The food was fab. In fact; we arrived before the rush... within an hour the two chefs had to issue an half hour wait warning. The food is that good. Real Ales available.

Called in here today after a walk to the falls , so glad we did ! Absolutely fabulous coffee and cake . The owners were so welcoming and friendly, after she heard myself and hubby talking about doing half and half of cake she offered to do half slice so we could both try 2 different cakes . Wow the cakes , we tried carrot cake which was really moist , best one I’ve eaten! Ginger cake which was nicest ginger cake I’ve had . Spiced apple was nice too . Proper coffee , so nice ! Would highly recommend.

While stopping in the area, on a recommendation we went for a evening meal. Friendly staff, excellent food a good atmosphere in the pub with all the locals. Well worth a visit if in the area.

We stopped here for a pint after a long walk on the moors with the dog. We initially sat outside in the beer garden to admire the stunning views, but went back inside the pub to finish off our drinks where it was a lot warmer! Comfy seats, roaring fire, pleasant barmaid, traditional decor, good selection of drinks, and the dog was welcome to snooze under our table. Perfect. Didn’t have any food but would consider stopping for food next time.

Menu hangs outside coffee price Regular £2.65-2.95 Large pound more expensive We ordered cappuccino to take out and were charged £4 Questioned it and was told because its large cappuccino only on take away The size is regular and even on menu outside price for large cappuccino was £3.85 Proper rip off If i could i would post photos of the size of “large” coffee we were served, people after us walked out hearing this policy of “take out coffee being more expensive “ the owner is just greedy

Called on a few weeks ago and so glad that l did. Abit more than your average burger place but worth every single penny. Would l go back again. YES

Absolutely brilliant pub. Stayed in Haworth for a 4 day get away, booked a table for 2 nights, food outstanding 👌 service also outstanding Highly recommend to anyone. On the last night there was a very loud, noisy party of 12 going on but staff so apologetic, felt more for them. Will definitely be back Thank you to all staff on both nights for your outstanding service xx

I recently put a review saying I wasn't happy, after speaking to proprietor there was a fault on my side too. I was given a nights stay for free which was very good of them, I understand that businesses can have problems and maybe I should have spoke while there.

Great little pub, very welcoming and the food was nice

We have stayed at at the white lion a couple of times in the last few years.lovely clean rooms,great breakfast.. Parking for our car provided. Definitely would recommend and we will be staying in the future again

Delicious food with a great menu. Wide variety of cocktails and wine, and wonderful service by the staff, especially Somu. Thanks for a lovely meal!

FIRST TIME TO WAKEFIELD Amazing, we were taken downstairs to the exclusive Ico bar in restaurant. Jake the barman was fantastic, informative, conscientious and friendly not sure what else he vould do to be perfect. Thanks Jake for you time and effort. Thanks to Tom for the blend of rhubarb cocktail invention (as per Jake's mention) well done all!

The experience was great, the waiters were polite and very kind, the food was delicious. I would love to come again but sadly we are leaving Haworth tomorrow.
