Amazing food and service never had a bad experience 10 out 10

Food quality was poor, one of my meals came with no salad no sauce even though I asked for it. Pizza was just chicken with hot sauce on it so wasn’t great!

Delivered quickly food was fresh and piping hot, fish masala and king prawn tikka was the best I’ve had, will be ordering again! Thank you

Had my favourite. Chicken and keema bhuna and boiled rice. Roti too. All good quality and tastes great. Love it

Mixed kebab had 3 tiny pieces of tikka in. Large chips were not large and tikka starter was plain flame grilled chicken not tikka.

The delivery driver was rude and the food was luke warm. Shame as we always order from here.

Desi are usually amazing but the curry & chips were terrible. Bland & tasteless curry & dry rock hard chips. Very disappointed. When you blow twenty quid on a meal you want it to be quality, that wasn't!!

Deshi Spice - What a joke, 50% of orders wrong! Not basing this on 1 order but 10 years were I keep trying them and they keep screwing up the orders. I would say food good but run by clowns with zero organisation! Don't bother, go elsewhere. 4/10 at best (bad experience most of the time)

Ordered many times from Desi Spice and I like that they are really consistent in the quality and taste of the food. I had the mixed starter and the chicken ginger and chapatis- all very tasty. Can’t think that I’ve ever had a poor meal from them.

So quick and fresh and hot food was superb. Authentic restaurant quality food lamb chops and lamb spinach Balti as good as akbars 😎

Cheesy chips and garlic bread - lack of taste - barely any cheese on the chips and chips brown, crispy and overcooked. Never had a deep pan garlic bread either - base was like cardboard, chucked in the bin. Food was hot and well presented, driver was friendly, hence the stars - but poor quality food overall. I won’t be visiting here again.

Fast delivery (Saturday night) & the quality was excellent. The chicken was cooked perfectly & was breast meat. I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Lovely as always but portion sizes seemed smaller than normal (onion bhagi are smaller and only 5 not 6 and less chicken in curry). We would rather you put the price up, as everywhere else does due to inflation, but realise it’s difficult to do this also. Anyway still tasty and won’t put us off 😊

kebab meat wasn’t great seemed watery and slimey. curry was really watery and spicier than a madras usually is too.

Had decent curry from here before but this was poor. Curry Hardly any meat and Watery, sheek kebabs fairly tasteless as well! No good

Food was delivered hot and on time. Everything was very tasty and portions were very good.

Food took a while, curry was cold and my popadoms were smashed into tiny pieces. Such a shame it’s usually lovely!

Took over an hour and half to arrive, was cold when it did. 11 calls made chasing order up, 9 of which I was hung up on. You've just lost a regular customer.

Pizzas turned up burnt and later than expected, phoned the shop and was told they couldn't do anything and email just eat for a refund

I do not like writing a bad review as this takeaway has always been 100%. I will put today down to a glitch and hopefully, my next order will be back to the usual high standards.

Very disappointed, the burger was dry, when the order came I told the driver he missed a bottle of pop off which was £2.40 he sighed at me like it was my fault then said he would tell them to send it and they never did, not right at all, very unprofessional and I’d still like my pop

Peri peri strips is basically plain cooked chicken with with chilli sauce on top..Up all night with bad stomach, and throwing up every hour, do not recommend to anybody, food was obviously not safe for human consumption

Rather disappointing, ordered chicken tikka garlic balti and couldn’t taste any garlic or tikka. All I got was tomato and chilli. Donner kebabs and chips were nice though, not greasy at all.

Food came damaged with curry sauce all over the bag. Food usually nice but the food wasn’t edible with the curry sauce saturated in all the food

Ordered at 8pm on a Saturday night, arrived piping hot 20 minutes early. The curry deal for £21 is exceptional value for money. The pakoras were beautifuly spiced and the chicken cooked to perfection. The curries were extremely tasty and even catered for sweet tooth by making my curry slightly sweeter. Overall we were very impressed and will definitely be back

I’m a regular at desi - extremely disappointed, fish starter was over cooked, chicken starters was fatty and curry was bland tasty more tomato Italian sauce rather than a tikka masala

Really quite disappointed with our order (again). After a mess up on our last order - delivery to our neighbours house (we out no so go of an apology when we called to enquire and realise the error), then faced with cold food & hard/stale nann. This time the lamb dish was chewy, we were missing a poppadum from our order and samosas were the equivalent of the frozen mini ones you get from the supermarket. What a shame as the curries are generally good - flavour and spice level at least!
