Absolutely terrible service. We told the guy we were in a rush and ordered the quickest thing to make. Another pair came in and he made their order first. We had to leave without the food we paid for and the chai was the worst I’ve ever had. Will never go again especially after not getting a refund

On a visit to Leeds. The good lady fancied a Desi Breakfast. So I did the usual Google search and it was a choice between Aisha's Cafe and Chai Waley in Roundhay. Drove past Aisha's and couldn't find parking, so continued on to Chai Waley. Convenient free parking outside. Big selection of breakfast (including a full English), but it was the Desi stuff I was after. The good lady ordered, and when the order turned up, the portions were larger than what we're used to in London. Desi Breakfast with Desi Omelette and a large plain Paratha with a Aloo Bhuja side. Halwa, Chana & Puri...and the puri was large. All I wanted was a Desi Omelette Paratha Roll and even that was big. All washed down with an English Tea and a Mocha....and all for £20....not bad. Great service by the staff and would recommend.

If you want fresh parathas and halwa puri, then this is the spot, not like the other places who serve from a packet, and the karak chai is authentic too! Well done .

A great casual dining place. Seating inside and out. Takeaway is available. We loved the aachar and veggie samosas which were clearly homemade and packed with tasty vegetables and balanced spices. The chai was hot and flavoursome. This is a great place to have breakfast, brunch or lunch whatever your taste. We are going back for sure.

Another great visit to Chai Walay in Brudenell (Cardigan Road). We had : aloo chana Puri, chicken paratha, aloo paratha (always ask for extra crispy). Tasted fresh and delicious. Excellent service from the two lads Arslaan and Amaan. Lovely Karak Chai to top it all off. The Harehills cafe is also very good and tbh the food at that branch is even better.

Really enjoyed the casual place - perfect for a catch-up. Food was great. Whether it was the pakistani dish or french toast.

Thank you Chai Wallay for our delicious and hearty vegetarian cooked breakfast. Piping hot when delivered and very generous portions. All our favourites including sausages, eggs, mushrooms, tomato, hash browns, baked beans and 2 slices toast and butter. That set us up for the day. Very reasonably priced too. A real treat!

Really good food and tasty chai. We had the halwa puri and it fed two of us for only £4. Karma chai was excellent. Great place for breakfast.

We’ve ordered from here through Uber eats many times in the last few months. The pratha and curry dishes are absolutely delicious. Nice to have something a different. So tasty. Our family loved the dishes too. Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I visited today for breakfast, excellent customer services, one of the cleanest place in Leeds for dinning breakfast, I had “Desi Breakfast” finger licking taste, specially best “HALWA” in England. I am sure will recommend to all my friends to visit for best food experience.

Visited here with some friends and the food was amazing. I had the avocado and eggs on toast, there was plenty of avocado and the eggs were cooked perfectly (both still runny).Extremely reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be going back as there is so much more on the menu which sounds great! Definitely recommend a visit

Went with my work colleagues and everything was amazing. The cafe was clean, the staff were polite and we ordered several different teas, full English, the paratha and French toast and they all were delightful. Definitely making it my regular brunch place. They even offered us a free dessert at the end! Thanks!

Lucy & I went for a brunch meeting with laptops and papers and were surprised at the fantastic atmosphere. The family friendly cafe is definitely a hidden gem! The staff were very polite, offered us extra drinks as the meeting over ran & it was the best Brunch we’ve had in a while. From pancakes & french toast to a halal full English, we were spoiled for choice. I must say their samosas & masala fries are AMAZING! Been to many cafes in Leeds but have to say, food here was of high quality & simply delicious!
