They have closed down and are still taking payments via their website but no food is ever delivered,

Used to be a regular customer, standards have slipped too much recently

Terrible service! I didn’t mean t shout at the delivery driver as he seemed a nice guy but he had the audacity to say they were over an hour late because of temporary traffic lights!!!? I ordered the food 2 hours before, the restaurant waited till the last minute of the hour predicted to tell me it’d actually be another hour, I’m annoyed because they knew a long time before that, however I thought fair enough, I’ll cancel. No! I can’t because the restaurant had already started preparing my food?? 1. Is that my fault, if they’d have warned me before, I’d have cancelled before. 2. So are you telling me I can’t cancel food that is being prepared at least an hour before I receive it??? Terrible food and terrible service. Ps if restaurant decides to reply to this, obviously they get the last word as I can’t reply back. Whatever your reply is, it’s wrong, you serve terrible food and offer an even worse service!

Great curry at a reasonable price. My order was ready in ten minutes and the lamb was tender and the sauce perfect.

Eveything is made fresh everyday could tell with my food curry's are spot on with the pizzas that are top on, really enjoyed vegetarian pizza with pineapple hardly find a good pizza like that also the chicken curry was spot on. Have alot to offer with burgers pizzas and donner woukd highly recommend.

Decided to order a set meal for 2 as a new menu came thru the door One starter to share betwwen 2 2 tasteless seriously under seasoned curries. With one rice to share between 2 2 popadoms (soft tasted like made yesterday) Not really a set meal for 2 New menu er i think ill order elsewhere

Terrible experience. We waited over an hour and a half to be told that first my order had been delivered, which it hadn’t. To be then informed that my order has been cancelled! Won’t order from here again

Ordered a chicken korma and it did not look like a Korma and didn’t taste that good either. The nan bread was not nice and I am sorry but won’t order again as was very disappointed. Delivery service very prompt and polite driver.

It was cold when it arrived and not nice at all. I ordered the red donner from the kebab section but it turned up as just the meat on its own not actually as a kebab so it was falsely advertised. Will not be ordering again from them

This was my last curry at netherton spice. Always order on just eat but cancelled my ordered when I tried to order last week.apparently they don't deliver anymore for various reasons which I understand. My final delivery in October was first class as usual.mixed starter yummy Netherton special curry out of this world .they made me keema paratha which was apparently not on the menu despite previous times I've had it.he said I never had.shame. Keema rice fragrant. Tasty. I totalled up my netherton spice account and over the previous year 3 deliveries a month so about £1200 I've spent over the year.yes that's a lot.they sometimes missed things off and a couple of times cold but generally first class cuisine.i hope the owner 1 day will look at the situation again as I would prefer my £1200@ year to go to them as the food is 1st class Thankyou

So tonight we had some food delivered and we had a special kebab, chicken madras, 3 poppadoms, tikka starter, curry sauce, chips, 3 chappaties. This was the 1st time we used this place, and I have to say the following. It was delivered earlier than stated, and nothing was missing it was very tasty, and the kebab was well worth the money, the poppadoms were crispy and not soft, the madras was hot and tasty if not a bit too thick but a minor thing for me. Would I call again? Yes, I would, and I hope they keep to this standard as we enjoyed it. Please keep your customers happy as we will definitely be back loved it. Thanks.

The food is fanatic and at amazing prices. Unfortunately I ordered through the website on 27/1/23 and the order never came through however I was charged. The shop has not answered my calls or replied back to my email requesting a refund.

Ordered cheeseburger with cheesy chips and two cans of Fanta!! Tell me why I got chicken burger with chips with no cheese and and can of coke??? This is not on when you’ve charged me for the order I had ordered to begin with!!!

Looks appealing but for the £27 we paid on just eat it was awful the donner meat was like rubber same as the burgers joined with a plastic cheese on top. It had no flavour and woke up this morning and my stomoch is in bits 🤢 thats only with eating a little bit of this as the rest went in bin minutes after arriving, Wont be going back anytime soon or ever.

Been twice now, and at the moment my favourite place in Holmfirth, the food is excellent, so tasty, I only have the skinny size it's enough for me, but the different fries are just as tasty, the staff are so friendly and helpful,advising on food menu as my granddaughter has peanut allergies! So they are well trained and know their stuff!!! a fun place with the added bonus of of excellent food.

Very poor food, curry exploded all over food inside the packaging, all cold, pizza and two curries wrong ones to the order, cold, chemical taste like some kind of cleaning solution mixed with food, burnt bread and pizza, appalling customer service from the shop who never called back and would not refund even though I’ve spent a lot of money over 7 years but now we are done. Do not recommend anymore.

Very poor food and unsafe, after using for 7 years it’s gone downhill fast and will never use again. Curry exploded all over the food, two curries wrong, pizza wrong and dry and burnt, kebab dry and cold, starters dry and cold, oily, Nan burnt, chips disgusting, very bad customer service from the shop who didn’t call back and refuse refund despite being very regular paying customers for a long time. This is the third bad order and a large order before I made a review and gave the shop every opportunity to sort first but they refused, extremely disappointed and do not recommend for anything on the menu anymore.

Order from here for them to cancel my order first and last time I order from this place totally appalled by the service. It can’t even be down to distance it’s at 4 mile away k would have gone to pick it up but no contact just a cancellation message. First experience of this place not good.

Food Walsh cold when I came and I only live up road walk to it in 1min so I don't no how it was so cold,, tikKa sauce was not good either if it was even that what I got because it surely did taste like it was tikka sauce,, never again will I go there

Do not use this appalling place.....One star is too good !!!Absolutely disgusting service and attitude. Ordered food at 5.45pm and told would be delivered for 7pm. At 7.30pm rang to ask where food was and was told the driver had just left with my order and was on way to me. At 8pm rang again as food hadn’t arrived which should have been a 5min journey and was shouted at saying they were busy and I would have to wait until it was my turn. On questioning why I was told half hour earlier that it was en route he laughed and said they were telling all their complaining customers that. 9pm food hadn’t arrived. Phone not being answered. Needles to say food did not arrive at all.

The delivery driver is rude and the service is overall shambles especially when trying to resolve an issue between just eat and the takeaway. Not impressed.

Got to be one of the best curry takeaways around at the moment. Can be a bit of a wait at busy times but I've always found the food turns up nice and hot as it should be.

The worst customer service ever. I ordered from them, they sent us someone else's food then demanded over the phone that we still pay and that I was wrong. After their delivery driver admitted he was wrong, the man on the phone refused to apologies and still accused us of lying. The food was also terrible, would give minus stars if possible. Will never be going there again.

Absolutely awful staff members. Family member of mine just went to order food and got slated by the counter staff and got called “so fat” and told she looked about 35! Disgusting, and disgraceful language and absolutely horrific staff! Would not recommend, their so bloody rude and need to learn some manners. Wouldn’t even recommend 1 star! The chef had the audacity to offer some free food at this time. Get some respect.

Great Kebab but they forgot chilli sauce, I called and they offered to send it but I said no dont bother kebab was half way being eaten. They promised to send free chilli sauce next time, but we will see. Delivery was early but only had kebab never had curry or pizza.

If you’re thinking from ordering from here, don’t bother! Ordered our food at 18:15 was told the delivery would be with us for 19:10 didn’t get out food till 20:00, rang up twice to ask where the food was to just be told he’s on his way with no apology for the delay. When we eventually got our food the delivery driver was shocking and was paying more attention to his phone and not to the drinks we had ordered that had fallen all over his car. After having to wait this long our food was cold and soggy and absolutely disgusting, if I could give 0 stars I would.

Placed an order, was delivered within 40 minutes. One order was wrong. Phoned them up, said they would send correct order. 40 minutes later, still not received anything.Phoned again, was told delivery driver was outside. 10 minutes later, phoned again as still not received order. Told them not to bother as we had been waiting far too long, and that we wanted our money back. At this point they put the phone down. Quality of food and service not good and this is not the first time they have got the order wrong. Won’t be ordering food from them again.

I like the fact that you can pay £2 extra for a curry at this place and get a large one which is enough for two people, what I wasn't happy about this time was our poppadoms were stale!!!! I didn't bother phoning up to complain because you're only talking about £1 in money but it does spoil the meal if everything is not up to the same standard.

Ordered 2 margarita pizza with bbq base. Two pizzas came with bbq base, chicken, peppers and onions!? The guy on the phone clearly wasn't listening as I said bbq base MARAGARITA twice! He didn't re read my order to make sure it was right and was rushing me off the phone. I would have kicked up more of a fuss if I was a vegetarian I just wasn't feeling chicken that's why I didn't order it. Pizza was ok..

Would NOT recommend. Food came after an hour of ordering and was stone cold, I called back up and the guy was very rude and obviously did not how to deal with my complaint insisting the food had just come out the oven. I live in meltham so it’s a five minute drive (if that) so the cheese should have still been melted on the pizza and not gone hard again. On the phone the man said to my partner ‘it’s not my problem’ very rude and bad customer service. I also asked for cheese on my chips when I ordered when they came only one portion of chips had cheese on and they had charged £3.50 just for the cheese!! Rip off!! I won’t be ordering from here again and I won’t recommend it to anybody as I have not one good word to say about them

We decided not to cook tonight so we ordered through Just Eat and had a very good meal the girls all had pizza which were cooked well and lovely fresh toppings I had the Royal Special curry which had chicken tikka and king prawn in a onion sauce which was the nicest takeaway curry I had had in a long time and is now one I will order again. The food is top notch and I would recommend to anyone give it a try you will not be disappointed

We ate a selection of different dishes, Chicken Malayan, Saag Aloo, Netherton Special and plain rice. All the dishes apart from the rice were excellent and full of flavour. The rice tasted as though it had been reheated in a microwave. If the rice had been better I would have scored a five. I would return again if we ever visit the area again.

we ordered from there and forgot to add a corma on to the order so we rang back and they said it would be 30mins and then we rang because by things point it had being 40 mins and they said they would said it out and they never did but the food we had was good just service needs to improve

We have just finished a takeaway from Netherton Spice and it was fantastic we had a selection of starters some kebabs, pizza and a curry all were of a high quality, hot and tasty. Will definitely use here again

Ordered 2x pizzas and tasted horrible. Was doughy which i was very upset about it. i also ordered nan bread to dip it in the curry which i also saw a green mould on it. Please do not go here. Worst food ever. Boss was rude and did not help the situatuion at all.
