The best restaurants in Knaresborough East Harrogate Yorkshire and The Humber

Popped in with our grandson for a treat at the Greedy pig ice cream parlour in Knaresborough. Small seating area but lots of takeaways being had during our visit. Choose your own sundae was a massive success for our grandson, not sure if like his combination of flavours but he did. Reasonable prices, will visit again.

Lovely restaurant, delicious food, friendly staff

Was there 5/12 for my 50th. A singer was performing that night and she was amazing. The venue itself was inviting, warm and all the staff were very welcoming and attentive. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning in the near future. We didn't eat there so cannot comment on the food (although service seemed prompt with the food itself smelling delicious).

Lovely breakfast cooked well at a reasonable price brilliant atmosphere and always very busy-thankyou.

I've been going to this chippy for the last year and was the best on knaresborough, I visted for my lunch at work more than I'd like to admit. In the last few months it's gone from bad to worse, half cooked chips, over cooked scallops, stale bread cakes I could go on. On today's visit I saw cooked chips being put back into the fryer to re heat. The guy servings attitude when I asked if they were fresh was not the best when I told him the quality had dropped massively in recent months. The girls who usually work their are great and can't do enough. The new owners need to go back to their old procedures and practices. Please don't let this become another chippy that used to be great. I've wasted £100+ in the last few months hoping it was going to improve

Cosy couple of drinks and meals in the snug next to the log burner. Giant fish, chips and mushy peas for me and gammon, egg, chips and mushy peas for the good lady. All well cooked, good portions and chef and staff were very helpful. Will visit again soon!

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Lincoln. Gem of a place with absolutely perfect fish and chips and really friendly, professional staff. Some of the best chips I've had.

Ordered a pizza from here on sunday can honestly say it was worst pizza ive ever had in my life lacking in topping and a soggy dough i would give zero stars if a could shame as this place used to be amazing. AVOID

Not bad, but it could be better. The cod was very thin, and didn't taste of very much at all. The chips were okay and the peas were good. Service was a bit stand-offish.
