The best restaurants in Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

The staff are amazing and the food is even better, I’d reccomend for students or even if you just need a good amount of food for a bit less!

Spare ribs were extremely overcooked and inedible. What little meat that was on the bones was as tough as leather and had sharp edges. I had to make do with a few chips and some sauce. Never again will I use this atrocious outlet.

Service was great came on time but the mint sauce had leaked a was everywhere it was ridiculously greasy and the chips were soggy rather waited longer a got better quality food!

Lots of choice on the menu. We only had mains, but excellent portion sizes. The lamb with mash and steamed vegetables was lovely. Staff were polite and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was great. All staff welcoming and attentive, service excellent, meals tasty and great value, clean and tidy, loved that cutlery were brought to the table in a serving plate ....

No problems at all. Normally pick order up but currently unwell so needed it delivering.

I have ordered from Max’s on numerous occasions over 15 years, it’s generally a late opening takeaway that serves average food to people who have had a few drinks. I say this WITH NO NEGATIVE opinions as we have all been there! The food is standard and the value is good in general plus very quick service! Overall the hygiene seems okay to me, no hairs or any concerns but just cheapish food (seen in the price - but no moaning here!). Will deffo return next drunken weekend!! :)

As a matter of fact my order didn't arrive at all and thier phone line is busy, can't get through.

My wife and I called in for a drink when stopping in Rodley on our narrowboat. It is a pleasant local with good beer, the Black Sheep being particularly appreciated.

Very nice workers and food was excellent

The biggest asset here seems to be the staff who worked hard and remained cheerful despite being one team member short.( I presume) We sat at table 8 before ordering from the bar - and had our order delivered to table 5. Later, when we ordered again, we were told that we were sat at table 5 - even though the disc on the table said 8! We had poached eggs on toast which were fine and sweet chilli chicken sandwich which was not as it really lacked chicken. Not worth the £12 paid, despite the finely crumbled crisps on the accompanying salad! I tried to pay with cash - but was told ‘card only’ though didn’t see any sign to that effect. A further note on the theme of communication. The Gents toilets were down some steps, at basement level. So why put the ‘out of order - use upstairs (disabled) toilet’ notice on the door rather than at the top of the stairs?

One of the best places in Leeds for vegan food, so hot and delicious, really well seasoned and wholesome! Best vegan burger and loaded fries, totally recommend!
