The best restaurants in Crosland Moor and Netherton Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

Well firstly I want to talk about the staffs attitude towards customers I went in there for a battered sausage & chips & before the lady behind the counter put the food onto paper I politely asked her if I could have it in a box instead & she responded with a sarcastic attitude saying “well you should’ve said before” well I’m sorry but I think they should really ask customers how they want their food there’s no sign outside saying make sure you ask first if you want your food on paper or in a box next the food just absolute yuck most of my chips I had to bin because they were either pale, hard, well done & had green on them & I’ll post a photo for evidential proof I definitely won’t be going there again you should be ashamed of yourselves for running a place like that where stuff what I’ve said in this review is tolerated get it sorted!

Nam Shan is the best Chinese place, we used to use them years ago in honley and was gutted when they moved but then we found out where they was and that they delivered to us in Meltham. Always see recommendations for them on Facebook, food always fresh and tasty. Thanks as always from us! X

We have eaten here many times over the years. It can often get busy at awake times meaning a longer than normal wait on out meals ordered. But staff always warn us of any delay in getting food out. Staff are always polite and courteous and really try to make customers feel welcomed. The pub has a very laid back feeling and isn't where I would choose to fine dine. But their hone made food always provides exactly what it says on the tin. Good home made grub in relaxed settings. The pub itself is looking worn and could do with a deep clean of the seats and outdoor areas of which were previously always full of flowers and pots on each table improving the appearance. But with a few updates and more staff at busy periods it could be perfect as the local pub again.

A Gorgeous breakfast experience. We booked this spot whilst staying in the area and we were not disappointed. The space is modern with tasteful decor and an excellent shop/garden centre. The range of home decor and fresh produce is brilliant, I could have easily spent a fortune! As soon as we arrived, the staff were great: friendly, chatty and polite. The food was absolutely excellent: I had the smoked salmon and avocado hash brown and it was exceptional. Wonderful quality ingredients and lovely presentation; I really enjoyed my meal. My partner had a sausage sandwich which was also delicious. The service was very, very quick and we will definitely return when in the area! The cost was also much lower than expected given the quality and was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Burn pizza very hard dough never order again..very bad taste

Excellent bar and waiting staff, friendly and efficient. Food is good. The chunky chips are amazing. Dogs are allowed which was a bonus for us. Nice cosy fire.

Ordered from here a few times, always been nice up until i took a bite of the “supreme” burger last night. Been throwing my guts up ever since. Not fun!
