The best restaurants in Yorkshire and The Humber

We called in on the way to North Yorkshire, it was a little hard to find(we nearly gave up but we’re ravenous so persevered) found it alongside the river…. The clue is in the name🙄 the food is not fancy but beautifully cooked and really well priced. Scampi and chips and burger and chips for around £25. Nice pub feel and the staff are lovely.

Harvey’s Brasserie the Sunday lunch is excellent, hot food served at speed from a well organised group of people. From the chef’s ,restaurant staff and kitchen support team. No place inBridlington like it, Cheers Harvey’s what an experience.

This lovely little cafe, with associated retro shop, is just off the high street. You go down a short flight of stairs into a world of tea, coffee, lunch and cakes. It's warm and cosy; there is a range of teas and coffees (I had a Yorkshire rhubarb flavoured tea), and a nice selection of cakes (mine was a gluten and dairy free chocolate peanut butter slice which was wonderful. They also do lunches. Highly recommended.

I went to this cafe yesterday with friends for afternoon tea. What a great place!! Atmosphere is great, staff very friendly & efficient. The afternoon tea was excellent, variety of fresh sandwiches & savories. Scones & cakes were very good and a very reasonable price. I will be back without a doubt.

I personally haven’t been in milk & honey cafè since I was a kid… it was lovely to see the cafè still open and to be able to call in for a delicious bacon butty and a hot drink The staff there was friendly, welcoming and all had outstanding customer service skills

Stopped off for a pot of tea while we were wandering round Bradford. What a lovely place. The owner was so friendly and the tea was excellent. Loved the plants.

Tuve que comprobarlo después de escuchar buenos informes. Tuvimos una comida fantástica aquí. Muy abundante, carne fresca a la parrilla. El Pide fue increíble y la primera vez para nosotros. Lo recomendaría.

I came here for the second time as not normally in the area. The owner recognised me and is very friendly. Latte very good and nice tables outside with cushions. Lovely to sit in the sun! Lovely little cafe. I'll be back next time I'm nearby.

Amazing halal healthy food - absolutely loved the chicken panko bowl. All the flavours worked well together. Have been back a number of times.

Great food and service all at a reasonable price. Several Polish people eating there, one from Manchester. We ate off the Polish menu, everything was very good.

Proper grub! Really good food, great portions, very nice all done very well. Lovely people will make sure you’re looked after too! Well worth a visit!

Me encanta este lugar! La Oficina hará lo que necesite para hacer - café para llevar en su camino a la estación de tren, té y pastel con un amigo, 241 cócteles en un sábado, cenas por la noche, evento privado. Lo que sea, lo hará. Mat, el dueño es fantástico. Él le dará la bienvenida como amigo en la Oficina y le hará sentirse cómodo de inmediato. Las bebidas son excelentes, los pasteles son excepcionales, y la comida es brillante. POR FAVOR, si eres local, debes irte. Te prometo que no te decepcionarás y que volverás.

Everything was perfection, definitely recommend!! Delicious food!!
