Tico Tico in Harrogate

Ordered a pizza from here on sunday can honestly say it was worst pizza ive ever had in my life lacking in topping and a soggy dough i would give zero stars if a could shame as this place used to be amazing. AVOID

Dirty run down place thin pizza no topping avoid disappointment is guaranteed...

Not what it used to be, prices shot up and completely different style of pizza, dough and toppings. Garlic dip recipe now cheap alternative rather than home made. Been a customer for 20+ years, won't be returning, sadly.

Really great to see this place revamped. New owner is great, really friendly, excellent food. The place is clean, well presented and the food was hearty without being too greasy. Will come again.

Tried calling 6 times tonight to order some food for myself and my wife, I drove passed the store to see if it was open and they were just stood around chatting with no customers so I tried calling again and they just ignored the phone, safe to say I'm eating elsewhere

Really disappointed. I’ve used Tico Tico for over 30 years as it was our go to place for great pizzas. Sadly since the founder and original owner has retired it’s a shadow of what it was. Not long after changing hands ordered our usual pizza and it was very poor, a completely different product than before. Anyway, thought we’d give it another chance and sadly it’s still very poor. Obviously poor quality ingredients and I suspect bought in bases. Also ordered chicken which looked and tasted like it came from the likes of an Iceland supermarket. Most went in the bin. Very sad, was a real gem but we won’t be ordering again.

Delicious thin crust pizza - they were a little disorganised (I may have caught them at a busy time), but the food was great.

Haven't been for a long time for good reason. Poor quality food, bad pricing, and have gotten worse over the years according to customers and members of staff

Had food from the new owner of Tico tico last night and it was spot on. It arrived before time allocated and pizza, chips and burgers were amazzzzzzing. Definitely try this place 👍👍👍

If you like a proper thin crust pizza where you can taste the individual toppings instead of it looking and tasting likes it’s been in a blender and al mushed up then poured on the top, then this is for you. I hate dominoes and Pizza Hut so if you do too, this is thin and tasty and fresh and too quality. Love it thank you so much tico tico

Never ever buy from here got told it will be an hour and 2 and a half hours later still hasn’t arrived called them and they hadn’t even started it yet AVOID

You should definitely market that burger and call it the Garage special. It is so delicious. The food is always spot on and they will create almost anything if you ask them nicely. Lovely bunch of guys that work there and a lovely owner. Superb.

Took an age to cook - but quality wjen I finally got it!

I have been waiting 2 hours now for a pizza on a saturday night. Called but constantly engaged. Never get a pizza delivered from here if you want to eat at a set time. Shocking. You will always be told 1 hour but wait over 1.30hours. Shocking

I go here most nights for my tea. U couldn’t get a better bunch, the food is good and service second 2 none. Thanks to Jerry and his lads big thumbs up!!!!

If you're told 15-20mins for a pick up don't make them wait 15 more minutes while telling other people on the phone it will be 15 -20 minutes as your sat waiting

Just eat will tell you that this place will deliver to villages outside Knaresborough. We ordered, received confirmation then were emailed after the due time of delivery that it wouldn't be coming. Very unimpressed. If you don't have delivery drivers don't take orders.They don't deliver to FLAXBY.

Just had food from you at tico tico, have to say its the best takeaway we have had from Knaresborough in along time. Was delicious and hot and spot on, delivery was early too. Even during hard times were all in now this was an amazing service and cracking food. Many thanks to the staff! Big thumbs up from all of us....

Ordered 17.36 by phone and was told 45 mins 1 hour at latest. 1 hour and 25 mins later still no pizza so tried to call phone constantly engaged. Went to the shop and was told we havent got an order to then find it stood on the side.was told it hadjust been made and thats why it was on the side. Got the pizza home it was luke warm and dried up Not freshly cooked, chips and wedges also luke warm not acceptable as still had to pay towards it totally disappointing which should have been a nice meal fir someone going a way

Just visited here as im working nearby, i ordered pizza which was prepped from dough...amazing pizza from gerry i believe his name was who is still working at 70+ impressive. Amazing flavours prepped with heart and soul!

Best Pizza in Knaresborough for decades. The "funny" taste mentioned in another review is probably the nutmeg in the base that makes these pizzas so tasty.

I would disagree with you. Can we call it the worst pizza in Yorkshire instead?! My experience was rather awful! First of all wrong pizza delivered - (instead of normal chicken they put on chicken korma). I did not complain, as I have no time for that - I am just not gonna buy from them anymore. Secondly, both pizzas' toppings and bases had a funny taste. For me one of the worst pizza experience if not the worst - I have had only half of it, the rest went into bin. Really, not gonna give a second chance.
