Lovely Sunday lunch, with an uncomplicated and very appealing menu. Great staff who were friendly and supportive. Special thanks to Jessica and Hannah but to the whole team, who made it a wonderful Easter Sunday lunch.

Magic Wok has become our go to place for our weekend takeaway treat. The food is always fresh and piping hot. The portions are a great size and the quality never disappoints. Delivery or Pick up is always when they say it will be. The Special Fried Rice (with no prawns) and Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls with boiled rice is the best meal to have after a long week at work and great value for money

We called in today for lunch having had coffee and cake on our previous two visits. It was more quiet than we expected - it's usually very busy and we called in on a bank holiday - so we were able to get a table at the back. We decided on two of the specials - I had the Smokey beans with Greek yogurt, my husband had the Mackerel pate with pickled onions, both came with sourdough toast and a small dressed salad. I thought, initially, that both dishes were a little pricey but, as we'd enjoyed what we'd had on previous visits and having promised ourselves something more substantial on our next visit, we thought we'd give it a try anyway. The food came very quickly - amazing for such a tiny kitchen! It was nicely and simply presented and was absolutely delicious. The mackerel pate was very obviously homemade and the beans came in a deceptively deep bowl so it was a plentiful portion - so not badly priced after all! The sourdough was really tasty and toasted to perfection. The coffee was very good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, as they had been on our previous visits. We'll definitely call in again next time we're in Ilkley.

Parked the car and fancied some lunch before shopping. Literally fell into this gem 3 metres away and it was lovely. My partner was on crutches and doesn't like the sun so, when it was too hot inside, Jane seated us around the side in the shaded terrace. Food was great and service spot on. Thanks to Jane, Amy and all the staff who were so kind.

Called today for first time best fish I've had long time and lovely batter and a free scallop,

Only 2 members of staff on, on a busy evening, both clearly inexperienced. One had to go change a barrel which obviously slowed service down. Not their fault, should've been a manager or supervisor on hand to assist.

Cooked to order and was still all chewy,chips cold and all over priced

Make sure you are wearing a luminous jacket or fancy dress if you want to be served. . I am six foot two & was ignored by all staff for over 5 minutes (:it was quiet so no excuse). . Poor

Excellent service and communication. My mother in law has dementia and the staff went out of their way to make her comfortable and allow her the food she requested. The manager also took special care of her and the rest of the family - good humoured and accommodating. The food was first class and the restaurant is gorgeous, thoroughly reccommend it.

I had a hair in my burger! And the guy i spoke to called Mohammed literally told me on the phone that he doesn’t care if hygiene standards aren’t met! He was plain rude and not bothered in the slightest. If anything he thought compensation for this failure was for ME to come collect another burger! Shocking and zero customer service skills from Mohammed. The main manager is a lovely man and I’m honestly shocked at how poor mohammed was.

We had a lovely lunch. The panini’s were tasty and well presented. We bought cakes to take out. The were delicious even though we didn’t eat them until the next day. Many thanks
