From the moment I parked in Tesco car park, I knew I was on a 2 hour time limit. The valet parking was all busy that night. I tentatively crept up the council lined bus seat interior recycled carpet. I stepped into the reception. I was met by what can only be described as a man that isn’t allergic to to any breed of pedigree. Credit to the bar. I asked for an exotic blend of Mexican blends. What my lips were christened with was orgasmic. A rum and coke. I think that’s what the locals call it. A foam party in the mouth… guess who’s invited.. yup, the tonsils. RSVP yup back wash. I digest, the food. The bar nuts. Handled by the native local. They not venture out or ls22 or the room tbh. Unless you see deez nuts. (Separate menu available on request.. apparently keh$a on special request 48 hour notice.. apparently) The natural aroma of stale washing compliments the dew on the beef wellington like I’ve never experienced before. Truely never experienced anything like, especially as they won’t return my delicates. 10/10

Pedí una comida para llevar. Una palabra - ¡Increíble! Pedí el pollo Parmigiana y fue hermoso. Suculenta y sabrosa, mi cuchillo se deslizó por el pollo. Mi marido tenía la pizza y nuevamente excepcional. Honestamente puedo recomendar este lugar sin dudarlo. fabuloso.

La comida era muy agradable, buenas porciones bastante caro. £ 4 para chapati! ! £ 6 para naan, sólo pan! ! Luego vinieron los postres. ¡El pedido de Kulfi tuvo una prueba, sorbete! ¿Creen que somos tontos? ¡Los desafiaron y admitieron que se habían quedado sin Kulfi! ¡Qué mejilla! Puede que no regrese.

We'd been to see a lot of venues before the Hovels was suggested to us and from the moment we saw it we knew that it would be the place for us. We knew we wanted a smallish wedding and the atmosphere in the Hovels was perfect. The glass really gives the room a light, airy feel even on a cloudy day. They have stretch tent outside which is perfect for lovely evenings and there are a lot of other extra things that they can do to really make the space look beautiful. They also have a bar onsite and a huge field (we covered it in lawn games). Josh and the team were fantastic to work with. They do in house catering and we haven't heard the end of it yet from our guests. The food is stunning and sourced from the Harewood Estate. On the evening they were really helpful, made sure we had everything. They really made the day so much smoother than I was expecting. Honestly, it was the perfect venue. Thank you!

Habiendo hecho recientemente algunas cajas de catering, aunque para una ocasión muy sombría, quedamos encantados con la calidad de los productos y la cantidad que contenían. Los sándwiches, pasteles, bollos con mermelada y crema fueron excepcionales, sin embargo, siendo una persona sabrosa, los pasteles de cerdo lo hicieron por mí. . Las tartas de hoy en general son insípidas y blandas, sin embargo estas tartas estaban muy sabrosas, de hecho, me comuniqué con la tienda de delicatessen para hablar con la dueña para informarle lo contentos que estábamos con la comida. Recomendaría mucho (especialmente los pasteles)

Great fish and chips. Cooked to order, so a little wait required but completely worth it. Flaky fish in a crisp batter with tasty chips. Excellent every time.

I’ve visited here twice now for so many reasons I can’t even list them all. From the start to finish, all staff are so friendly, relaxed and attentive. We had massages & facials booked with a big weekend stay package, and nothing disappointed us. The food, the drinks, the room, I left a tiny ring and glasses at the spa, within minutes staff had let me know they had left them at hotel reception. I can’t believe anyone would ever have a bad experience here, unless you hate absolutely everything. I love the decor, the staff are happy to chat, not just ‘serve’ you, nothing to strict or wooden the policies are relaxed as in you can use the spa as much as you want until you leave. Such a special visit, thankyou to Alyssa, Gabi and Andy who made our stay the best!!! You certainly get what you pay for.
