Amazing food at a great price and fantastic service. Every single staff member we saw welcomed you and made us feel at home. We are not from the area but will 100% return in the future for another meal. Just what we needed after a big walk in the countryside.

Pub was really busy- we were a table of 7 with no booking and were accommodated. Told food would be 30mins from ordering which we expected but communicated well. Food lovely and all eaten by every person in our party- nothing left! We had a money off voucher received in the post as live locally which was a really welcome treat as the meal was to celebrate a birthday

Difficulty with parking, it somehow always ends up full despite the inside being less than busy. We were seated very quickly, staff were very attentive and made sure we had ordered and were served efficiently. Food was very good, large portions. Good menu selection. Beer selection not so exciting. Tad on the pricey side but for Haworth that's not a shock. We used to go very often for family meals but the price hikes put us off, recently it's not been too bad though.

Nice looking old pub but don't eat here! I ordered a well done steak and blue cheese sandwich, took ages to come and when it did it was inedible, barely cooked chopped up steak that was almost all fat and gristle and no sign of blue cheese. They were apologetic and knocked it off the bill but any chef should be ashamed that they served this to a customer.

Amazingly good value as I had a discount voucher. Dog friendly I had a roast dinner which was pretty good, if I was pushed I might add that the beef was a little overcooked and the roast veg undercooked but it was very tasty and the staff were lovely and the service very good. I didn't stay in the hotel so can't vouch for the accommodation

Came here for a lunch before going on a walk around the local area. Arrived on a weekend at lunchtime and was able to be seated indoors without a wait. There was outside seating available too. Lovely traditional rustic British pub. Staff were friendly and attentive came and collected drink and food orders in good time and service was prompt. Menu offers usual selection of traditional pub food with some extras as well for a varied menu. Ordered the fish and chips (cod or haddock depending on catch). Portion was good and fish was light and flakey. Would recommend for a meal or something drinks after an explore of Haworth.

We sat outside in the beer garden. The first table we sat on was broken and needed some tlc. We moved tables. Ordering drinks and food was easy. We had a voucher so food price was reasonable. Drinks are very expensive. £2.90 for a regular coke! £6.40 for a good IPA! Food came quickly and was really nice. Kids meals are a very reasonable price. That would encourage me to return. Service was great. Staff were friendly and commented on our polite children. I would return but only with the voucher as prices are too expensive.

A beautiful old historical pub .. staff friendly but £14.05 for a glass of orange squash - a larger and a single G&T was a little steep .. we eat out often so being honest the signature burger with no bun ( as requested) was poor and two small pieces of lettuce .the fries fine … there was no thought of presentation . I have this quite often when we go to pubs but it was not good at all ..We were going to book for a weekend stay but not after the food .. plus others as we heard didn’t enjoy theirs . So please dear chef sort it out as looking at the pub and its gorgeous interior should be way better …!! Really sorry but wouldn’t eat there again .

Even though the venue and gardens are lovely, unfortunately, the drinks are a tad overpriced for what they are. Some of the people I was with experienced poor customer service from the bar staff. We called in for the first time on the afternoon before Mother's Day where I had booked a table for the Sunday. We were welcomed by a member of staff as we opened the door and were shown where we would be sitting the following day with our dog. The hall is impressive and has huge open fireplaces. We expected to have only a choice of a Sunday roast the next day but were impressed when we were presented with the menu with the dishes that were on offer. We had the most delicious meals and desserts in a beautiful room next to one of the old fireplaces. Someone took our order who I later when asking was the manager. He and his team deserve praise for their efficiency, their friendliness and above all the quality of the food and presentation by their chef(s). The photo of the interior doesn't do it justice but was very busy at the time.

Excellent historic pub ... very well liked in town .. food was good, but the lamb shank seems a bit over cooked in the wine sauce (still tender, but seemed overly rich) .. sea bass was good .. waitress did not understand what a scotch was so she had to get someone else ... in the end I had to go to the bar to see for myself what scotch they had in stock .. makes me believe this is not a place to go for any kind of higher evening dinner service .. probably best as a lunch spot for pub food and drinks .. price was decent though

As I have left a review with Marston, I won't repeat myself, However, I just felt the need to shout from the rooftops about this establishment, We have always enjoyed eating out, We haven't done this as much for a few years now due to my illness, I needn't have worried, nothing was too much trouble for ANY MEMBER OF STAFF from arriving to leaving, We even stayed much longer than planned, tried out lots of new dishes, loved to hear what staff recommended or enjoyed themselves and could advice you on your likes/dislikes or requirements /needs, I can't remember all of staff members names, It would be so unfair to leave anybody out as all 4 of them were absolutely fantastic, Very knowledgeable of their surroundings/history of the establishment, And about the food and drinks that they serve, Coming from somebody whos disabled, chronicly ill and has many nutritional requirements, (and who also brought 2 dogs and family,) these guys know their stuff, Eating didnt even seem like an issue, So much so, we can't wait for our second visit and hopefully many more to come, Thanks for everything you've done to make today so enjoyable (and normal) for us all

The service when we arrived was a little slow, but that's not too much of a worry for me as it felt relaxed. We ordered and our drinks came quickly. The food arrived - my husband's burger was a few minutes before the rest and his fries were lukewarm so he started eating. My daughter got her roast last and there was no meat on the plate. We ordered desserts and again they came out at very different times; my son and husband had almost finished by the time my crumble arrived. We asked for the bill and then had to wait 10 minutes for someone to take our payment. Food was delicious though!

We arrived early and managed to be seated where daylight was coming in. It's very dull in the dining area but in keeping with its rich history. The service was excellent and the girls were helpful and cheerful. They were interested in why we were there. An apology to the manager as I kept our waitress longer to explain what was happening in one of the tapestries. As a lacemaker myself, I was happy to explain the embroidery. Our food was lovely, couldn't fault the service or the menu.

The Management & Staff were extremally committed to giving excellent service, We are on a weeks holiday here in Haworth 3rd time visit and always dine at the Old Hall, the drinks selection is excellent nice to see such a good range of cask beer's. The food is excellent as is the Sunday lunch, but I can not praise the Manager & his wife both very busy but always find time to check that all is okay with your meal, in our case we were booked in for 12-30pm for Sunday lunch but found having a drink first we were racing for time but was informed by the team not to worry they held back on our order till 1-00pm this giving us time to relax before our lunch. I ordered 2 whole peri peri chickens, waited over 45 minutes for the order. And when I got home the chickens tasted disgusting, they were off. It wasn't edible. Absolutely terrible! I ordered the day before and it was fine, but this time they served me old chicken that had gone off. You'd expect better after waiting for so long for an order. Very disappointing.
