Visited this pub a few times while staying in the Old White Lion Hotel - the King's Arms has a great variety of events going on during the evening including, Open Mic Nights, Bands, Quizzes and Karaoke. We attended a Karaoke night (Friday), my husband went up to sing (on a few occasions!) - and the community there are very friendly and welcoming and we loved the company and seeing everyone sing along to lots of great songs as well. We had a few drinks on Saturday lunchtime, which was great where a few families come in to have a few soft drinks and some food too. Lovely place, friendly staff and a great little night out as well!

Well..... Always come here when we visit Haworth, food and landlady were always amazing. Have left reviews here before for a great pub. Knew it had been taken over and this was our first time back. Took a group off friends and they couldn't ait for a lovely meal. I got the roast turkey Christmas dinner. . . Worst pub meal I've ever had 2 small dried over roasted potatos, a few roasted veg, overcooked, one think slice turkey and a dish of cold cauliflower and Broccoli Cheese, that the cheese wasn't even melted. I had to send it all back to warm up, no taste. Shocking. Some of the table only got starters and they sent those back as tasteless and awful. Won't be going back. And the young lad working, who used the tea towel over his shoulder to blow his nose into, then continued using the tea towel in the dining area........

Thought I would call in for a hot coffee while out in Haworth, and have a peep at the refurb that's just been done. Looks nice and fresh inside. The bar man was welcoming, and he asked he coworker to get me a coffee. The coffee arrived, and it was hardly warm 😞, I didn't think you could mess up with a coffee machine, but hey ho, the coffee was drank in record time as it was nearly cold and I was in my way. I would have said something, but there was nobody about to speak to. All in all, tho a nice little pub, but maybe next time I will just order a cold beer 🍺 😀 😉.

For some reason, this pub was dead, which was odd bearing in mind it was a Friday night. Enjoyed the retro 70s music though as kept you busy guessing who were the artists. Also this distracted you (albeit slightly) from a local who kept snorting up phlegm which was most gross as he clearly didn’t know he was doing it!! If it wasn’t for the cheap bottle of Fizz we purchased, we would have made a sharp exit

After arriving on a sunny afternoon for Sunday lunch, after we had ordered and paid we were then told there would be a 45 minute wait, 50 minutes later we chased the meal and were told 5 minutes we chased again 10 minutes later and they did not come back to us, 1 hour and 10 minutes later we received a frozen Yorkshire pudding a tiny amount of veg and a few strips of tough beef that we could not even cut perched on a tiny serving of mash. We requested our money back and left starving, with most places closed by the time we left and missing out on the sunny afternoon this totally spoiled our afternoon out. A table of 4 were served before us and we saw another couple had to also chase their meals. Wish we had read the reviews first as they mirror our experience, they should not be attempting to serve food. Very disappointing experience we will never go back.

It's a nice friendly local kind of pub, but only two minutes walk from the Bronte parsonage museum. We went in as a family 2 days previous for a drink, there were no tables free so we left. So when we took the kids on the train we had the foresight to book a table. When we got there we was told our table wasn’t ready as the previous party was still waiting for food. They found us another table after moving a gentleman who had just sat down. We were told it was a limited menu of lasagna, sausage and mash or light bites which was fine with us. We was told at the point of ordering it was a 40 minute wait which was fine, we ordered 2 soups 1 nachos and a bacon sandwich with chips. After an hour we chased our food ( other parties were doing the same) and we was told 10 minutes, we then had to chase it again and was told 10-15 minutes. We heard the staff being told no more food orders. At this point we asked for our money back, the member of staff was apologetic. I’m no chef but I think I could warm up soup make a bacon sandwich and melt some cheese on nacho’s in that time. Disappointing really as the kids were looking forward to it and it spoilt our day out.

We went to this pub today for food and drinks with the family. My husband was told there was a wait for food 30 - 45 mins which we were willing to wait for as it seemed busy. We actually got our food 1 hrs 45 minutes later, despite asking at 2.15 when we were going to get our food. The bar staff went to find out but didn't return to us, asked again at 2.30 (we had been here since 1.00) I was told it was going to be 10 mins ! 15 mins later we eventually got our food which was absolutely abysmal. I got lasagne which was dry and the lasagne sheets were hard. The sausage might as well have been from asdas own range. Absolutely shocking. We were passed saying anything by this point as the staff didn't seem bothered !!!!! Will not go here again
