The best restaurants in Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

We got breakfast from here as we work in an office nearby and it is the best breakfast sandwiches in crossgates! Would 100% recommend.

The food here is so much better than the chain-restaurant, mass-market fast food fodder available at the rest of the food court.

Very disappointed with our two visits: the staff were busy chatting with friends, and took ages to produce a couple of simple drinks, seemingly considering customers to be a bit of an inconvenience. Their line manager needs to give them a quiet word in their ears about how useful customers are, otherwise they may end up with no customers to sell coffee to.

Been twice this am, now 8 am and its still shut ! This has been happening over the last mnth or so, they seem to keep their own hours , opening when its convenient for them. Very disappointed, a shame because their patisserie and sourdoughs are fantastic.

Very expensive for what you get. 27 pounds for a steak with no chips, potatoes or veg. Will not return due to small portions and prices

Far too heavy and greasy. Normally I can eat fish and chips easily and still want more. From here I struggle to finish them and feel a bit queasy. Not sure if they don’t drain them properly?

Un miembro del personal que nos dijo que se asustaba si entra un grupo grande ... . . . sólo 2 de nosotros. Un miembro del personal muy poco amistoso le dice cómo necesita ir a los médicos. Horrible visita xx

The reviews make this take away dubious but we have been going for years and the food is lovely. It may depend on what you order. We often get the black bean sauce and chow main dishes and they are the nicest ones around. Definitely worth a try!

Handy location as it is on the way into town. Good selection of Ales, there is a beer garden which is great when the sun is out. The premises is very clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. A pool table is available and is reasonable at 50p per game.

Genuinely one of the worst kebabs I have ever eaten. Tiny pieces of the dryest chicken I have ever come across. Cheap tiny pitta and some lettuce thrown over the top. Such a shame as I have had some really nice food from here in the past, no idea what has happened to this place!

This place needs closing down. The staffare very rude, they handle basil leaves with their fingers. The female Asian manager argued with my wife, and argued and argued. My wife asked asked if the goats chess was vegetarian, we got yes, no, yes, no. Then we got WELL IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY MEAT IN IT. Its cheese !!!!! The hygiene is disgusting, at least at front of house. At no point did any one come up to us and ask if everything is ok. They forgot about my coleslaw. Look just do not go here, they have lost it entirely, choose somewhere else. This plase is a waste of time and money. Two "pizzas" Two Starters, and one diet coke. £61 TERRIBLE.
