The best restaurants in Yorkshire and The Humber

We had 3 wonderful nights here over the Easter break. Cleanliness, staff and food were all excellent. Especially the Proper Pie!

After visiting for food was really surprised to see that the place has recently received a food hygiene rating 1 I would not expect this from such an establishment

Atrapado un alfiler en un mapa (google) para encontrar un desayuno a una hora de dejar el alojamiento de vacaciones. Qué hallazgo. Interesante decoración mostró los pasteles caseros y salados mientras esperábamos unos minutos para una mesa. Desayuno de aguacate con huevos escalfados en pan de masa madre, tomates secados al sol, chorizo y brotes de guisantes era divino y sustancial. El personal era amable y obviamente disfrutamos de servir y cocinar tanto como disfrutamos comiendo. Haz un desvío. Vale cada kilómetro y cada centavo.

No menu for the restaurant online just takeaway, which is/ can be confusing as one of the dishes states that it is "carved at your table" and apparently they will come to your house and carv it at your table, really!!! Foood and atmosphere very good though.

A warm welcome shown by the land lady. Our drinks arrived quickly after ordering. It took us a while to decide what to choose as there was a great choice of food on the lunch time menu. We ordered five adult meals and a child’s meal. Everything arrived freshly cooked and piping hot. We all enjoyed our choices and the portion sizes were very generous. We decided to share desserts and they were delicious too. We would highly recommend this pub for a great family meal.

I have been coming to this takeaway for as long as I can remember with my husband and can say the food is always delicious, prices are very reasonable and the staff are friendly especially the owner with the grey hair he has a brilliant sense of humour, well spoken and is very pleasant. We recommend this place always to everyone!

Went for a midweek lunch and this is fantastically good value. The service is excellent, the portions are generous and the food delicious. Really pleased we decided to try here.

Esta es una gran relación calidad-precio café vegetariano. Tuvimos un buen curry y una sabrosa ensaladera de hummus cuando visitamos para el almuerzo. El personal era muy amable y servicial. Como está justo al lado de la Puerta de Arundel, nos sorprendió que no estuviera más ocupado, aunque era un martes. Sin duda volveremos a visitar. Mi sugerencia es que visites antes de que se ponga demasiado ocupado!

Pasó 3 noches en el Hotel The Chapel House, alojamiento y desayuno. Estábamos un poco aprensivos del auto check-in, pero recibimos un mensaje de texto el día de nuestra llegada con instrucciones claras y no podría haber sido más fácil. Todo fue pensado para hacer nuestra estancia fácil, hasta la compra en el lugar de permisos de aparcamiento si vinimos en coche y la provisión de toallas adicionales (por un pequeño cargo) para utilizar la piscina de al lado. La habitación familiar que teníamos estaba limpia y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos y era atendida todos los días. El hotel está a poca distancia a pie del centro de la ciudad que conduce a la playa. El personal era encantador y el desayuno era genial - por favor, pruebe la papilla no te decepcionará que era exuberante!

I had an incredible time at Brgr Time! The food was top-tier — fresh, juicy, and full of flavour. I tried the smash burger meal and it was easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in Leeds. The wings were perfectly spiced, and the portion sizes were super generous. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Big shout out to the team for their top-notch service! The vibe of the place was also great — clean, well-decorated, and the music added a nice touch. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Brgr Time to everyone I know. Keep up the amazing work.

The BEST fish and chips ever !!!!!!!

When the brothers, George and Chris had it big portions and great mixed kebabs. Gave them the benefit of the doubt but has got no better. Saw on facebook the kebab meat is Halal meat? Any truth in this because I don’t want it.
