ready to pick when required and it is the best cake I have eaten any where this year!!! The choice of cakes were well varied and the cream fruit scones were about 5 inchs high they are my next treat.Would defo recommend

Deli-licious is a great place. We went for sandwiches, there is a great selection to choose from and at good prices. After going here we went back the next day for sandwiches and the day after that to take some home with us as we were just here on holiday. Cakes were amazing and again great selection and different choices. We also tried the quiche & one of the savoury pies, great portion sizes and reasonable prices.Staff were helpful and friendly too. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Been here dozens of times and always satisfied with the food they serve. Vast choice of deli food and supplies. Plenty to inspire your choice of snacks or opt for one of their set options from the blackboards with some delicious combinations. The deli counter is brimming with fresh ingredients so you can see what you're ordering, which I like. Not a desert man but the desert counter looks amazing and is always popular with customers. Again a great selection available. Always tastes incredibly fresh and delicious.

If your on a diet this place is hell lol. The cakes are amazing!! Massive and amazing. I bought a square chocolate caramel biscuit cake thing. I'm a huge chocaholic and this thing nearly did me in. Haha it was beautiful but I only managed to eat half of it. We will be back for more soon thanks so much

The cakes are a feast on the eyes as well as taste. The take away ounces are excellent and very reasonably priced.

The cakes we had last week were great. Large sponges, moist and very fresh. Carrot cake was amazing, Victoria sandwich was excellently decorated and lemon curd cake was tasty but sponge was a bit heavy. However, they looked very impressive and our friends gave great feedback.

second visit to this shop they have some lovely cakes, sadly this time there wasn't as many to choose from/sold out. My cake was lovely it was a brownie with a large amount of topping. Took a few days to finish, sadly still no labels still had to ask what things were would maybe order more if it didn't have to ask what each was. Staff were lovely and patient though

The cakes here are amazing & the portion sizes are immense. The chocolate eclairs are the size of a baguette! Always visit when in the area

I've been to this deli a couple of times and always have difficulty deciding what to get as it all looks so good. The quality is top notch and the flavour combinations are divine. I've always been towards the end of the day when they have run out of some of the fresh ingredients for the sandwich I've chosen, but the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about suggesting alternatives that would work equally well. Not tried their cakes but they look fantastic. I would eat here for lunch every day if I could.

We really like picking up sandwiches and cakes from this shop. They have such an amazing variety of cakes and stuff. Always fresh, delicious and home made. Staff are always efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

Just love food from Deli Licious. (St Peters Ave ) It's fresh and plenty of it. The salads are lovely it's great you can pick your own foods to go in your salad . The bread roles are lovely too. The cakes are simply Devine .and worth a try . The staff are lovely. Hygiene wise it is spotlessly clean and the staff wear gloves to handle the food. Highly recommended

The choices are fantastic, I regularly visit when I can and I want a fancy sandwich. My personal favourite is Surf and Turf, but I like almost all the swanky sandwiches.The cakes are also fantastic! So much choice and every one is delicious!

We always visit her when in Cleethorpes they have the most beautiful cakes this is a must the cakes are divine it is shame though that no cakes were labelled although the staff are only too happy to assist in explaining what each cake is. The hardest part is trying to decide which cake to have but as the portion size is huge we normally select two different ones then share each others.

Been here many times (when I'm not on a diet!). Tray bakes are always great, love the cornflake cake, Choc concrete, lemon love oh the list is endless! The slices are large and very tasty. The cakes are huge and I often have to have 2 goes at it!Salads have been good as well as the sandwiches and pizza slices. I always come back for the cakes though!!

These fellows know how to make a sandwich, always beautiful and full of quality fillings for a fairly cheap price. A go to place for a quick lunch

The sandwich selection is very good, lots of different types of bread available which personally i like . The puds are always fantastic! although some are big enough for two, which again is a bonus. We offten get 3 sarnies, 3 puds and share between 4. Bargin! And tasty. What more could you want. If you want standard food and puds go to gregs!

We went for a coffee and cake, it was amazing. We have also ordered 3 cakes for birthdays. My nieces 21st my sisters 50th and my mothers 80th. They have all been absolutely brilliant. They look amazing and they have all tasted wonderful. I would recommend this business for the restaurant and the take away cakes.

Nice cakes but avoided the sandwiches on latest visit as servers both failed to remove food preparation gloves while handling money from customers while we stood in queue. Urrgghhhhh.

Love it here. Lovely sandwiches with a good variety of fillings. The hot pasta pots are nice on a cold day. The best thing is the cakes! The teaser slices are by far my favourite! If ever you need a good chocolate run pick me up then this is the place to head.

The name of of establishment itself describes the quality delicious! Never walk away disappointed with the quality of food only thing that lets then down is customer service not all the staff just some of them need more training

Been here a few times. tried flapjack & chocolate concrete.was ok but quite expensive I thought for what we got.

I popped in to get a sandwich for lunch, I haven't been for a while as the last time I visited the lady serving me wiped the tongs that she was picking my food up with down her already dirty apron, anyway thought I would give it another go - wish I hadn't. I went in and the same lady was filling a dish for the counter with chicken and also eating it at the same time. She was coughing quite a bit and coughed several times into her hand, which had gloves on, then carried on using same hand to touch food, she coughed several times over the food in the counter. She then took her gloves off, wiped her nose and coughed into a tissue and put gloves on again, no hand washing here.Think staff need food hygiene training or supervision, if this goes on 'front of house' what goes on behind the scenes?Will never come back!

Good choice of cakes and savouries a available. Some huge portions, some small portions, all high prices and not great quality. Cakes look good but lots of cream on/in most and very disappointing taste.

I today bought a slice of the bonoffee pie from the store. I love bonoffee it's my fave so I wasn't bothered about the paying the £2.95 a slice for it, even though that is expensive. I got it home no more than 20 mins later to discover it was off and tasted terrible and also there was all but two slices of the pie there so God knows how long its been in the window. I'm disgusted, dissapointed and very annoyed.

I absolutely loved getting a salad for lunch from here until I got a chunk of lettuce and hardly anything else for £3.50 also I thought I'd treat myself to a chocolate eclair which was so hard I just threw it in the bin, so I won't be going back.

We visit here regularly when we have been shopping in Grimsby. We live in skegness, the cakes are beautiful we always buy at least 5 :/ lol. Such a treat after some fish and chips! We also at Xmas time buy the full cakes or 2 halves of a cake. Fantastic! Never had a sandwich or salad yet but they look beautiful and great selection. The lasagna also looks amazing. No doubt be back in soon!

I popped in to buy the contents of the cake stands for a birthday treat for my partners work mates.The lady serving was awesome she was pleased to cut into portions and give us a full description of each and every cake. And they were beautiful I didn't get to sample them all but boy did I want to.If you love fresh delicious food well worth a visit.

Food was excellent, however spoilt by a poor service. I was surprised and disappointed. The person who served us made us feel like they couldn't be bothered.

It was my wifes birthday i asked if i could have a cake made not just a couple of slices but a full eclair cake.Had to wait three day but it was absolutly fantastic had to have a sandwich for my dinner too but absolutley brilliant 10/10 for quality and for service

We have been getting cakes from deli licious for a long time but after starting a new health kick we decided to try there salads . Crayfish with all the salad you could think of topped with cheese and coleslaw was to die for ! Got the kids sandwiches too which they loved

I might be slightly biased as I've known Laura and her husband, since I was very young but their cakes and sweets have never failed to put a smile on my face. I would recommend this place to any one with a sweet tooth! It's amazing. If you're not feeling 100% hungry, I would say to half it with someone else as the portion sizes are huge and very satisfying. Talking about it is making me hungry, I might take a trip down there today!

Cakes, cakes, delicious cakes. Oh, to die for. They had cakes that just had to be eaten. Eclairs almost a foot long. And a chocolate profiterole cake that just stole my heart.

Been going here for years now - unfortunately for my waist line!!I've had great sandwiches and salads, the pizzas are lovely too. Coleslaw great, as is the pasta salads.But the best by far are the cakes. They may be a bit pricey but most of them are huge and i cannot finish them in one sitting. I'm a regular buyer of the choc concrete, lemon love and the cornflake cake. Lemon meringue is delicious too. In fact pretty much all of them are!!On a diet at the mo so haven't been for a few weeks :-(

if i had the chance to live in this fantastic shop there would be no hesitation!!!! the feeling of home as you walk in and the smell of freah baked food make you never want to leave!! i visit this shop of perfection weekly and i still love everybite of my lemonlove cake and greek to me sandwhich like it was my first!!! i advise everyone to visit this amazing shop!!!!! absoulte perfection!!!!

My husband wasn't hungry at lunch time - he'd had a big breakfast but I hadn't, so I was. We found this place because we were looking for somewhere else but I am glad we did. I ordered the Hail Caesar: chicken, bacon, dressing, parmesan, anchovies and salad on ciabatta,a slice of the malteser cake and a packet of crisps. We returned to our caravan for me to eat it. The sandwich was delicious and it was so nice to have the anchovies (most don't). And I didn't intend to eat all the huge slice of cake but it was so good I just kept going... Add in the pleasant staff and it was all excellent, especially as the total price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity If we ever go back to Cleethorpes (and we probably will) we will go there again.

We did use Deli-Licious quite regular UNTIL we was getting CHARGED different prices for the same cakes salads everytime we visited, Did ask the young girl why this was, her reply was it depends on the size sum are smaller sum are bigger but she didn't have a answer wen we got 2 salads the same but was charged to different prices....... I think they make the prices up as they go along wont be going again unless there items are PRICED

We use Deli-Licious for a special treat every now and again as it's not cheap. However, it has the best sandwiches made to order and the loveliest cakes that we've ever had! Would only be made better by having somewhere to eat in, but great for a picnic on the seafront. Their pork pies and salads are great, very tasty, and you can choose whatever you like to go in, or be left out, of your sandwich or salad bowl. Staff are really friendly and helpful too.

I always visit this establishment for cakes which are simply out of this world and so big you cannot eat in one sitting. Have also tried the salad boxes which are also first class. But if you have a sweet tooth this is the place for you, the best cakes I have tasted in Lincolnshire.

This shop offers amazing sandwich combinations with really fresh ingredients! You can build your own sandwich if you want to but the menu I think it covers every possible one.Prices are average but quality is realy good.

I have probably sampled most of the cakes on offer displayed in the window here and every one of them has been an indulgent delight. As a Cleethorpes resident with family and friends visiting frequently, this is one of the places where I take them as a tourist attraction as the cakes really are something else. However, I wouldn't normally visit other than those occasions as the cakes are priced upwards of £2 each.

Found this cafe by chance when walking about Cleethorpes. Fantastic selection of deli foods. We had picnic of sandwich and cakes from here and they were delicious! Very generous portion size and excellent prices! Looking forward to my next trip there!

Went to collect our lunches for our day out to Lincoln on friends recommendations. Customer service excellent, prices very good compared to other sandwich joints. If lived in this area I would definitely go daily. The actual sandwiches tasted amazing too. Now the on site baked cakes are a must too.

Straying a little far from home (I live on the western outskirts of Grimsby but was taking a service at a Methodist Church in Cleethorpes on this particular Sunday) I decided to buy a lunchtime snack from Deli-Licious. The range of breads & fillings was enormous with every combination inbetween. In the event, I plumped for the Yella belly on a baguette – roast pork & sausage meat stuffing with Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese & Figgy's apple chutney. Great combination of flavours and at £3.45 it was good value. A large square of flapjack rounded off the meal.Highly recommended - just a shame I live just a little too far away. :-)

Gorgeous food! Don't have a bad word to say about it. The cakes are to die for and you always get a huge portion, so even though they're sometimes a tad pricey, one is easily enough for 2 people! The homemade chilli and the meatball subs are gorgeous. Would happily eat here every day!
