Realitea would tempt in anyone passing by that loves the smell of beautiful Indian food. The warm welcome and spotless presentation of this unassuming tea room and restaurant is a standard many aspire to. The food was delicious and the photos show how much attention to detail there is to make all the food served. Also the most comprehensive tea menu I’ve ever seen. They don’t have a licence so bring a bottle.

This spot is great for a quiet lunch made with the freshest ingredients. We loved the Brie & cranberry grilled cheese sandwich, but everything, every salad & dessert was delicious!!

A fabulous menu perfectly executed in lovely intimate surroundings. This is a great addition to Ripon’s culinary scene. We have a holiday let in Ripon and always like to recommend good eateries, Vanora’s will be going to the top of the list. I had Vanora’s famous sourdough with my pate starter, it was far better than my own! So looking forward to returning as soon as we are back in Ripon. Thank you.

Amazing dinner here - loved the decor/style, felt like we had been transported to somewhere in France, small and cosy, intimate and just loved the little bustling bar at the front of the restaurant. Food was amazing - everything so good, including the fabulous home baked sourdough. This is a place for a special occasion and we will be back. Think they are open for lunch too and interested to try that.

This little restaurant only has twelve covers but delivers to each person in spades. Simple menu.simple wine list, but delivering spot on service and food. We will be back. Thank you.

An absolute gem of a restaurant in the heart of Ripon! Lovely little bistro serving delicious French inspired menu.

Delicious food, good wine, friendly service, great location. We had olives and hummus airhead bread to start, swordfish and a veggie main, bottle of pecorino and water. Food was delicious, service warm and friendly. We loved it.

Fantastic atmosphere, service and drinks

4 people for lunch today. Husband is gluten intolerant - server asked if intolerant or caeliac (knew what doing) so was reassured. Excellent food. We had the halloumi and beef burgers. Delicious salads, great burger. Excellent tea & coffee. Great service. Would highly recommend.

So impressed with Valentino’s. They have their own very special version of pizza base, thin, crispy and delicious! The staff were so lovely and jolly and the restaurant has a good feel about it, with lots of happy customers. Laid back but higher end. I found the value for money to be very good. Will return. Thank you.

After visiting Tates as a garden centre for years and always finding it excellent, this was a first time in the cafe. A brilliant place to meet up with friends in the ripon area. Huge car park a bonus. THE restaurant is lovely, plenty of tables, all clean with menus ready to view. Orders taken at the table by very polite staff, efficient, quick service but with a lovely relaxed feel. All the food was delicious, looked amazing and priced right. Tates have got this spot on here, I'd definitely return again and highly recommend this place. Well done to the whole team!

A group of 6 had breakfast here yesterday Tuesday 26th November & we were all extremely impressed with the excellent food (5 x full English & a sausage & egg sandwich) & the staff are friendly, polite & nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.
